Hello, will be nice to get some insights on the 2012 Ford Edge SE. Kindly add to the group. 08063366949 Thank you |
Nice thread. Let me add the Mitsubishi Pajero to the list and its interestingly the most affordable to scoop up, while holding up nicely. It's an underrated champion and a solid work horse with nice manners and street credibility.

Season's greatings everyone. Trust you are enjoying your Pajeros. Sorry i have been away from here for sometime. We back on the grind now. |
johnabraham:Hi, how is your Pajero doing? Got the leather seats fixed? |
See image

johnabraham:I did a leather replacement job with a guy at Ilasan but I'd score it 70%. He said it was because he had to rush to meet my timeline especially for the front seats (3 days). Leather selected was good, beige colour was near perfect match but the stitch could be better. Some noticeable folds at some edges. Perhaps if I had more time I could have supervised him to get what I want. On IG, there is @lagoscarfix. I haven't tried them though. You can speak with them and see if they can meet your needs. There are also some threads here in the Auto section you can look up. Please share feedback when job is done. Good luck |
Hello everyone, trust you had a fabulous week. Hope your Pajero and you are still best of friends? |
There may be a peculiar reason for that. Price, condition, specs, etc. From reviews and experience shared by some owners I know I do not think the Pajero will be classed as fragile. But of course no vehicle should be abused or I'll maintained. Repairs will dip holes in pockets. |
Hello Pajero lovers, trust you are having a pleasant relationship with your car? For the benefits of members or owners who may be dealing with some maintenance issues, can we share recommendations of technicians/garages in cities across the country which offer reliable services. Also, parts supply plugs. For parts- I know De Great Frank Global Services. Stocks new parts and upgrade body kits. Location is popular Ladipo market at Mushin. Ideas are welcome. |
Exactly. Many thanks. |
Bedtime bath...

olenyi:As recommended by a buddy who has been using it for over two years. |
TPound:Nice. Any takers? |
kingreign:I understand from that perspective. My 2007 Acura MDX packs 300bhp and always a pleasure taking off from green lights. But the drive and feel of the Pajero though not as spunk as other cars, pulls through nicely, especially as many Lagos roads have become off road terrains. |
3.5l V6. Good power

Android Head Unit Engine bay cleanup. The good guys at @sprynxmulti on IG did a great job. No water gunning. Just meticulous detailing.

Do you own a Mitsubishi Pajero/Shogun, especially from 2007 upwards? Let's connect here to discuss experience, shared thoughts, Mods, maintenance, parts supply/availability, technical support, etc. I have been an Acura MDX lover (2007 MDX Tech/Ent/Sports package) from 05/2015 to date. Recently found affection for the Pajero/Shogun full size SUV and got a deal on a 2010 model, black on black. My MDX is also 7 seater black on black 2010 Pajero, one owner from new. 103KM on Odo. Issues at purchase: Minimal. Light scratches and cracks in leather seats edges. One weak ignition coil (No. 5) One missing fog light chrome Worn steering wheel leather Few scuffs and scratches on body and fender. No dents Faulty brake switches Broken key fob Works done Leather repair cream. Small touch fixed leather seats Ignition coil 5 changed Fog light chrome fixed Steering wheel cover installed Full paint refresh. Oven job Brake switch replaced Key fob replaced General service/Oil change (Total Quartz 7000). Brand new Bridgestone tyres 265/65R17 Mods done Led headlights low& full beam installed Led fog light installed Android entertainment head unit installed Rear camera installed Driving experience? Awesome. Wifey & the kids have left Acura MDX for me. They are fully on Pajero . One bummer though: Floor under driver side gets hotter than normal especially in heavy traffic. Research on forums finger the Cat Converter. Some people said they fixed theirs by removing the Cat (I'm not sure yet). Will update on this fix. Overall, I'm loving the Mitsubishi Pajero and looks like it's a keeper for the long haul.

If you find a good Pajero from 2007 upwards go for it. That truck is loyal. |
Tomilola360:Facts: I used a 2003 MDX for 2 years. I currently own (as a daily driver) a 2007 MDX, which I have owned since 2015. It's up for sale now and guess what's No. 1 on my replacement list? A 2007-2012 MDX, pending when the price of 2014 upwards will come down. Not everyone is Toyota Highander/Venza fan. OP, what you want in a car should determine which car you settle for within your budget. But by all means by a good one and not a packaged one. Do not forget that the MDX is a luxury vehicle and is designed so. Not an economy car. For me, 3.7liter engine churning out 300hp, seven seater premium leather and high grade acoustic system and solid looks, makes the MDX a favourite, again, for ME. Point to note: Reselling can pose a small challenge because the used car market favours Toyota/Lexus brands above any other brand. |
Is this still available? |
Still hiring |

I have owned the 2007 MDX (Sport/Ent/Tech) spec since May 2015. Great car. Fuel economy is a relative issue. Engine is bigger than most v6 all wheel drives at 3.7l (current models have been dropped to 3.5l), and review at release puts it ahead of cars in its class (eg. BMW X5) in fuel economy (www.edmunds.com). If you are moving up from a 4 cylinder engine then you may need some time to adjust. If all is well with the particular car you are buying then you will be fine. When you have maintenance apart from very basic oil change, make out time to go to Oyingbo and find Muri's yard. That said, I'm definitely getting another Acura MDX when I let this one go. |
Good morning guys. Please can I get a quote for the following: Acura MDX 2010- 2013 Acura MDX 2014-15 Ford Mustang 2010-2012 Ford Mustang 2013-14 Thank you |
Lovely. Sports/Entertainment package. I have owned one since 2015 and it's been a great car. Happy sales. |
Op, please provide more details including engine and interior photos. This looks more like a basic Mustang V6. |
Ewelesuo:Bro, the sad thing is that the current generation of Nigerians don't read. They are more concerned about the fun of mud slinging, shades, clapbacks and negative vibes hence don't expect anything constructive or objective. The blogs too are all about traffic and everyone now is a news peddler. Sadly even the so called main stream media are not left out in the rush for breaking news and traffic. When i hear people talk about giving youths a chance I laugh because the people in that bracket are unprepared. Even on this forum, start an intelligent discussion that requires intellectual inputs and you are not likely to see traction. But start a discussion about celebrities, sex, how much someone is worth, or lavish spending and you will see traction. Sometimes it's best to just watch because you go talk tire for this country. Peace. |
Gentlemen, Kindly advise on cost to clear the following: 2008, 09 Ford mustang; 2010, 11 or 12 Ford mustang. Roro on Grimaldi Thanks |
Rawani:well said. Most Nigerians especially the young people do not read. Even the headline is misleading. We just love the sensation and verbal attacks which add no value. My hope in the youths diminishes everyday. |
People of the Lord, please how much to clear the following: Ford Mustang 2010, 2011 , 2012 & 2013 Chevrolet Camaro 08-2012 Camry 2010-2011 Thanks. |
