ValarDoharis: Someone created the thread yo laugh at non indigenes but if I can hear and speak your but you can't hear or speak mine....who has the advantage? The person with the stronger economy has the advantage. Out of the top 7 richest Nigerians, none speaks your language. Since Independence, out of more than 15 Heads of government in this country, only 1 speaks your language. Out of more than 15 Grammy's winners in the history of this country, none speaks your language. Your musicians and entertainers actually relocate to Lagos to learn Yoruba before they can make it. Are you aware that UNESCO predicted that due to how speakers of your language are rapidly diminishing, it will soon get extinct? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.thisdaylive.com/index.php/2018/12/10/struggle-to-save-igbo-language-from-extinction%3famp=1 Your language is not an advantage, it is a liability. |

Babysho: Ok the dots again lol, you're entitled to your opinion.
There are already features of liberalism in the progress Lagos enjoys today BUT the koko is to know where the important stuff lies. Like controlling government, land owning, tax. You create a welcoming environment for people to come and do business meanwhile they're actually enriching us.
I'm not against both Yoruba and English announcements but going as far as to say to hell to potential investors who can't speak Yoruba out of spite is just unnecessary.
Again, this is just my view. Has any investor come into Lagos and told you that language is a barrier? Or what nonsense are you even saying exactly? Is it not basic commonsense that when going into a market, the investor learns the language of the market? Just so you know, the language of investors is profit and loss. Any other thing is secondary. If don't understand Yoruba and you don't understand English, get yourself an interpreter. |

If this is not voodoo in action then the guy was definitely nut as described by NM in some videos making rounds. Infact the Bella shmurda guy attested that the guy was about jumping off a cliff recently... wetin u call that?
I call it depression making him nut.
I feel NM will need to grant interviews and come out clean, if not, the dead may be right afterall. We all tend to believe whom we may not see again. His words are on marble. Forget Naira Marley is finished professionally. The fact that Naira Marley didn't deny Mohbad's accusations of trying to kill him makes Naira Marley look culpable. |

Nipost has the capacity to dominate the courier and logistics sector but corruption won't allow them see road.
For Nipost to thrive, they must first sack all their staff who are 50 Years of age and above. Then, they retire slll those who have done 19 years in service and above.
The remaining ones, they need to provide them with work tools and give them performance deadlines.
In 2 Years, Nipost has the capacity to outmuscle GIG and other logistics companies. |

Omodua: Your comments depicts your shortsightedness and scant knowledge of issues at stake.
Is Lagos made up Yoruba and Egun only? How much does Yoruba and Egun people pay as tax vis-à-vis other ethnic groups?
Therefore, your verbose is infantile, babyish and foooolish.
Be more matured in your comments. Look at this idiot from a long lineage of losers. Ordinary rail transport, you are already crying. Wait till we get to Education, Health, Infrastructure and Commerce. You think paying tax gives you any right? You are slaving for us and you're foolish enough not to notice. Is that how they play it in 4 languages in Abuja, Aba, Kano or Enugu? Nothing for una for Lagos again. If you don't like it, gerrout. Omodua: You bore many of us with this Yoruba agenda. Lagos is a metropolitan city cutting across various ethnic groups and nationalities.
Therefore, underpinning the city with Yoruba agenda would be counter productive. Ask Warri people and they will tell you.
If you don't want other Nigerians, we go our separate ways than disturbing others with ethnically based policies. Yenyenyen If you want to leave Lagos, who is stopping you? After all, when Fashola deported you, you cried that he wanted to kill you as if living in your state is a death sentence. Lagos is for Yorubaland for all Nigerians and we owe you no apologies. Your tears won't change what is coming. Yoruba will be used in Lagos. If you don't like it, dance away. |
