Car Talk › Re: Why Are Canadian Used Cars Cheaper Than American Used Cars? by HRtechnique: 11:04am On Aug 29, 2019 |
HRtechnique: Me disciple of Gazzuzz. I laugh. I have been avoiding to mention what I am about to say.
Apart from the fact that Gazzuzz vehicles is slightly expensive, if I can afford it (of which I cant currently), I will rather buy my car from him rather than all of the other greedy sellers here. I will buy peace of mind and a knowledge of the state of the vehicle. Apart from this, his cars are a little higher than normal but you will get value for your money. FACT 1.
Apart from Oluwaseunla (In my perspective), I dont care what anyone else thinks (It is my opinion), Gazzuzz is the next best mechanic you will ever get anywhere in Lagos. This is almost the truth and we all know that. FACT 2.
However, I am not a friend to Gazzuzz but I know him personally. He uses sir for me when we meet and he will not also hesitate to be blunt to your face. He is a mixture of humility and "pride in oneself". I dont know the right word to combine those two. Maybe its not a negative pride. FACT 3.
Lastly, I judge that Gazzuzz thread was a marketing strategy. Afterall, no one feeds him and he is a man of himself and he is free to post anything he likes as long as its not on another persons thread but for me, the truth is; I do not completely like the fact that he created the thread but like I said in my first post, "I am not a mind reader and I do not know his intention". FACT 4.
Appearance is different from reality guys.
I AM NEVER AND WILL NEVER BE ANYONE'S DISCIPLE. Just to add, any vehicle you want to buy, the rational thing to do is to pay for PPI by a professional. Nothing is cast in stone. Ignore all the aspersions. |

obekediamondfuto: I totally agree.... it must return to its original form same way everything dies (science will fix this issue soon)
just that some conditions might accelerate the death in some organisms..... as for me and my household..... as long as there is transparency, anyone should be allowed to buy whatever he/she is buying...
rust oh, rolled back mileage, Indians, Mexicans, South Africans etc the buyer should be informed.
There is a Service Management model that can use this case as an ideal scenario.
RACI in offering service - in this case - facilitating a sale between two parties, someone needs to be
Responsible for the sale: In this case it is the mediator that is totally responsible to make sure the sale is perfected Ie terms and agreements must be strategic and favour both parties.
Accountable for the sale: so many people are to be held accountable for this sale at the different phases in the sale.... the trucking company, the shipping company, the clearing agent, the buyer, the seller etc
Consulted about the purchase: especially if the buyer(end user) of the product is not an expert in such matters.
Informed about the sale: In this case, the buyer(end user) is responsible for being informed. If he chooses not to be informed about the specification (brand, model, cylinder configurations, gasoline or diesel, functional in desired area of usage etc) then its totally his fault if it doesn't meet his utility needs.
in many cases, the buyer and seller fill in these positions.
also in terms of comparison as regards this thread.... A rusted vehicle can be many times better than a clean title vehicle vehicle that was badly maintained.....
as for the pricing, I'm not a car dealer but those who are authorities in that field can assist us with intelligent arguments not seeing it as a war and siding one person or the other Now this is very FACT based and logical. |
Car Talk › Re: Why Are Canadian Used Cars Cheaper Than American Used Cars? by HRtechnique: 6:58pm On Aug 28, 2019 |
Let me be very objective:
I am not concerned about the intent of this thread because I dont know. However, both the US + Canadian cars are not rust free. It largely depends on location.
Even in Canada, it depends on where you live, where you ply and what measures the car owner have put in place to protect rust.
The end of the story is that; "Before you buy any car whatsoever, please PROPERLY inspect" |

Most people were ready to bite you. Most people love what Amdman is doing and wouldnt like anything that appears negative on the thread. Humane car dealers are rare and so people are ready to protect him at all cost. Just let him do his dealings --- I also follow your threads and I knew you didnt say what you said from a negative view. You were just trying to clarify. --- Gazzuzz is unfortunately or maybe "fortunately" known to be too blunt or direct without emotions so I am sure he meant no harm. Afterall he is your guy. |

CruiseControl: For the past 3 months, I have been browsing Nairaland and car shops in Lagos for a good car but have found none.
Reason being that MOST NIGERIANS ARE OUTRIGHTLY WICKED, HEARTLESS AND CALLOUS.
Honestly, Cosplay have helped open my eyes to a lot going on in the auto world. From Ikorodu road down to Agidingbi, all of them are selling outright dead cars Wholely repackaged as clean title!
I have been using cosplay method to catch a whole lot of them.
My anger with them is not even about selling accidented or flooded cars. No. My anger is... WHY SELL IT AS CLEAN TITLE? AT SAME PRICE IF NOT EVEN HIGHER? MAY GOD HELP US.
Please am tired of searching But not desperate though.
cc
Gazzuzz Cosplay We are in same boat. Since May. Oluwaseunla was the one that opened my eyes. Although budget was initially small as a family man. Had 1.2 now I have added more cash for Tokunbo and it's difficult. Dealer will ask a buyer to come to Egbeda for a vehicle they have not seen only to get there and discover engine dey cough. They often say the seller is my cousin, my brother, my uncle... He wants to upgrade... business reasons. Sometimes, ABS don spoil, speedometer no dey work... odometer rolled back... accidented cars and dem go still dey proud like say na favour. Greedy unrepentant fellows. Thanks to Carguide. At a time, he started to pity me but it's best you pay that 2k to save greater cost. Getting a good car is costly. If you don't have it yet, there is no shame. Save more. I recommend Oluwaseunla for your inspection. Very human with his approach and dealings. Inspection costs some cash but worth it. I wish I can mention the rubbish car dealers here but I'm not the type. DO NOT EVER LISTEN TO ALL THEIR LIES. DO YOUR OWN CHECK WITH A SOUND MECHANIC. IF THEY RUSH YOU OR BEHAVE DISRESPECTFUL, MOVE ON. IF YOU HAVE CASH, YOU WILL FIND ONE SOON. Wish you the best. |

Good job OP. There are a lot of greedy dealers in the country and I hope that like the few good ones, you also fare well in your business.
There are cult-like car dealers here on NL and they have come a long way so I can understand if they mention and quote themselves.
One thing however is that; if you are not buying why are you prying? Leave the thread for interested folks. |
