Funny how Arabs were happy that Kamala lost. They thought Trump would stem the tide. ![]() |
Can't say I am disappointed, coming back from 2 goals down away to Newcastle was never going to be easy for any team in the league. Not doing any business during the transfer window will keep coming back to haunt Arsenal till May. I guess the management got carried away with the 5-goal massacre of Man City. Hence, they refused to push hard on the deadline day. Anyways, they were never serious about getting a player, they were just playing to the gallery for the fans. Imagine bidding for Ollie Watkins while Aston Villa are still very much in contention in Europe and domestically. Arsenal misses Edu big time. The thing is that Arsenal has struggled a lot playing strong teams with low block and counterattacking football this term. When you don't have a known no.9 to cause trouble in such teams' box, and a Saka to ruffle feathers, then it becomes an uphill task. Kai isn't a Striker, he flourishes only when there is space to operate as a false 9. |
While I'm certain Liverpool will still drop points, my doubt is Arsenal taking advantage when they do. For one, Liverpool has an outstanding match (a derby) against a rejuvenated Everton, and still has some tough matches to come. However, whatever Arsenal returns from Nottingham and Old Trafford with, will go a long way to define their season. As for Nottingham Forest, they will either end the season 4th or 5th on the table. |
Werey, no level of blackmail will make us cave. Even liberal Muslims are against it. On the contrary, it is Yoruba Muslims that are violently intolerant of Traditional worshipers. As for Christians, we don't just care as long as you don't encroach on our territory. But as a people, across religious divides, we vehemently reject Sharia Law in our land. |
02/02/2025 Women's Super League Man City (w) 3 Arsenal (w) 4 Premier League Arsenal 5 Man City 1 Na both men and women collect from Arsenal today |
Equal2DeTask:I wonder o ![]() It is shocking that some people think it is the coach who buy players, when his job is just to point a player he likes and hopes that management delivers him. |
Ezmans:Wetin be my own, that's for Man Utd fans to decide. ![]() |
Man Utd needs a total overhaul. This bunch aren't serious at all. |
They thought he was bluffing? 😅 |
Using State's funds. ![]() Thief carry am, thief collect am. While no naija politician's hands are clean, I have upmost respect for Wike, there is no dull moment with him when it comes to delivering on infrastructure for the people he governs. If all past and current Governors and President's are like him, Nigeria won't be dealing with this gargantuan infrastructural deficits we currently have. |
Commendable!!! 👏 But make e no just be theories only. Because that's how, for example, most schools teach Computer Science, which is suppose to be majorly practical. If well implemented, will boost the nation's productivity and by extension the economy. But if we are really serious as a country, we should fix this electricity of a thing once and for all. If nah to borrow massively to fix it, let's do it with intent and purpose. With good roads and stable electricity, insecurity will reduce drastically, and our economy will be better for it. Because, for a country that needs at least 100k megawatts on our national grid, and keeps experiencing all these reoccurring collapse of our 3500 megawatt, we will just remain a country that is like a guy winking at a girl in the dark. |
Bigboytinz:I don't know what obtains in the UK first hand, but based on what I heard, it is like that. But in Germany, the biggest economy in Europe, it is like that. It is smooth for locals, but for foreigners ... 😅 |
The same thing happens in most countries of the world. They ensure you cough out thousands before they can help you secure an apartment. Except you are just fortunate to know a apartment owner directly, and he's willing to do you that favour of direct rent. Otherwise, you go sweat |
Good for her, her family and those who benefit from her charity works. Make she go collect her retirement benefits. She deserves it, she don pay her dues. Good luck to her |
Harrowing experience, better imagined than experienced. I am beginning to suspect some sort of sabotage on Boeing carriers. What are the odds that all recent air mishaps are happening only to Boeing planes? |
Sharia in Yorubaland won't work. Continue to enjoy your conquest in Ilorin, beyond that, perish that thought. We Yorubas tolerate a lot of things, we are multireligious but we won't welcome anything that would affect our socioeconomic freedoms. We are liberals...we don't tolerate things like this, and it will never stand. In places where they have these laws, what change has it brought to their lives? Was it made for just the poor people? Has it improved the economies of those areas? |
Komu1048:Thought as much. They are out there, one just needs to find the ones that fits him. Well, all my jeans have deep pockets. Although they aren't skinny skinny, but they are firm by my thighs. Also, you don't want to look gayish too, so consider that. ![]() |
Flamemignon1:The fact still remains that we all can't lose our minds at the same time. Trans and gay people have the right to live, it is their lives, but they shouldn't try to shove their ideology and sexual orientations down our throats. How can we allow someone born as a man compete with women because he wasn't comfortable with the way he was born? How is that fair to our girls? How can we allow such a person share the same bathroom and toilets with our daughters? While I am not a fan of Trump's, he is not banning them from transgendering, he is simply saying there won't be any preferential treatment for them. |
The State has been in the news for all good reasons recently. Kudos to the Governor and everyone placing Ekiti at levels they should be. They are not the State with the highest number of Professors for nothing. 👏 They are no more in the era of only stomach infrastructure 😅 |
Komu1048:That one strong o, but I assume your phone was peeping, making it easy for a touch and grab. When 1/3 of your phone is above the top of your pocket, then you are making it easy for them. Deep pockets can't be that smooth, the person hand go dey stuck because you are in motion. It will be a rough one |
wifeesnatcher:And display their bodies in the media for others to learn from. |
While I applaud his stance on gender identities and LGBTQIA+, this man should thread very carefully. By the time Trump finishes with folks with skin colours other his, Western allies and immigrants ehn, dem go wish sey dem no join hand vote am come back. Politicians generally no dey send anybody during thier second term, they do as they wish, show their true colours. Biden was wise to pardon everyone he knows Trump can get back at, this vindictive guy will ruin diplomatic relationships and national policies holding that nation together. 🤞🏼 |
Mrexcell:Welcome to Nigeria! Naija politicians can bow to the feet of a 10 year old if it will favour him, then wait until he gets the power, then you see an Emperor. Wait for if Obi becomes President, all these his humility will gradually disappear, especially if he's lucky to win a 2nd term. It is a Nigerian thing sha o, get small money or power, then you see rising shoulders. ![]() |
Dem run you street...too bad...sorry bro That's why i love my jean trousers, with all my stuff in my front pocket, sitting tightly between my laps and jeans, and when I feel the weight pressing against my body after every step, let me see how you will remove something out of it without me knowing. With normal pant trousers with side pockets, even if you are not pickpocket(ed), easily, stuffs can slip out anytime, especially when you are about sitting or standing up from a sitting position. I only pity white-job workers, and those without choice but to wear these pants in congested cities. |
Wordson:Wetin be my business? I no be City fan. 🤣 I am just shocked you think Chelsea will just go to Etihad and walk all over City, a team that is also battling her own vulnerabilities and inconsistencies o. 😅 |
Wordson:Dey play ![]() |
It amazes me how these guys are released without any efforts by the govt to reintegrate them back into the society. Even those outside are struggling hard to put food on the table, not to talk of a man with stigma of being an ex-con, whose face has been shown to the whole world. It was always a matter of time before he goes back to crime, only that his own was too swift. |
iwaeda:Na make people wey dey this category, and wey don almost due start to dey force labour nah. They have 30 days to give their unborn children that American dream. Trump isn't playing at all. |
Thank God he didn't waste them. But his cup is full, they must ensure his structures are totally dismantled, and him, captured dead or alive |
IJEYdiamond:I know, but to fetch with copters or fire trucks, you still need a lot of time to and fro. That's where reservoirs in different communities come in. They are linked to hydrants in remotest of areas for easier and quicker access and usage in situations like this. It is just like having a borehole with pipes directly into your shower vs fetching from a well. Time is of the essence. When you consistently pummel fire with water, it loses its strength and dies, but when you take breaks in between, your guess is as good as mine. |
These wildfires aren't natural, there is an act of sabotage somewhere. Like five or more different fires raging and wrecking havoc simultaneously in the same city. Domestic or foreign sabotage? 🤔 It is criminal that million of dollars was recently cut from the LA fire service's budget. Even more criminal is the fact that there was no drop of water in a reservoir that houses 117-millions gallons of water in one of the Los Angeles communities with the most terrifying fires, rendering useless the hydrants. I am sure resignations and sacks will follow when this ends |
I repeat, with Saka out till March or April, if Arsenal fail to spend big this transfer window (buy a top striker), their season is as good as over. |
