Romance / Re: I Am 30yrs, Earn 35k A Month And Will Marry A Student In A Months Time. by hotdi(m): 11:08am On Sep 07, 2017 |
Impressive analysis...Op u are right, I also got married earning N48,000, while sponsoring my younger sister in my state's university because my father is late. I was told not to marry yet but I know as a graduate with promising job, at 30 yrs of age it was the right time because I actually planned to get married at age 30. Then my wife was 27 yrs old and she just finished her NYSC. Most of your plans look similar to mine, I filled her bags upfront too, I have my suit and shoes in stock too, my committee of friends sponsored my bachelors eve, DJ and MC. One of my cousin sister rented the wedding gown, a friend rented a very moderate hall of 45k, I only paid 35k for decoration. My aunt organised her friends to do the cooking after I bought the food stuff including 55k cow. My in-laws waved the dowry even though we presented it. And other favours I can't mention right now. After the wedding, I was still able to pay my sisters school fees she is now in 300L. I occupied a one bedroom apartment at our staff quarters. Presently, my wife is doing home lesson inside my sitting room for 27 pupils paying her 3k each. I got the job with my ND and after my wedding I was placed on Grade Level 7 using my HND, now earning 99k. Note: I 've always contributed financially during friends wedding in the past ranging from 5k-7k, in addition to physical assistance. Good deeds pays. I once followed a friend to his elder brother's wedding those days, the cow purchased for the wedding became aggressive during conveyance and got loosed on the road, I took up the challenge of joining them for tracing and capturing it. I never knew the man took notice of my efforts. He is the one who paid 55k for my wedding cow. Planning is the way out, given the economic realities in this country, as a stitch in time saves nine. You don't want to be paying children school fees at old age, do you? Then better face the hardship now and rest later. There are no comfortable time to marry...you are just deceiving yourself if you think so. Once you are matured in mind, with little resource and matured wife, you will succeed. Don't be a fool at 40, pls. Marriage usually comes with its own luck sometimes. 19 Likes 3 Shares |

mrkayusfit: Guy Imam cannot be killed even if he climbed a church alter to preach, that is what make Christianity a matured, peaceful and tolerant religion compared to yours. There is no amount of inciteful preaching that warrant her being killed (that is simply Jihad). Even if she preach inciteful messages as u alleged, there are law enforcement agencies mandated to punish her if reported. If it is wrong to carry megaphone around preaching at 5:00am, what about your various Mosques' loud-speakers facing our flat and calling for prayers at 5:00am? The truth is, U guys do not value human life (if not u won't comment this way). To put the record straight, that particular religion is not peaceful and tolerant as u said, if u doubt me check out Middle-East as a whole, are they experiencing peace? In fact they have exported their violence all over the world in the brand of TERRORISM. DON'T BE DECEIVED mrkayusfit 1 Like |

Politics / I’m Ready To Return N400m ‘dasuki Cash’, Says Metuh by hotdi(m): 12:02pm On Jul 01, 2016 |
I hope those crying witch-hunt at the beginning of his trial are still around? I d laugh oo A former National Publicity Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party( PDP), Chief Olisa Metuh, yesterday offered to refund the N400million he got from the Office of the National Security Adviser( ONSA) during the tenure of former National Security Adviser( NSA) Col. Sambo Dasuki. He said he had been in talks with the Ministry of Justice, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and other bodies on how to refund the money and resolve the issue. The cash was part of the $2.1billion that was meant for arms purchase. The cash which was managed by ONSA, was allegedly diverted. After many months in and out of detention and court, Metuh decided to repay the money which was illegally remitted into the account of his firm, Desra Nigeria Limited. The ex-PDP spokesman made the announcement in a statement through his lawyer, Onyechi Ikpeazu (SAN). He said although the cash was released to him by former President Goodluck Jonathan, he did not know the source as at the time. He said since the EFCC presented in court a document on the source of the money, he had made up his mind to willingly refund the N400million. He said with the development, he will continue to support the anti-corruption campaign of the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari, which is necessary to ensure probity in Nigeria The statement said: “In the light of the circumstances regarding the case of our client, Chief Olisa Metuh, with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), we want to explain the reasons for our client’s proposal to refund the N400 million released to him by former President Goodluck Jonathan, and which was expended on a project approved by the ex-President on national issues relating to his Presidency and the Federal Government at that time. “We want to restate that at the time the money was released to him after his presentation to the ex-President, our client had no knowledge of the source, a fact that is now obvious from the evidence of the prosecution and defence witnesses. “Our client had every cause to believe that the money was from the ex-President to whom he made presentation, received directives and rendered report and accounts accordingly. “When the matter first came up and Chief Metuh was invited to the Office of the National Security Adviser (ONSA) in December 2015, he requested to know the source of the money and expressed his readiness to make refunds if it was from government coffers, not minding that the money had been expended as directed by the former President. “Officials at ONSA never got back to him as they promised, until his arrest by the EFCC in January 2016. “ It was however while in court that a document was brought regarding the source of the money and since then, our client has made manifest his willingness to refund the money and has indeed approached his family, friends and associates to mobilise funds to refund the entire N400 million to the government regardless of the fact that the money had been expended based on the directives of the former President and that part of the money had been recovered from one of the prosecution witnesses.” Metuh said he had started discussions with the EFCC and the Ministry of Justice to resolve the case and move on. The statement added: “ We want to confirm that since then, we have been in talks with the Ministry of Justice, the EFCC and other necessary bodies on how to refund the money and resolve the issue. “Our client occupied no government office. His commitment and dedication to his official duties have been confirmed by even prosecution witnesses. In this whole saga, he has been an unfortunate victim of circumstances. His refunding the money therefore goes to show his support for the anti-corruption war as well as serve as a testament to his sincerity, integrity and honesty in this matter. “ There is no doubt that the prosecution has considerably embarked on some expenses in the course of this case. It is hoped that by not discounting the sum already recovered, whatever cost so far incurred would have been defrayed. By this, a critical objective of recovery of funds would no doubt be achieved.” He pledged to lend his support to the anti-graft war of the Buhari administration in order to ensure probity in the country. The statement said: “It is pertinent to restate our client’s continued support for the anti-corruption campaign, which is necessary to ensure probity in the affairs of Nigeria to the extent that it is conducted within the rule of law. “ Finally, it is our client’s prayer that this nation shall come through this difficult time by the grace of the Almighty God.” http://nigeriamasterweb.com/paperfrmes.html |

He is entitled to 30 days annual leave. He just took 10 days, if he decided to add few more days I don't see any reason why some people should be taking panadol for another person's enjoyment. Business / Re: CBN Floats The Naira, The Implications For You And I by hotdi(m): 12:30pm On Jun 16, 2016 |
CHANCEMAN: It is called single window Forex. CBN will no longer fix official price for exchange rate anymore, but let the demand and supply forces of the market determine the rate. Single in the sense that they wouldn't be official price on one side, and parallel market on the other side. In this case, the CBN ceases to be the only supply of e.g. Dollar into the market. Also, CBN becomes a participant in the market instead of playing the boss. Its influence becomes minimal base only on regulatory roles. Are u satisfied? |
