extend the deepest sympathies to Momodu. The man’s soul has vanished, yet he writes this shameless piece to announce to the entire world that his soul has not died but that he merely sold it. ![]() |
ola_pluto: Suddenly after Ekiti elections, PDP claiming to be saints and trying to demonise Tinubu. Some even dare to question Tinubu's performance as a governor in Lagos, saying he didnt do anything. |
Obiagelli: my brother, it's sickening reading those posts, the sad part is most of these people sufferthe most from this same pdp policies. Sometimes i wonder if Africans and democracy can work together. autocracy suits some africans better. Choice confuses them |
wellmax: I still love Tinubu, nobody has been a vocal voice for opposition as he is. |
Nafeesa AA: Someone wrote thisthis is also my suspicion |
oduastates: Everybody know that the jonathan led military is boko haram's quartermaster.CORRECT |
beremole: One minute he is clueless and weak, the next he is a dictator.nah... He's not clueless. Or weak.... |
xtervaganza: Mr self respect seeking African......Be all that as it may, a racist comment is a racist comment. Suarez is racist. People have different strategies for dealing with racism (eg Dani Alves) but denying it is never the wise choice. Thats the coward and self hating way Well, at least when/if you have a son at whom such a comment is directed, you can puff up your chest , hold your head up high and tell him thats a normal comment in Uruguay/Norway/Spain/Czech Republic/Take your pick . That way you won't have to deal with it..... |
Specialist900: I feel for him tho.no need. You can't keep a good man down. He will move on to greater things , not necessarily politics |
seydam21: Guys i am playing FIFA Pro 2014 where do i press so that Suarez can bitethis made me laugh out loud!!! Oh lawd, nice one! ![]() |
xtervaganza: Suarez is not a racist, only evra is a c&nt.Really? Guess you know more than the football association After an incident which occurred on 15 October 2011 during a game of football between fierce rivals Liverpool and Manchester United. Liverpool's Luis Suárez was charged with, and found guilty of, racially abusing United's Patrice Evra, and was fined £40,000 and banned for 8 games. because its "normal" in Suarez culture doesn't make it less racist It amazes me when black people support such disgusting behaviour, and typically its random Africans shrugging off racially disrespectful attitudes to people of African origin. What does this say about their self respect ![]() |
publicenemy: FiFA was wrong to give luis suarez such a hefty ban, they obviously succombed to pressure from the british media who are pissed because luis suarez elliminated them from the world cup. They have been screaming for FIFA to come down hard on Suarez and FIFA did and this is a shame on FIFA.. Mr Suárez said that he replied to Mr Evra's question "Why did you kick me?" by saying "que habia sido una falta normal", meaning "it was just a normal foul". He said he shrugged his shoulders and put his arms out in a gesture to say that there was nothing serious about it. At this point on the video footage Mr Suárez's face is obscured but he does appear to shrug his shoulders. Mr Suárez said that he replied to Mr Evra's question "Why did you kick me?" by saying "que habia sido una falta normal", meaning "it was just a normal foul". He said he shrugged his shoulders and put his arms out in a gesture to say that there was nothing serious about it. At this point on the video footage, Mr Suárez's face is obscured but he does appear to shrug his shoulders. Mr Evra said that he followed up Mr Suárez's reply "Because you are black" by saying "Habla otra vez asi, te voy a dar una porrada", which means "Say it to me again, I'm going to punch you". Mr Suárez replied by saying "No hablo con los negros". Mr Evra said that, at the time, he understood this to mean "I don't speak to niggers", although he now says it means "I don't speak to blacks". Mr Suárez's evidence was that Mr Evra replied to the comment "it was just a normal foul" by saying "OK, you kicked me, I'm going to kick you". Mr Suárez said in his witness statement that his response was "Le dije que se callara e hice un gesto breve con mi mano izquierda parecido a la mocion de un "pato cuando hace cuac" para indicarle que hablaba mucho y deberia callarse", which was translated as "I told him to shut up and made a brief gesture with my left hand like a "quacking" motion as if to say he was talking too much and should be quiet". Mr Evra said that after Mr Suárez said "I don't speak to blacks", he (Mr Evra) said "Ahora te voy a dar realmente una porrada", which means "OK, now I think I'm going to punch you". To this he says that Mr Suárez replied "Dale, negro...negro...negro". At the time Mr Evra understood this to mean "OK, nigger, nigger, nigger". He now says it means "OK, blackie, blackie, blackie". The expert witnesses stated that the phrase "Dale, negro" can be understood as "Bring it on, blackie" or "do it, blackie" or "go ahead, blackie". Mr Evra said that as Mr Suárez was speaking he reached out to touch Mr Evra's arm, gesturing at his skin. Mr Evra said that Mr Suárez was drawing attention to the colour of Mr Evra's skin. This gesture is clearly shown on the video footage, just as Mr Kuyt comes between them. It seemed to us that Mr Suárez reached out and pinched Mr Evra's left forearm. In cross-examination Mr Evra said that at the time he did not realise that Mr Suárez had pinched his arm. He was more focused on his lips and what he was saying. ....etc etc etc the guy's a cannibal and a fucking racist , all of you that are supporting him. |
Sagamite: Don't mind the person!isn't it curious how certain some people were that no girls had been kidnapped? Doesn't it make you wonder if those same people have (prior) knowledge on the horrors going on in Nigeria? Were they caught out this time because this horror was one they had no previous info on? Curiouser still that it took the usual suspects ("BH" ) about a week or two (about the time it became glaring to even the doubters) to "own" the deed? Hmmmmmmmmmmmm......... Nigerians please open your eyes. Sukumus iranmus |
siraj1402: Its never your fault but fault of those nuisance who hide under the Islam to perpetrate evils.Remember Islam has been in this country before president Jonathan was elected. Also remember Jonathan is not the first Christian president. Why not look at this issue with a broad view and remember Muslim are among the dead and wounded. Just today, heavy bombs was planted at a central mosque in Kaduna, imagine if that should happen.I'm a Muslim and I still have strong believe that our government are not sincere with us and I pray that those hidden under Islam to act as boko haram will never taste sweetness in this life.Put sentiment aside,Islam is not a strange religion let's ask our government to tell us the truth about boko haram.i agree but what i can't understand is why more people haven't come out to call a spade a spade. It is becoming glaring that there is more to this situation than meets the eye at first. |
sheddyboy: Imagine a world without islam, what a peaceful world, NO ISLAM NO CRY!!!.i don't believe this is about islam anymore. These are sponsored attacks by people desiring to divide this country and they are not necessarily muslim or even northern. That video left me feeling empty, Nigeria is truly on the brink. GEJ is sleeping on the job and culpable. His smartest deception is making so many Nigerians think of him as clueless. He is not clueless, he is sinister. His responses, reactions and priorities make him a suspect in the horrors we are witnessing in Nigeria. GEJ j'accuse! |
Orlando Owoh: Somebody stole it.ah.... Sorry o. I was about following it. Thank God i did not |
MissMeiya: Even the Americans who commented on the article, who know nothing about Nigerian politicians were saying he was full of it. All of the comments were calling him a liar.please could you post the link to the article? Thanks |
Psychodavidovic: Voting won't change Nigeria.this i have also come to understand ![]() |
sholay2011: I doubt it's her.nairaland and intrigue i think the same thing might have happened to Orlando Owoh / Yorutsekiri ![]() |
Orlando Owoh: Onye ju gi ajuju?. I'm confused. I thought these 2 were the same person ![]() |
I was getting excited about change in Nigeria. Ekiti situation reminded to wake up plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose , the more things change, the more they stay the same |
That nose.... ![]() |
Nice thread http://youtu.be/xIR60SGqDHc Oriki Oyo How to post youtube video please? |
ImperialYoruba: Lmao. We made Ijaw a competition for you to dilute your superiority in the East. To achieve anything tangible in your land we subdued your political relevance and made Ijaw your champion. Is that not enough to make you realize we own you?Wow! This is unfair... |
silentc: Thank you for responding. I appreciate it. I am surely of the opinion that you are FFK as you did not respond in the typical manner i see here (with insults). While you have made valid points, I have to counter and say that the alleged money stolen is not for lack of wanting by previous governments. I do not believe that any other president in the past would have done different if they had the opportunity that GEJ has as per the details in terms of $1.5 billion a day. I honestly do not think any past and potential future president of Nigeria would not do the same. These are my feelings too especially the bolded. It will be business as usual whichever party wins, so although my vote will be for APC it will not be because I believe there will be much change in the way Nigerians do business sadly. And so I will vote according to where I believe my interests most likely will lie |
Hahahahaa very funny thread op, . But i sense a political bias ![]() |
creazor: You need to reassess your statments and stop being a tribalist.Nature abhors a vacuum, any vacuums created in a reconstructed Nigeria would be filled locally... |
jmaine: This thread is about his notable and irrefutable achievements while you went off course referring to an utterance in a town hall meeting which to me doesn't hold water if his performance is taken into considerations.Off course or not its my opinion after reading this thread on GEJ achievements. Are people only allowed to post on the thread if the posts are pleasing to you? Also I am not trying to influence anyone, as you seem to have missed it earlier I will say it again- " my personal opinion" |
jmaine: All I read is your stealth tribal bias. What we are concerned is his preference in developmental strides and not what he said in a town hall meeting to appease the emotional side of his strong and vocal backers. . . .I made my stance pretty clear albeit without insults or mudslinging, where is the stealth in that? As to tribal bias, you say that as though its unheard of in Nigeria, GEJ himself used 'tribal bias' in that 'town hall meeting'..... Anyway, you have your vote and I have mine ![]() |
If we had lists like this compiled for other administrations then we could compare like for like. However even the compilation of this is impressive to me and many others. Perhaps we are naive. But i wouldn't vote for GEJ simply because he appears not to have my interests at heart. This is what politics is about, you vote for who has your interests as his goals. GEJ publicly has stated his preference of one group of Nigerians over the others and could not be expecting that the others would willingly back him, although some will but I wouldn't for a second term. If he is so brazen about his preferences in his first term, there is no telling what is to come in a second term. My personal opinion |
