ichidodo: @howmanage.What i spew here is my own concern because one man's verbal trash could be another's golden nuggets. As long as the trash keeps some APC cockroaches in check, i will keep on spraying my insecticides away. Now f**k off
Raggedy_Ann: This is a good step and it's long overdue. The media has been accused of doing "selective" reporting since most of them are owned by people from the West who are by default sympathetic to APC and the Government has therefore been unable to get its positive achievements published. However, every negative allegation makes the front page. The medIa has abandoned Its responsibility therefore the presidency is now forced to do its own reporting. We need to know what's going on. These press briefings are absolutely necessary.
And a rapid response team is needed to respond to allegations made by the opposition as swiftly as possible to prevent the people from feasting on propaganda. Like they said: perception is everything, if the media publishes false allegations and they aren't refuted immediately, they become the perceived truth.
What do you call this preemptive publication by the opposition asking people to disbelieve the yet-to-be released briefings of the presidency chucking it down to propaganda? The details of the briefings aren't known yet but the facts are there, does a reportage of the facts unsettle the opposition so much that they are further planting bias in the minds of the people. There are always two sides to a story: we have already heard from APC.
I am likewise impressed by the info on this leaked document. Good things for the common Nigerian can come out of this if APC develops a similar strategy that does not include anarchy, revolution etc. i want to believe they are up to the task. I would also wish to see APC manifesto on addressing issues like housing, transport, power etc. i am not interested in seeing PDP manifesto as they have had many years to put it into action so its contents are evident on our streets everyday
aventura: One of jonathan's strength as you mentioned is the power if incumbency. It power greater and bigger than anything in this country. The truth is, if Jonathan had contested with rubadu in a neutral ground, he would have been defeated but he used the magnanimous power to his advantage, what is apc going to do about it.
obasanjo is holding series of meeting with wammako as we speak;what makes you think that the likes of anenih are not brainstorming in aso rock?
I read an article recently on the impossibility of impeaching the president i.e it's cumbersome and almost impossible process, how can nass be an effective solution in ousting Jonathan.
Apc must be weary of internal corrupt elements which could be moles in the party. The incoming defection could see moles joining the party to sabotage it's plans.
Finally, should any Nigerian listen to the likes of obj and ibb. They be close to you, but let's not forget the deceptive and foxy nature of this men.
jmaine: You still sound hopeless trying to defend the sham OP. you just exposed yourself and intent here.
I have no intention to hide my opinions.... I replied to this topic with the intention to sympathize with someone who believes they have been threatened. Nothing wrong with that. Your approach is very bullying but I am sure you are aware of that, perhaps that is your intent. Every Nairalander is entitled to express their opinion, what is frustrating is when someone doesnt agree and then resorts to insults , derisory comments or bullying tactics. Its very low level communication
Chubhie: All I see is a man who threatens the Federal Republic with anarchy if his party losses the next elections. The near perfected act of deception and propaganda employed by APC won't be sufficient enough to stop GEJ.
It is on record that GEJ was threaten with making the Republic ungovernable which they did with boko during the last elections.
I pray that relevant agencies are on alert to nip any of such occurrence in the bud.
We already said upthread that the threats are unpalatable
. If you say anything negative about the government there is a team on ground that will respond swiftly. These include social, print and electronic media.
Interesting. Looks like bolded is already in action on NL.....
well with all this exposé the opposition should be ready with a counter strategy.
jmaine: i can obtain your mail while sending a pm to you if replied on nairaland.
.
Now thats worrying . To the op , i hope you are able to get to the bottom of this though i doubt it with things being as they are. I hope you are undeterred by threats and continue to do what you do. Free speech and opposition is healthy for a democracy and i think its genius that the politicians (yourself, sincere9gerian etc) are reaching out using various media. Communication is still going on despite the noisemaking insults and unhelpful comments.
Hope the NL site admins look into this supposed email giveaway via PMs.
jmaine: Stop sounding dull, whoever sent him a pm on nairaland will be revealed to him including the email of the sender.
Scam-Jones desperate antics just gave him away.
What a funny episode.
No need to be insulting son. Nope thats not how pm works on other forums. You dont see each others emails. I also didnt read the he was pm'd, he said email. If it was a pm then he should have the handle of whoever sent it and can tell us
luvmijeje: GEJ. Playing politics with our lives is not acceptable.
With this statement, I don't want to believe you are speaking for APC .
For crying out loud! You already have info that Jonathan wants to rig the damn election ,by now you guys should be finding ways to checkmate him Without circumventing the law.
APC should be careful not to set the wrong precedent. They should remember the law of sowing.
All these insults ! How about this - if you dont believe or care cramjones was threatened dont comment at all , and if you do sympathize with cramjones then make your comment... The cramjones haters are only making themselves appear very callous.
Cramjones, is it possible your email was obtained via NL,? If so that's quite worrying
Its making me smile how happy our Igbo brothers feel at this news. I have watched some threads with despair over the past few days but this rejoicing is a cheerful thing. You can really feel the love and honour being expressed for Yoruba culture
Veteran music producer OJB Jezreel openly calls Kokomaster Dbanj out in a recent post-surgery interview with Inspiration FM's Gloria Maduka.
In this interview he talked about the controversy surrounding his donations and revealed celebs used it as competition........,
.
"The shocking ones are not even the bounced cheques. It's the ones that when they are coming to meet you in the house to give you money, they come with a whole camera crew. Then they will say I'm donating one million naira to you and the cameras start recording and maybe the guy's tape stops, and he says let's take that again (Laughs).
"There were people in my dialysis that I gave N100k each to pay for their dialysis, we didn't publicise it, we didn't take photos with them, because I felt that was unnecessary."
Disfellowshiping helps keep the congregation clean.
Satan was sent out of heaven to keep it clean, so, the congregation has to be kept clean, and the bible supports it and the congregation is to be protected also.
What that is not supproted is your own personal opinion.
Your kind of opinion is why christianity has turned to houses of prostitutes today.
Were you told that it is all kind of people that must enter the kingdom of God ?
Your opinion does not count, but rather what is written in the bible counts, or, do you have biblical evidences for your stance ?
Yes, christ asked for forgiveness, but unrepentant sinners are to be sent out, and that is what the bible teaches.

I can’t stand men that don’t stand for anything and will easily fall for anything.
The popularisation of the Social Media has given rise to a number of emergency activists in recent time. From Facebook to twitter, these pretenders are there, taking advantage of the public mood, pretending to be on the side of the masses. If Dino ‘Mike Tyson’ Melaye thought we had forgotten how he was captured on live TV shamelessly punching a woman co-member of the lower chamber just two years ago, then we can forgive Femi Fani-Kayode for suddenly finding his voice as a freelance activist. After all, it’s been more than five years that he has lost his national relevance and eagerly needs attention again. Malam Nasir el-Rufai, even if ahead of these fellows in terms of performance while in office, also needs to watch his twitter activities as his needless attacks on the current administration is becoming boring and worn out, and even in unmoderated cyberspace, decency calls for moderation.
But while the above mentioned emergency activists’ activities are more on the social media, Momodu, in addition to his thoughtless twitter postings, also has a formal medium, his Saturday column in Thisday, to himself to lecture us on governance and people. Until recently, Momodu hardly wrote on politics. His turf is entertainment and I have no business with that – that is his choice. Week in, week out, if Momodu is not praising Ghana, he is entertaining us with how he sat in the fourth row in Michael Jackson’s burial service, how he spoke with Mike Adenuga the night before, how he visited MKO Abiola in London, how he visited Siberia or Djibouti, how he fought during the Liberia war, or how he owned a Limousine. But the few times Momodu’s pendulum swings to politics and political economy, one wonders whether he would not have done better staying in his entertainment and photography turf.....blah blah blah...

Why can't people write rebuttals without being insulting/derogatory to the author? He wrote his article telling us the way he feels about the Lamido guy, you write your article telling us the way you feel about the fellow without throwing punches at the previous author ... Stick to the subject matter , in this case Samido Lanusi or whatever he is called Makes for much better reading
texanomaly: I'm sorry, but I have got to say something here. If you don't like what is going on, stop belly aching about it, and do something! Otherwise sit down and...
Do you even vote? Nothing burns me up more than someone who sits around and complains, but does not attempt to do something about the problems. You say Nigeria is a disgrace to humanity, yet don't say why, or even attempt to come up with solutions to said problems. People like you are a part of the problem. Make no mistake about that! Get up off your azz, and do something instead of sitting here complaining about it.
Before am a politician am a family and business man.
I wouldnt destroy a well built future for something am not sure will work out well.
Just take a look at these, nigeria is divided among religious line. If it is not religion it would be tribe.
Even among the igbos there is hate among themselves, so if the country should disintegrate it might just solve one problem among the various region. But will create a thousand internal problems among the various regions and tribes.
I wouldn't go as far as stating bolded . Its quite some rose tinted glasses that would see "well built" projected in Nigeria's future as it is.Personally though I dream of a Yorubaland on its own(I know we would be fine) , I would prefer to give the Sovereign National Conference a go if it means we remain as Nigeria with autonomous regions.
maclatunji: I did not start the comparison, the proponents of secession did. I am only referencing them. Save your lectures for them.
I am pratical when it comes to politics and would rather have control/influence over millions of people and their resources than be forced to have fewer resources, have to probably fight them and accept millions of them as refugees.
You accuse Texanomaly of being out of touch with the Nigerian reality. She is better than you in this regard because you are obviously arrogant and ignorant of the dynamics within Nigeria- a country you have hardly lived in. You are very subjective, Texanomaly can be objective because she has no vested interests.
Lots of non nigerians are interested in the nigeria question for their own reasons so it may not be accurate to say she has no vested interest.
Alfa Seltzer: It really annoys me when white people that caused this problem in the first place think they know better than us how we should live our lives.
Bonga4: FFK or CRAMJONES, as is now your favorite NAIRALAND ID, see how you are shamelessly trying to promote your worthless stinking self. .....
You know what? I think he is sending an important message using these pictures to someone he cannot ordinarily reach. Maybe there is more evidence are many more pictures where these came from
You are not Burn again I dont trust you. Yorubas dont trust you. See all these people they truss Tinubu they are ready to dead because of Tinubu
We dont truss you, You just sitdown in Canada phocking white puszy why are you not come back home. Ile baba ki ba omo leru. Are you afraiding of your fatherlands?
See people are suffers in Nigeria, they waiting for you for over 7yrs Musiwa our Messiah is not come, He prefer to stay in Canada and enjoy white Puszy. See ordinary Nigerian cant afford white puszy see Terry G he use mannequin because he cannot afford it
But you our leader dey enjoy. You are not different from Jonathan and IBB. I am dissapoint.
musiwa112: tinubu and obasanjo are not yoruba people -- musiwa
tinubu real name ahmed magaji, northerner names..
obasanjo mean nothing in yorubaland.. where he claim he comes from.. egba people dont bear obasanjo.. there is no other yoruba person that bear obasanjo.. oba can not sanjo..
In igbo, someone on nairaland said it mean pour it inside her to cover your shame.
. Before we can believe anything you say, you have to first clarify who you are
Smooyis: Nigerians. Stop taking sides with these politicians. Let us rejoice that their centre of gravity can no longer hold. Let us rejoice that their corrupt and wicked house of leadership is now dividing to the glory of God and benefit of Nigerians and the world in general. Let's be wise and count it real joy that politics in Nigeria may never be like before again. The present storm will ultimately sweep away all the wicked leaders in Nigeria and expose all the filths they have perpetrated or planning to. Let us look beyond our ethnic or religious horizon and see the hand of God at work. God bless Nigeria
