or Islamic Names. Allah was promoted to
supreme being status by Muhammad Ibn
Abdullah. Allah was initially just another
deity belonging to the Quraysh clan of
Muhammad's father, whose name was
Abdullah. Muhammad's name existed as
Muhammad centuries before Islam. Bilal,
Kabir, Anas and all other names associated
with Islam predated the Islamic faith, so
they are Arab, Persian, Asiatic names.
The name Muhammad is no more Islamic
than bearing Dele or Niyi. If you adopt these
middel-eastern names, they don't move you
closer to some upstart Allah, they just
further demonstrate your subservience to
Arab culture and history.
