Fucking hell

No worries.
Ma Orange dudes will fight back.
U r about to see the most breath-taking game yet seen on TV.
The Dutch will now burn the Portugese like kraaaaaayzie.

SportsRe: Portugal vs Holland: Germany 2006 Second Round by hucarson(m): 8:19pm On Jun 25, 2006
@ j-gal,
Holland is already strangling the Portugese.
Robben's electrifying runs will surely produce a penalty or various free-kicks.
SportsRe: Portugal vs Holland: Germany 2006 Second Round by hucarson(m): 8:17pm On Jun 25, 2006
Game on.
I don't wanna hear any of ur cries after 90 minutes.
Ok?
SportsRe: Portugal vs Holland: Germany 2006 Second Round by hucarson(m): 8:14pm On Jun 25, 2006
Of course, FIFA cares.
Even the shorts and socks are all taken into consideration.
U can never see 2 teams playing wearing the same colour of socks and shorts in a match.

As for the bet, Letz say we start with 1000 credits each in our pockets.
We stake 100 credits each on every bet and if i run out of credits before the end of the tournament then u win.
U copy?
SportsRe: England Vs Germany: World Cup 2006 by hucarson(m): 8:09pm On Jun 25, 2006
I dont care as long as they win.
Its better a team plays crap and they win than playing to the gallery and lose.
P.S. England conceeded 2 goals against Sweden.
SportsRe: Portugal vs Holland: Germany 2006 Second Round by hucarson(m): 8:05pm On Jun 25, 2006
@j-girl
They r in white because the Dutch's Orange will clash with the Portugese's purple shirts.
FIFA try as much as possible to let teams wear contrasting shirts for the sake of people suffering from colour blindness. cheesy

U don't really need money to bet.
We can just create imaginary credits on our own and we bet with it.
If i win. then your credits are added to mine and vice versa.
At the end of the world cup we will see who has taken more from one another.
U game?
SportsRe: England Vs Germany: World Cup 2006 by hucarson(m): 7:55pm On Jun 25, 2006
England will demolish the Germans.
Germany hasn't been tested yet.
They have played wack-ass teams all through.
I dont really see the Germans getting past countries like Argentina, Holland, Brazil or even Ivory Coast.
Germany to be eliminated in their next match.
SportsRe: Portugal vs Holland: Germany 2006 Second Round by hucarson(m): 7:51pm On Jun 25, 2006
@ j-gal,
Holland will win this.
The Orange Boys have enuff quality to win this match.
Robben will terrorise the portugese and Ruud will add some extra quality to the attack tonight.
It's gonna be tight but i trust Holland to outplay the Portugese.

U can stake a bet wiv me.
Put ur money where ur mouth is.

mukina2,
R u sure John Terry is the MOTM?
In ma opinion, he played shhit today and his error cld have proved costly for England when he headed backwards.
I think Michael Carrick, David Beckham or Rooney should have been named the MOTM.
SportsRe: Portugal vs Holland: Germany 2006 Second Round by hucarson(m): 7:43pm On Jun 25, 2006
Holland to win this.
I love Ruud and Van Der Sar wiv all ma heart.
Cristiano Ronaldo will be gutted tonight but i want tha Orange Boyz to win this one cos Portugal robbed 'em in EURO 2004.
Its pay-back time.

U must be dead-drunk to think France will kick spain out of this world cup.
France struggled against Togo for almost 60-70 mins and thatz hard to take.
The Spaniards will kill France off and i cannot wait to see Torres and Joaquin making a meal outta Gallas and Thuram.
My Verdict: Spain 3-1 France.
SportsRe: Ghana Vs Brazil: Germany 2006 Second Round Fixture by hucarson(m): 4:03pm On Jun 24, 2006
Brazil 5-0 Ghana.
There's no controversy about this.
Brazil will beat Ghana even if Ghana seeks the help of all other African players to beef its team up.
Brazil will kick asses and only a team like Argentina, Italy and Holland can stop Brazil in their strides.
SportsRe: Les Bleus: France A Disgrace So Far by hucarson(m): 3:52pm On Jun 24, 2006
@ Kitaun,
Ain't u ashamed of urself?
Coming here to say France played well against which team? Togo?
Enyimba of Aba will beat Togo convincingly so don't use that as a yard-stick.
Spain is going to be an acid test for France so lets see what happens in that match.
If France cannot beat Togo i wonder who France will beat.

@ debosky and mukina2,
If Henry cannot score against Togo then SHAME on him.

France played extremely well yesterday, Vieira + Trezeguet were simply outstanding.
Its a bit foggy to judge France based on that performance cos Togo aint a competition at all.
I wanna see the french square up against Spain. Its gonna be juicy.
SportsRe: The Formidable Group F in Germany-(all Salute!) by hucarson(m): 9:04am On Jun 23, 2006
Ghana can as well pack their bags and jet to Accra.
A walk-over result will be much better than Brazil thumping 'em 6-0.
I forsee lotta fouls that will lead to yellow/red cards for Essien and Appiah.
Brazil will let Ghana play but trust Robinho-Ronaldo and Ronaldinho to crack the Ghananian's defence with ease.
My Verdict: Brazil 5-0 Ghana.

@ debosky,
Arsenal fans will always cook up theories to save Henry's butt.
I cannot believe u think Zidane undermines Henry's performance.
Lets not forget Zidane did not feature in the 1st 2 games at the last world cup. What did Henry make out of it? Nuthing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Its not about tactics my friend. Its all about discipline and hard work.
Henry is a national deception and it bugs me when people think he deserves to be named world footballer of the year.
He does not even deserve to be named French player of the year with his shambolic performance.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Why Is Thierry Henry Mediocre In Major Tournaments? by hucarson(m): 11:46am On Jun 22, 2006
U reckon?
Henry must prove that to me in this on-going mundial that he is the best.
France should hold Henry responsible if they fail to make the second round because he would have constituted himself a national deception.
Thierry Henry cannot continue to deceive the whole populace of France every time he wears the blue shirt. This deception must stop.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Why Is Thierry Henry Mediocre In Major Tournaments? by hucarson(m): 10:29am On Jun 22, 2006
Rijkaard offered Arsenal £50m for a 29 yr old Henry?
Pls. stop mis-informing the public. The £50m u read about were just speculations and was never confirmed.
Henry has no 2nd hand value and no one will offer £50m for a commodity like that. Get that into ur greasy heads.

Dont let us shy away from the topic.
Henry's performances for France has been disappointing by Henry's own standards at the Premiership. He always struggle to make impact in games outside the Premiership.
Lets forget about building teams around him or around Zizou.
Henry panics at the big stage.
End of story.

@ Kitaun,
Its so unfortunate that u actually pulled me back into this saga. I am a man of ma words and i'm gon' make u a scape-goat to teach u and other fcukeries some lessons.
What makes u feel ur age makes u more intelligent than me? Going by ur theory, I think Methuselah must be the most intelligent man in the world.
Why don't cha go to religious houses to preach RESPECT? How many times do u want to be told that peopz r free to post on this thread irrespective of age, sex, religion and race?
Its obvious ur imbecility has beclouded ur senses and u suffer a strange illness diagnosed as Diarrhoea of the mouth. This is why ur mouth's been running endlessly like a stream of sh1t.

The dictionary defines intelligence as the capacity to acquire and apply knowledge and i think u r miles away from this quality.
Ya comments are too watery and dull it sometimes makes me think u are simply too weak-minded to co-ordinate ur senses together. U remind me of a mongolian idiot.
I don't care how old u are, buster. Let ur age speak for itself and stop displaying ur sheer stupidity on NL.
U r just a waste of space and a worthless human-mutt.

I'm gon' stick with the 2nd thought.

U r now on ma radar and one more sound from u will make me detach u surgically.
Ya heard?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Why Is Thierry Henry Mediocre In Major Tournaments? by hucarson(m): 4:06pm On Jun 21, 2006
@ Kitaun,
It annoys me when grown-ups like u cannot differentiate between goal ratio and the number of goals scored.
Arsenal fans are predominantly soccer illiterates and its people like u that make up the figures.
If player A scores 10 goals in 20 matches and player B scored 8 goals in 11 matches. Which of the 2 players is more deadly?
I know a mutt like u will choose A because in your eyes 10 is more than 8. grin grin grin.
Henry joined the Premiership in 1999 and Ruud joined in 2001 so how do u expect Ruud to outscore Henry when Henry has got 2 seasons start ahead of Ruud.

** Van Nistelrooy scored 44 goals in 2002/03 season to win the Premiership's golden boot and Champions league's golden boot.
Henry has never scored 40 goals in a season ever before and he has not won UEFA's golden boot ever before.
Ruud is the 1st player in the Premiership to score in 8 consecutive league matches.
Ruud is a goal machine. Henry cannot match the dutchman's wizardry and knack of goal-scoring.

Did u say Henry supercedes Ruud in the total number of goals scored for their respective countries?
I am now very sure u don't know what you're talking about.
Ruud has scored 28 goals in just 53 matches for Holland.(more than 0.5)
Henry has scored 35 goals in 80 matches for France.(less than 0.5)
Do the math. Who is the deadliest amongst the 2 strikers?
I will implore u to always check your stats and research before preaching heresy on Nairaland.
grin grin grin

Shevchenko is the leading all time goal scorer in UEFA. He has scored 51 goals and he is now tied with Raul Gonzalez but the player that scored the most recent goal are always placed above the other whenever there is a tie which makes Sheva the top scorer.

grin grin grin
Very Funny.
Arsenal looking ordinary without Henry simply means Arsenal is a shhit club.
Let Henry go to Barcelona or Milan and letz see if they will look ordinary without Henry.
Each player in Arsenal's 1st 11 players are always missed because Arsenal has a very small squad.
Arsenal can only boast of 13 good players and hence no competition to fight for shirts.
Virtually all the players on Chelsea's bench will feature week in-week out if they play for Arsenal.

Henry's 33 goals in 79 games for France is still woeful. Yekini's record is better than that.
Dont compare Okocha n Kanu to Henry.
Okocha is a midfielder. How do u expect him to get many goals like a striker?
Suker and Stoichkov did not go to the 2002 world cup. Dont blaspheme.
Comparing Diouf and Etoo to Henry even makes it worse. Can u compare France's team quality to Senegal or Cameroon?
Diouf/Etoo in Henry's shoes in the french team will score at least 4-6 goals at the last world cup.

Talking about Gerd Muller. Those were the days of traditional football formation.
Defences were more porous. No complicated offside rule like we have now so goals flow freely.
Pele scored more than 1000 goals in his career. Isn't that ridiculous.
Henry + Ruud + Shevchenko + Raul + Ronaldo together will struggle to make 1000 goals so it shows u cannot really reckon with Gerd Muller's comic record.

Henry scoring a hatrick?
I have got a better chance to become the President of the United States.
On a second thought, he might score a hatrick if and only if France plays Sunderland FC or West Brom at the world cup.
Henry has never scored from any of Zidane's slide rule passes shows Henry lacks the bite when it comes to playing for France.
Hatrick ma ass. grin
SportsRe: Germany 2006: Who Will Win The World Cup? by hucarson(m): 5:12pm On Jun 17, 2006
Argentina leads the group in terms of the performances seen so far.
Some countries will get better as they progress while some will wither away.
Brazil, Holland, Italy, Portugal and Czech Republic will also go far.
SportsRe: Group E: The Group Of Elites. by hucarson(op): 5:08pm On Jun 17, 2006

France could not break an under-dog like Switzerland so lets give Rosicky his respect.
Czech Republic will do well in this tournament.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Why Is Thierry Henry Mediocre In Major Tournaments? by hucarson(m): 4:51pm On Jun 17, 2006
@ Christino.
Kanu and Okocha are not top strikers. Be that as it may, the 2 players have both represented Nigeria well in youth football and national team.
Nwankwo Kanu was named the player of the tournament at Atlanta 96. He has been named african footballer of the year twice.
Henry hasn't even won the european player, let alone win the world player.
How many goals would u expect an Okocha or Kanu to score in a tournament compared to Agahowa/Ikpeba/Martins?
Henry is a striker so much is expected from him. Your comparison is horrendous and dud.
No one is trying to single Henry out but the Premiership is the only place where he can thrive.
I believe a good striker should prove his worth in anywhere on God's green earth.
He has never won any other golden boot apart from the premiership and u dare compare him to RUUD who scores freely in any competition.
Dutch League, Champions League, Premiership, European Cup are places where Ruud has proven he is better than Henry.
In 94, Romario and Baggio still scored 5 goals each as against Oleg Salenko/Stoichkov's 6 goals.(still close)
In 98, Ronaldo still managed to score 4 goals which is still close to Suker's 6 goals
In 2002, Ronaldo scored 8 goals. the 1st player to score more than 6 in 24 years or so.
What has Henry scored in the world cup that made u bring up this contradicting comparisons of urs.
U can never qualify to be a lawyer or an analyst. your comparisons are woeful.

@ Superman.
The fact that Ukraine wants to drop Sheva in their next match doesn't make him a less player.
Sheva stands taller than Henry in all departments.
He has won the golden boot at Serie A a couple of times while Henry ran to Arsenal when he could only get 3 goals in 28 matches.
Sheva has been named European footballer of the year despite playing for a non-footballing nation like Ukraine.
Sheva is the all time leading scorer at the Champions league so forget about Henry.

@ Elampiro
U said Henry is the 6th highest goal scorer in the champions league with 42 goas in 75 games(0.56 goal ratio). U think its impressive?
Anyway, check this. Van Nistelrooy has scored 46 goals in just 55 games(0.84 goal ratio) in the same competition. Thatz 20 games less than your Henry and 4 goals more than Henry.
I worry more about the Goal ratio (number of goals per game) than the goals scored.
Raul and Sheva are the only 2 players ahead of Ruud in the number of goals scored but no human being in the world has Ruud's amazing goal ratio.
Raul has 51 goals in 101 games(0.5 Goal ratio) Sheva has 51 goals in 98 games(0.52 Goal ratio)
SportsRe: Germany 2006: Group C( Group of Death) by hucarson(m): 11:07pm On Jun 16, 2006
@ Akola,
Don't get me wrong. Serbia topped its group at the world cup qualifiers conceeding just 1 goal in 10 matches.
The Argies are always gonna be hot favourites and i think they were still better than the Ivoiriens on that day.
I told u Pekerman removed his strikers so he can contend with the Ivoirien assault which is exactly what Van Basten did also.
How do u cope with a rampaging elephant? U lock the defence and close all shops.

Whether u hate the Argies or not, they have displayed the best football yet seen since 1986.
Grafting 24 passes and scoring is absolutely phenomenal. Gabriel Heinze and Roberto Ayala are like a rock in the defence and they kick asses like crazzzzzy.
Messi and Tevez were also immense and i believe Chelsea is under-utilising Hernan Crespo.

The Ivoiriens has to be the most shitiest team that represented Africa in this world cup.
Drogba and co cannot even snatch a point to save their momma's lives.
Can u see the way Angola fought tooth and nail to snatch a point despite playing with 10 men?
Angola played better football than 'em Drogba cos Ivory Coast are always slow starters and they chase games only after the opposing teams have scored.
Buncha mediocres.
