CrazyMan: They were building a tower, and God came down and scattered it...(Genesis 11:1-9)

What point are you trying to prove here?
Why did God have to came down?, came down from where?

Could you please provide valid bible passages to back up your claims.
"And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.
9 Then the Lord God called to the man, and said to him, "Where are you?"
10 And he said, "I heard the sound of Thee in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; so I hid myself," (Gen. 3:8-10).

Why god have to ask "Where are you?"
Christianity Etc › Re: The Absurdity Of God's Omnipresence. by Horus(m): 1:51pm On Oct 26, 2012
@CrazyMan

God was uncertain where Adam was when Adam hid himself in the Garden of Eden. Surely this so called "omnipresent" God that could create the universe and transcend time would be able to locate a hiding man. God only learns what has happened when he interrogates Eve. Then he acts. God also cannot determine where Abel happens to be after he has been slain by his brother. Again, he must gain his answers from Cain. God has to "look down" to see what is occurring in Shinar and he has to personally view the wickedness of man before destroying the cities of the plain.

1 - Why god have to ask Eve where is Adam if he is omnipresent?.
2 - Why god have to ask Cain where Abel happens to be if he is omnipresent?.
3 - Why God has to "look down" to see what is occurring in Shinar if he is omnipresent?.

Please CrazyMan kindly answer the 3 questions above.

Joagbaje: Luke 11:42
"But woe to you Pharisees! For though you are careful to tithe even the smallest part of your income, you completely forget about justice and the love of God. You should tithe, yes ,but you should not leave these other things undone.
Is it the 419 version of the bible you are reading?
Below is the right version

Luke 11:42

42 “Woe to you Pharisees, because you give God a tenth of your mint, rue and all other kinds of garden herbs, but you neglect justice and the love of God. You should have practiced the latter without leaving the former undone.

Proofs that you are telling us lies, so you cannot be trusted PERIOD!!

Interresting thread. The "God" of your bible is Not omnipresent.

Genesis 4:16

"16 And Cain went out from the presence of the LORD, and dwelt in the land of Nod, on the east of Eden."

How can Cain went out from the presence of the LORD if he is omnipresent?.

UPDATE 2: Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Reno Omokri, has deleted the tweet with which he confirmed the death of Governor Danbaba Suntai.
He had tweeted, “May the soul of the late departed Governor, Danbaba Suntai, of Taraba State rest in peace and may God grant the state peace this trying time,” he said.
But when we checked his twitter handle at 9.25 p.m., the tweet was no longer there.
———————————————————————————————————————————————————-
UPDATE 1: More reports reaching us from Taraba State indicate that the state government has issued a press release confirming the presence of the governor on the plane that crashed in Yola, Adamawa State, but saying the governor was not dead.
The governor was flying the private jet that had four other passengers. All were injured, but none of them died, the statement reportedly said.
The governor is believed to be the most badly hurt but is not dead and is currently receiving treatment at the General Hospital in Yola, a source that has seen the statement told us via telephone.
A rescue operative at the scene also said that none of the occupants of the plane died.
The Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria has also promised to issue a statement soon.
We will provide more details as events unfold.
A presidency spokesperson, Reno Omokri, had earlier tweeted, confirming the governor died in the crash.
Read our earlier post below.

Reports from Yola, the Adamawa State capital, indicate that an airplane has crashed while approaching the Yola International Airport.
Details of the incident is sketchy at this time, but witnesses said the plane looks small, like a non-commercial private jet, and crashed just behind the NNPC depot in the town.
There are reports that Governor Danbaba Suntai of Taraba was one of the passengers on the ill-fated plane. We are unable to independently confirmed this as the governor’s spokesperson could not be reached yet for confirmation.
But the Special Assistant to the President on New Media, Reno Omokri, has just tweeted, confirming the governor’s death.
“May the soul of the late departed Governor, Danbaba Suntai, of Taraba State rest in peace and may God grant the state peace this trying time,” he said.

'Queen of Sheba' wall

Scientists in Nigeria have authenticated an ancient wall near Lagos, but are playing down the possibility that it marked the boundary of the kingdom of the legendary Queen of Sheba.
A team of Nigerian and British archaeologists say the wall, which could be more than 1,000 years old, is genuine and not a modern construction.

Nigerian expert Levi Izuakor confirmed the wall was evidence of a great ancient city, but that little more than that could be said about its origins at this time.

The Eredo ramparts: Possible World Heritage status

The find had prompted suggestions that the centre of one of Africa's greatest kingdoms - and the final resting place of the Queen of Sheba - had been discovered.

But experts say the dating of the wall could eventually place its construction many hundreds of years after the lifetime of the Old Testament figure.

The wall lies hidden in the Nigerian rainforest at a site called Eredo, just a few hour's drive from the capital, Lagos.

https://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/350000/images/_353462_nigeria_sheba_150.gif

A team from Bournemouth University, working with British archaeologist Dr Patrick Darling, recently completed a preliminary survey of the Eredo earthworks.

They consist of a wall and ditch measuring 70ft (20 metres) high in places and approximately 100 miles (150km) long.

'Earliest rainforest kingdom'

While not approaching the complexity of a project like the pyramids in Egypt, the builders would have shifted an estimated 3.5 million cubic metres of earth during construction of the ramparts.

https://news.bbc.co.uk/olmedia/350000/images/_353462_awujale150.jpg
Awujale: Local link to Sheba

The British eventually broke the Ijebu trade monopoly, leading to the decline of the kingdom.

However, the traditional position of Awujale still exists in the modern day town of Ijebu-Ode.

Dr Darling says the Eredo site is a particularly exciting discovery because it provides the "earliest proof of a kingdom founded in the African rainforest".

Monument of remembrance

People living nearby the Eredo monuments link the area to Bilikisu Sungbo, another name for Sheba, says Dr Darling.

Local tradition speaks of a great queen building a vast monument of remembrance, and there is an annual pilgrimage to what is believed to be her grave.

But scholars trace the legend of the Queen of Sheba to an Old Testament story, describing how the queen married Solomon and their son began a dynasty of rulers in Ethiopia.

Estimates suggest the Old Testament queen would have reigned in the 10th century BC - some 2,000 years before the Eredo wall is believed to have been built.

Dr Darling says the beliefs of the locals cannot be discounted.

"I don't want to overplay the Sheba theory, but ,  the local people believe it and that's what is important."

He believes that, whatever the case, Eredo could become Nigeria's first world heritage site, joining monuments like Stonehenge in the UK and the pyramids of Egypt.

This is one million cubic metres more than the amount of rock and earth used in the Great Pyramid at Giza.

Archaeologists believe it marks out what is believed to be the boundary of the Ijebu kingdom, ruled by the 'Awujale' spiritual leader.

Pastors who ask for tithes are scammers!!. Jesus never took from his congregation. He never passed around a basket or tray to receive pledges and donations at the end of each sermon. He never asked for a payment. Nor did he ever tell his disciples to accept money for their assistance as found in Matthew 10:8-10:
“Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out devils: freely ye have received, freely give. Provide neither gold, nor silver, nor brass in your purses, nor scrip for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves: for the workman is worthy of his meat.”

Perhaps the curious feature about this cultural expression, is that the youth side-lock is strictly an African custom, and the fact that the ancient Egyptians shared with Africans south of the Sahara this custom, is significant.

Maiherpri Mummy

Maiherpri was buried in a Royal Egyptian Tomb in the Valley of the Kings, the royal necropolis (Egypt). The mummy was unwrapped in March 1901, revealing a very dark skin with woolly hair. In Maiherperi's tomb, a papyrus was found depicting him with literally "blackish" skin. The papyrus in question was the Book of the Dead (Picture below).
