Its not really loud. I just don't like to see people condemn others that are in the same shoes as they are. Some of them will argue and write against what experienced fellow have been through a long time ago.

A guy sometimes ago was arguing with fairheart but when I looked back at his previous post. He actually applied to Iglobal and was denied visa in May. I will not mention his monicker but I asked if he was talking from experience and he answered "YES". Since that day, I select people I take advise from. I don't just believe everyone that answers my question especially when they don't have proof of experience.

I guess you were referring to me. The iglobal transcript was for a friend actually, just posted it to hear others view and i got what I wanted. So don’t use that at all to judge my profile

Please if you have been denied visa in other countries like usa or Uk. Is it okay to say it while applying for admission in Australian schools. Will it affect chances of being admitted in the school?

Guys with experience in the house, pls how easy and fast it is to emigrate from Ireland to Canada,USA or Australia after one's masters program. I have seen icasng wrote that its a stepping stone to other countries.

Visa is not to get when you are resident in these developed countries

Each time I post anything here, I do so to inform people. Understand that we are not competing, and you don't need to agree... but trust me, this view has been shared from experience.

We disagree to agree. You made a point. What am saying is there is no harm in changing school and must not be up to a year like you earlier said. It all depends on my reason for changing school. If I used Virginia international university let’s say two months ago and was refused and a month later Harvard university gave me admission, won’t I change to Havard?

Hello gurus in tge house. Please my interview is in 3weeks time. I was denied in Abuja and reapply to Lagos. Please in my previous application my dad name was the sponsor i put but currently he doesnt have much to cover the tuition on his statement of account. Please can i change the sponsor name to my uncle's own or i should just leave it as my dad's name and if the consular ask, i should tell him my uncle is now sponsoring. Note: the statement of account is for hia company, so his name is not indicated on the statement. Thanka

When was your last interview?
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 14 by Humble11: 6:13am On Nov 10, 2018
fairheart:
To elaborate, the student who posted this should open up on when he appeared for the last interview. I am not a consular, but I can tell you that if he recently appear for last interview, say last 6-8 months, then this is not a good idea. Before a student choose a school and head to the embassy with its I-20, he/she is believed to have scrutinized available option, and choose what's best for him/her. Changing school after a denial that isn't more than a year gap tantamount to inconsistency, and being unsure.

If the distance between the last interview and the proposed one is more than one year and student situation (based on ground for last denial) has changed, then it is another story. The poster did not even share why he's changing the school in the first place. Let's wait for the visa outcome!

Good luck to him.

I don’t agree with this , there is no crime in changing school if you have a genuine reason for choosing the school. Some schools give funding at a later time, I may have gone for interview with a school that didn’t give me funding and later another school gave me full funding after a month interview, am 100% free to change school. It all depends on why you are changing school.

Abuja Embassy.

As if I know, it’s common with Abuja embassy. I don’t know why. Maybe system error. The lump sum actually contributed to this. Please try again

Okay. Here it is...........
V.O: I can see you are going to UNCG for a masters in peace and conflict studies?
Me: Yes,i am.
V.O: Why UNCG
Me: the major things i looked out for when applying was a school that offers my course,an affordable state, and the school's reputation. UNCG offers my course and an area that best fits my interest (negotiations and mediation), and its also one of the most prestigious US state owned universities and the students to faculty ratio is 18.1,which for me is a very good academic standard. North carolina on its own is one of the most affordable states in the country, and the standard of living there is great. And so for me, UNCG ticked of all my boxes in those areas.
V.O: did you apply to other schools , and where you accepted by all?
Me: answered in the affirmative.
V.O: Who is your sponsor?
Me: my dad and my maternal uncle.
V.O: What do they do?
Me: (explained to her)
V.O: (asks for their statements). She goes through it, and points out the part where my mum transfered a lump sum to my dad 2 days before the statement was printed. She asked who it was, and i explained to her that it was my mum.
V.O: i will be holding on to your passport and financial documents for further validation. You will be contacted in 3days. ( No white slip, no blue slip or even the pink letter)
An hour later i checked my status, and it was REFUSED.

Is this Abuja embassy or Lagos?

pls don't listen to those dream killers saying they reject Lincoln students.Am also going to Lincoln University and I know 4 people that they have visa last year to the school.Be hopeful and think before you talk or if you are lost just say "pardon".I was denied on Monday based on my fault and i accept it and willing to go there again. It all depends on you and your responses.Be positive that's all and fluent........Best of luck

I expected you to share testimony that you got your visa with the school but ended up dashing peoples hope with the refusal you got. Which fault are you talking about. Well it’s better to learn from people’s experience. Am not saying that people don’t get visa with Lincoln, iglobal , VIU, but visa refusal rate I have seen with those schools is very high. There is over 3000 schools in USA... why must it be these schools?

Hello there, I just got an offer of admission for an MS program at the University of Southern Mississippi, which also comes with a full tuition waiver and stipends. The sum of the assistantship is more than the estimated cost of study for a whole academic year. I will like to know if I still need to send an account statement with a balance exceeding the estimated cost of study or not. Thanks

No, you don’t need to

Good Evening Everyone.
I just got my I-20 for Grand Canyon University, Arizona, Phoenix.

However, I have two issues:
1) Does anybody know if the school has been cast in a bad light as a visa Mill school, or generally, of anyone knows any info about the school

2) I don't have an original statement of account.

Hold your hands on your ears, I repeat... don’t ever go to US Embassy with fake statement of account. They made it a rule to verify all statement of accounts before issuing visa. Only in few cases that they don’t collect Statement of account

Hello all, I attended my F1 visa interview today. The officer said she was going to hold on to my passport and financial statements. Barely 30mins later, I checked my visa status on the site, and it showed refused. I'm confused because she still has my passport and documents.

Is it lagos or Abuja embassy ?

But why is Humble1 claiming not editable after submission? I just need to know.

After submitting ds 160, you can’t edit it again. But can recreate another one and use it to book your appointment
