The mistake myself and few others here made when we started was thinking or trying to make transcribing (especially on QA) a full time job ; . It's not, it can't be without risking your physical and mental health while working over-time (particularly on QA). Thank God for side hustle that if I had been slaving away for QA I wouldn't have had time for. This QA hustle nah do am, rest, do am again, rest again. I still do QA when I have the free time, but of course only strictly P.Foster, SQr, ISSA and co. I can't kill myself for anybody, how much are they paying me.

QA don cast. If it was before, calls full queue dey wait. You can fully utilize every minute you put in, these days, you can wait 30 minutes with no calls. Now that they have reduced payment, na to look for better alternative.

It can take up to a week. After maybe 2 days you should try taking the test again. If you're able to see the test, then you didn't pass.

For me it has been more than 2 months I took the test still I'm not able to retake it. I contacted them and they confirmed that I was not successful. Still till date I've not been able to retake. I'm considering changing email.

Please anyone has any update on the calls auto rated one last week due to systems malfunction?

Oga madam (Arlene) says everyone can go back to work. I hope they pay me twice, one for the original and another one for the redo. No be data I use do am?

SLACK just dey slack like no man business. I reported that glitch as at 12:00 a.m. Nigeria time but the SCC say I dey harass her.

As for the last question any fund from an unverified source is suspicious until proved otherwise. When you receive funds randomly from unverified source then PayPal suspects money laundering.

I really don't know how else to improve with this people. I feel sometimes they intentionally want to get free work. I'll transcribe well (I'm sure) only for them to come and tell me about misheard words, punctuations, missing dialog, and sentence structures. It's always a combo of at least punctuations and sentence structures. WTH. The missing dialogue is overlapping speech, and when I can't use [...] more than once, if I'm lucky to catch above 5 mins call, I can't use it more than twice, what will I do? Sometimes a third person will join, and all three will be talking with network error/audio delays. Wtf. I use grammarly, so I know my punctuations are okay. No one has ever questioned my punctuations since school, through finishing uni. Even some of the tutorial videos I watched, these people ommited some commas. Wtf. I'll work for hours only for someone to come and give me 2 or 1 after I've done 95% of the work. I use noise cancelling ear piece and force my volume to 150%, so I'm hearing well.

Don't use so, like, (as the faq says), I stopped. But that's when my failing increased.

Please, guru users here, what's your advice? I've read the faq tire. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. At the end they'll send screenshot of faq saying they're a freelance site and don't teach grammar. I'm not the type to give up, but it's annoying be paid for only 2/5 transcriptions I do.

PS. If you notice any punctuation error in what I typed above, pls let me know. Haven't reviewed it, but let me know, please.

I just noticed that the withdrawal icon on PayPal is missing. I'm only seeing "Transfer". I don't know if it's from my side. Those that withdrew recently from PayPal, did ya'all use the "Transfer" icon or was dia withdrawal icon?

Hi guys. So I read the first 10 pages of this thread and decided to register at QA and take their test. I passed and I'm at the training stage. Joined Slack too. Something discouraging I've noticed though is the very low rate of payment. I signed up because it says on the site that pay is $0.2 an audio minute. That's low, to begin with, but I decided to sign up anyway to have it as a backup to another site I'm on.
So you can imagine my surprise when I checked the site and the actual pay is significantly lower. Is this the norm?
