So all of you get the 1 million each, then who will do the work, produce the goods when they all now have money they don't have to work for?

Rest abeg. Patients are weak and most times desperate. In fact, most patients are ignorant and will desperate do anything to get back on their feet. Doctors are the real powerful force in the health sector. Let's stop sugar coating stuff. Most doctors don't even sleep for 24 hours. Some spend 48 hrs on their feet running around with limited resources. If you have not had interactions with patients, you'll think they are some form of patients and often co-operative people, they are not. Like every customers, patients are often troublesome. This is why you see a lot of people complaining about nurses. Because nurses don't have the patience to tolerate their bullshîts like doctors. Nurses will get rude with you the moment you try them. But never doctors. They will repeat themselves 100times if necessary. Let's try to give them their flowers abeg |

Tor that's what you should know. It's not about put it out there. People who have media power don't stay in rural areas. If you post it on social media, it either get taken down for graphic content or it stays in your friends cycle. If you see the number of killings, you'll understand. Worst, people don't even bother to report anymore. They just cry one day or two and bury the dead Luckysbab: |

The last youth leader that did this in benue state was brutally beaten and still in hospital as we speak. You know who attacked him? The police that they later went to report to. See when we say islamization is happening life and supported by our leaders some of you don't hear. You just come on here and talk as though people don't know the solution to these fulani men. I'm from benue. Currently in benue. So no be news report I dey tell you so. Na wetin I witness myself. These things don't even make it to the news anymore. You can't fight these guys without the police arresting and fvcking you up. You can't! Last time some community youths bought guns and bike, they were arrested that same night by the same police and currently in jail. People wey get money abroad wey send money come give those youth to buy guns and Okada to protect themselves can not come home again because the police are actively looking for them. Until this thing enter cities, una go dey there dey talk nonsense Luckysbab: |

Content creators are not really respected here on nairaland. By content creators, I mean the many creators of the different topics we all read here on nairaland. These people create threads, come up with titles, they are the STARTERS of conversations here on nairaland. But for all their efforts, nairaland and it's moderators treat their efforts like sh*t. Platforms like Twitter have pivoted to rewarding content creators and we are not even asking for that. There's no compensation for creating any content here on nairaland and I believe this will catch up with the platform sooner than Mr. Seun will realize. Yes, nairaland is a big platform with millions of users. But that's all for the benefits of Mr. Seun. How does the millions of readers translate to any tangible results for the content creators? I'll love to use a well known creator here as an illustration. Mr. Nąija Cōver (you can see I even have to change the name because seun deletes it whenever you type NąijaCōver) is very popular here on the platform. Every day you'll almost always see one of his topic on the front page. He posts news from his blog to nairaland and almost every day. He provides significant contents to nairaland all the time. And what does he get in return for posting regularly on nairaland? Nothing. Instead, nairaland moderators block him from sharing his blog link. He gets banned when he post links to his blog. So now, he's a creator who is supposed to post articles on nairaland, people come and read, boost the platform and Seun gets all the ads revenue. But Mr NăijaCøver gets nothing in the end. He could not even get a link to his website to get a little traffic. This is a terrible and selfish business model @ Mr seun. Even on social media platforms when you create contents, you get rewarded for it. When you write good blogs Google rewards you with traffic for the good contents. What do you get from nairaland other than getting banned from even linking to your content? Yes spamming is bad but there are better ways. Seun you have to understand that the price you pay for your creators for creating interesting content since you cannot pay them is letting them get little traffic from your site. This is the incentive to keep creators creating content more and more. If you let for instance, the guy to include his link, then he knows that anytime he create good content and it gets to front page, he'll get some juice back to his own website. This prompts him to want to be a better creator for the website. If you check my account you'll see that it's a new one. People are no longer creating as much as they used to because there's just no incentive anymore. Like why will I go to blogs to read news or take my time to sit and create contents for your readers while I get nothing in return.? Prior to now, every jambite say nairaland is the best source of information. It was timely, fast and easy for them. This is because the scholar niche bloggers were posting here frequently because they could get traffic to their sites. Go to education thread nowadays, you don't see news any more. Oga seun, you are killing your creators. And consequently you're shooting yourself in the foot as well. Nairaland needs people who creates useful threads. You need them. Just as much as they need you. My one piece |

OK. No one says getting money from your donation is bad. But only advice I'll give you is that understand that your body has limited capacity for blood production. It can only produce a certain amount of blood per month. If you go donate above that, you too will start lacking blood. I've seen a class mate start going down while we were donating blood. You can also feel strong but don't risk excessive donation. After each donation, allow 2-3 month pass before you do another donation make you no go turn patient o. Sonofgod1990: |
I didn't read everything but according to the movie, micheal did the nose because he wanted to. Not because of his father or anything. And this is very common. A lot of people once the hit the spotlight, they want to be "perfect" and they start modifying their body parts. It doesn't mean the parents are bad. dauntless15: |
You can donate up to 6 times a year. There should be 12weeks interval between each donation to allow your body recover. Yesterday was blood day of the year. Donate to save a life ![]() Sonofgod1990: |
It's crazy bro. I think this all began as court session. You know trying to brand MJ as a kid whose childhood was stolen from him. Reason why he likes having kids around him and stuff. Well, who stole the childhood.? They needed a villain to blame, so his father became a sacrificial lamb. Basic123: |
When you watch it you'll understand. The spent almost the entire movie trying to paint his father black. flexyrule: |
Because your opinion has never mattered in anything doesn't mean the same thing for everyone. I'm so important they made a movie for me to watch. My opinion mattered because you and a thousand others just read it and are responding to it. It's not my fault if you have been so low to think that anything handed to you, you must receive it without countering it or offering your opinion. I was not brought up that way and I don't live that way. If you want to treated like a dog all your life being put on a leash and handed crumbs that falls from the table because you think you don't matter, that's all on you. But never make the mistake of thinking we are all in the same group of people who don't matter and should accept whatever is handed to them. RISQUE: |
I've seen a lot of discussion on this topic and even recently, it was on the front page. I'm here to tell you that you cannot separate love from sex. There are different types of love. The one you have for your friend, families and also the one you have for objects like cars or even the one you have for your God/Allah. But when it comes to the love you have for your partner, it's purely a "lustful" kind of love. There's nothing "pure" in that kind of love as most people often imagine. In fact, the love between a man and a woman was never meant to be "pure". It is one that is and should be fueled by lust. Yes, the worst kind of lust you can think of should fuel such love. When as a man you approach a total stranger to toast her, you're not doing so because you think she's a wonderful person. Or because you felt that out of the whole women in the world, she possesses something unique. No. You approach her because she creates a tug on your boxer. Or better still, she appeals to you in a way that you know/think that if you sleep with her, you'll be happy. Love starts with lust. Lust is the very beginning of love. This is why relationships are strongest when they start. Because lust is high and on overdrive. It's later on you get the lust under and start making conscious efforts to tolerate the person. I'm saying this especially to guys that easily get deceived. You meet a lady and she's telling you to love her without touching her. She never try to get sexual with you. She never tries to kiss you, romance you or do anything with you. Yet, you're planning marriage with her believing she wants to be pure, my guy, you go see shege o. I'm not saying you must get sex from the lady. Yes some ladies want to be celibate till marriage. But there should be palpable sexual tension between you guys. One that makes her run away from you and you're aware that she's running because she can no longer resist you. Not the one you're wondering whether she likes you or not. Or feeling like she's so strong she can resist you. Everytime you are the one initiating physical contacts. You're the one trying to kiss her or hold her hands. She never picks a part of your body and admires it or try to touch your body to caress it. Yet, you dey můmů dey think say she loves you or she's religious or innocent ![]() My brother she no love you like that o. Be warned. |

I keep saying this. Nigerian men are bending and breaking their backs for women who will not give them a drop of water when they are dying of thirst. It'll look like love. My brother it's not love. These girls are not capable of loving you as you love them. They love intentional men. What they love is the "intention" not the "men". Be wise o. You dey spend money dem go love you. Even men dey love men wey get money. |
