Greatihex: if I create a new account, will I be detected if I submit the same paypal account? Actually, you're expected to create a new account. The Paypal can remain same, it doesn't matter. Just don't use the same Paypal for two different accounts, at the same time. |

Payoneer charges a monthly maintenance fee of $2 or $3. And each bank withdrawal through ATM is $2. |

nwafresh: If we're going to take our proposal to her,
1. What payment method will be the best option and should be adopted by each and every one hustling on that platform?
2. How are we gonna get guys online while presenting our proposal? I suggest QA paying directly to our Nigerian bank account. They will save money and we will also make money. No more $5 paypal fees. If we can get up to 100 Nigerians with our user ID/Contractor ID. We are good to go. Even don't forget we have Nigerians that are SCC on the Platform. (I think) |

foluwaseyi: I agree. Even using paypal sef fit give person high blood pressure. Everytime I get an email from qa or paypal, my heart always skips a bit. Anoda payment alternative and we can rest easy, knowing our money is safe. Make she agree, na im be d koko. She don master thinly veiled insults to a T. And you don master her well. Please having said that. this is time for action. It's time to begin collecting signatures. Once we have enough, we can collectively approach Madam for solution to our collective problem. |

souzadchef: Why are we going to and fro over this Africard Issue??. Until there is a better alternative, we'll keep going to and fro over it. Note there are alternatives, but some are risky (money exchangers) while others are expensive (payoneer, etc.) |

go4success: I've been following this thread for a while for updates on Africard. For those of you hoping that the issue is because of the ongoing upgrades at UBA, that may not be the case. I withdrew money to the card on my Skrill account on Thursday and it worked ( though it usually takes like 48-72 hours unlike PayPal that's fast). Besides, the card is working perfectly for other types of transaction: withdrawal, bill payments etc.
Hustling legitimately in Nigeria has lots of obstacles. Let's keep the spirit up. Hopefully, there will be a solution. I could remember this Africard solution came at a time that I was frustrated with PayPal and almost stopped working for my clients that pay with it.
PayPal is really frustrating. If Skrill and Payoneer can work safely in Nigeria, why can't they? I hear you. I'm thinking, if we're like 100 active Nigerians on QA platform, we can get them to be paying directly to our Nigerian account. After all latinhire.com does it. Meanwhile for side hustle see https://www.nairaland.com/5644245/having-difficult-times-securing-job/12#86800043 |
