Nairalanders, I am interested in starting an E-waste management or recycling business in Nigeria. Nigeria being a dumping ground for obsolette mobile phones, computers, etc, is a good place for this sort of business. Profits apart, the environmental benefits are numerous. However, i am constrained by the fact that i know precious little on how to commence. Is there anyone on this forum with similar interest, who is also quite knowlegeable on this topic? Waiting for responses, please. Thank you. |

@poster, Instead of sweating on this issue, why not ask the guy what his intentions are? Afterall, if the mountain will not come to Mohammed, then Mohammed will go to the mountain. This approach will save you a lot of hassles. All the best! |

Shalom! @ poster, Anything goes in a corrupt land. Even strangers can maltreat sons of the soil. Do not expect miracles because there really is no government in Nigeria. No government that really cares. What we have is a group of vagabonds in power (apologies to Fela Anikulapo-Kuti of blessed memory). Until Nigeria decides to wake up to assume its true heritage, until the giant decides to topple, crush and discard the blemishes currently enjoying protected positions, so long shall we continued to be humiliated in our fatherland.
