hotwax:The 3 arms that are now in his pocket, right? |
goatandyam:Sir? No dey follow, expatiate please |
Uten9z:So you are one of those who believe Trump is God sent 🤣 |
With the saboteurs, the inept and corrupt political and religious leaders we have in the position of power across the nation, fasting and praying for Nigeria, is just an effort in vain. Imagine as an individual, you this habit, which is known to you, that is keeping you in poverty, and while still deeply immersed in that habit, you are now praying to God to take you out of poverty regardless. We all know the result. That's how this sounds to me. There is a reason the poorest and most corrupt countries in the world are the most religious. When the people are liberated, their votes can no longer be bought, hence, they must remain in the mud. |
If with the multiple mineral and energy resources we have in this country, we still rely on fasting and prayers for her development, then we are a very unserious nation. We always put the cart before the horse in this country. God can only multiple what you have planted, not emptiness. Plus you can't build something on nothing. The political and religious classes (both of whom are feeding fat on the masses) are asking the masses who fund their lifestyles to fast and pray for them and the country. A prayer my parents and those before them inculcated into our family prayers decades ago, instead the decay deepens. The only prayers we need is to open up more factories instead of more religious centres, do night shifts instead of vigils, be in our shops on Mondays instead of going for fellowships, industrialise the nation, diversify the economy, and be bold and sincere in fighting corruption. Otherwise, it is just a vicious and deceitful circle that will never end. Have we noticed that the most religious countries in the world are the most corrupt and poverty stricken? Because that is the wool the ruling class uses to cover the masses' eyes to keep them in check and remain poor. No successful country depended on prayers only for development, it took them decades of hard work and strategic plannings. Remember, when the people are emancipated, their votes can no longer be bought. |

Uten9z:Well, you are right on many levels, Donald Trump targeted the uneducated mainly. But so many factors contributed to her failure. Apart from the economy (which is currently recovering) and the immigration issue, Indians, Latinos and Arabs voted against her for many reasons, while Blacks didn't turn up for her like those before her. |
Uten9z:Okay I hear you. Yet millions of people kept saying they don't know her. He was only President for 18 days, while Biden went through an operation. She was mostly in the shadows. But whatever |
It would have happened had Trump lost. Someone who till this moment hasn't conceded defeat for the 2020 election. Kamala showed him what maturity and the respect for the rule of law looks like. |
Fibonacci88:IMO, I think she must have been crying, with her eyes swollen and wouldn't want to become a subject of mockery in the media. She is an emotional woman. |
Jostoman:While I know that this administration has thrown Federal Character into the bin, know this and know peace, no Nigeria President will ever allow people from tribes other than his lead the country's key security offices. Except the person has been his trusted ally for years. With our volatile political environment, Presidents want to sleep with their eyes closed, travel without the fear of a coup happening before their return. Even Obi or Atiku or Kwankwaso would have done the same. |
Uten9z:She didn't have enough time, remember? Just 107 days |
bentenny:Maybe. I just think this election was a verdict on Joe Biden-Harris administration. If the economy was doing okay, Trump won't have won. Biden's approval rating is very low. |
Hmm, so the over 1b dollars spent on the Kamala's campaign ads and logistics just went down the drain like that. Chai |
ddippset:Who else could they have given? Do you know the groundwork needed to run against a former President like Trump? 3 months is never enough to prepare for a Governorship, not to talk of a Presidential election. Nobody of note could have been prepared like her, someone already in the national public eye. Plus they had thought her colour would work some magic, unfortunately, it didn't. |
For a coloured woman who was in the race for just 107 days, she really performed beyond expectations. I think one of the mistakes she made was not picking the Pennsylvania Governor as running mate, Shapiro. Choosing instead, a running mate from a Blue Wall State, that in itself was a wrong move in my opinion. But then, the dismal performance of the Biden-Harris administration, especially on inflation was the nail in her campaign's coffin. Remains to be seen if Trump would live up to his hype with the Legislative arm also in the bag for the GOP, or make the Democrats fears come to fruition. 🤞 |

Buharidgeneral:Maybe. I understand how it feels to be disappointed by your expected salary as a family man, it can destabilise a lot of things. But then, those pressing needs that prolly gave him a heart attack would sort themselves out down the line, but he's gone forever. May he RIP |
Buharidgeneral:But if he was promoted and decorated last week, how do we expect that to happen immediately? It takes a month or two for the salary to align with the promotion, especially with the administrative bottlenecks involved with federal parastatals in a country like ours. |
LegendHero:Why aren't you voting bro? Are you an early voter or you are not ripe to vote yet? |
MAGA and their sympathiers' MO. All these things were alien to American politics until DJT came on the scene. Never in his political life has he ever conceded defeat, very spoilt adult- child. The MAGA faithful knows that they can only win through disruption of the process in places where Trump seem weak. |
Trump is an example of how people were warned about electing Tinubu, but his record in Lagos was used as perimeter to argue in his favour. Apart from his sickening rhetorics, his deteriorating mental acuteness, and his deranged behaviour and utterances on stage, the fact that 40 of his 44 kitchen cabinet during his first term as President are warning Americans not to re-elect him is all I need to know the danger he portends to democracy. That Christians think he's some messiah is mind boggling. Even more mind boggling is that commoners think the coming together of the billionaires in their country will bear them good fruit. Dey play. My only problem is that, once a system of Government fails in a country that births it, like domino effect, other countries with same style of government follows suit. 🤞 I am with Kamala Harris despite her potential shortcomings. |
See what Trump and his MAGA gang has turned US into . |
phr0nesis:The effect is that, it could affect the congressional elections in the State too. In case you don't know, that's also in play, and it could decide who leads both the Senate and the HOR. Moreover, losing a State you were sure of winning can be brutal in a race that could end up in a tie. |
Worse part be sey, some mumus dey carry am abroad. SMH |
rentAcock:One of the most hilarious comments I have ever encountered on this platform. The most ridiculous of them all is the suggested "closure of embassies and consulates". You mean in plain terms that the FG should forgo Foreign Relations altogether? For a country that depends on others for virtually everything? Or you think those Foreign offices are just for passport issuance? 😁 |
tetralogyfallot:Ok.🤞 |
tetralogyfallot:So you think Donald Trump would stop the Israel-Palestine crisis? Dey play! Someone who hates Arabs with passion, and pro Israel to the core. |
maestro299:Have you been following the US election at all? Is it how Trump speaks highly of Putin and other Dictators and Authoritarians? Or how it was exposed recently by a former close ally of Trump's of how he secretly sent Covid 19 test kits to Putin for his private use while Americans were without same and were dying in their millions? And how Putin told him to keep it secret so that he doesn't get into trouble with his people? Or how he, against all protocols took classified documents to his private residence after he left the white house? Or how he has spoken privately to Putin more than 4 times since he left office, unheard of any former US President? The list goes on and on...you either use your unbiased lenses to view this or keep watching Fox News. |
maestro299:He's just trying to use reverse psychology, Putin is Trump's buddy to the core. Trump and his erratic MAGA squad would be the end of the US if not checked immediately. |

I hope they don't take it out on our brothers and sisters who are trying to cross the Mediterranean. 😅 |
