Health › Re: Ask The Eye Doctor Any Problem Concerning The Eyes by HumbledbYGrace(f): 4:11pm On Oct 29, 2014
Glad I found this.....

drsteroid....

I've had eye problems since I was young which were occupied by severe headaches and they would come and go, but when I turned 18, my left eye couldn't see anything at night. Everything would be totally black, I went for a check-up and I was told there's nothing wrong with me. The eyes were terribly painful at that time, just eye drops and the pain would subside. The blindness however reduced but the right sees things in a brighter way than the left, the light at night makes me cry, its like there's something being pulled from the veins in the eyes. What could be the problem? Glasses makes me look old biko, is the any other way I can skip those because I went to check the optometrist who told me I need glasses.

No they aren't... He made mention of it being a sin to you if you're uncomfortable with your decision.
Whatever you believe is wrong becomes a sin to you when you indulge in it.
Hmmmmm, then. The bible tells us of things to avoid as Christians, how to live etc but others completely live the opposite meaning if they are fine with clubbing and it doesn't bug them they can go, smoking weed, drinking and fornicating? It all has to do with conscious right?

Hey, Minty, It is important to note that in Lev19:28 the context of the passage was clearly related to false religious practices and is not that of body decoration and other cosmetic body modifications but one of marking one's self in connection with religious worship,God was specifically telling Israel to stay far from the religious practices of the surrounding people groups.
But, today tattoo is a decorative means of self expression and personal decoration. There is something called lale which the Hausa's use which is similar to tattoos and is also for ornamentation aimed to beautify their looks just like applying eye pencil. Christians have the liberty to modify their appearance for beauty in many ways such as clothing choice, makeup,correcting a club foot, plastic surgery, hair cutting and colouring, weight loss, body-building, ear piercing.etc
Tattoo is not for everyone, and is certainly not for a Christian who feels uncomfortable with it.I totally agree with that. But to generalize and say it is a way of defiling God's temple, you may be wrong. If you see the emboldened part of your post you will discover the "I"s and "Me" as regard definition of defiling the temple not as the Bible stated it in I Cor 6:18,19.Believe me, Is just your perception and largely what you have been taught.
Having say that, i reiterate what i posted earlier,I won't encourage it for Christians in this part of the world.
so as to make the long story short, those ladies who have their eyebrows tattooed are so damn doomed to hell? Please elaborate Sir.

It's a good thing that you can read but I think that your biggest difficulty is in the reading comprehension department. Here's a poem to help your reading comprehension:
"Oho!" said the pot to the kettle;
"You are dirty and ugly and black!
Sure no one would think you were metal,
Except when you're given a crack."
"Not so! not so!" kettle said to the pot;
"'Tis your own dirty image you see;
For I am so clean – without blemish or blot –
That your blackness is mirrored in me."
Maxwell's Elementary Grammar, 1904.
Check that... Elementary Grammar.
Ok we thank God for people like you on Nairaland, Nairaland english personal tutor since.....pls remind me.

How do you suggest I do my research? By going to the Woolworths in Maseru and watch them reject my store card? OK, I'll do that next time I
"leave" my country to visit Lesotho.
I've never read a sensible post from you like this one. Please do so, but in the meantime you can help me by not "talking about things you have no idea of."

Woolworths and other South African franchise stores that survive in Lesotho must be doing so by fluke. Or perhaps you just posted and absent-minded comment.
Do your research clever boy

Please do not take note of the Lesotho peasant, she probably bitter for cleaning some South African home toilet. What good has ever came out of Lesotho? Botswana us a tiny country as well but it is Africa's best story. She must go back to Lesotho and work hard there. Amazingly the so called not lazy people have the most faced up countries in the world. We in South Africa feed and employ these Lesotho peasants. In this one particular wants a Nigeria drug dealer as a husband that's why she is hating on SA. I do not blame her she needs people on her level.
when I read this the first time I got so pissed, but then I didn't let emotions cloud my judgement.

Your so funny it would be a crime not to laugh at you....please my beautiful kingsmen, don't know if your a pure blood tswana or just occupy the place. Please go back to your history, go study the facts, and check well where Lesotho is located. Right inside South Africa. And you know why we isolated ourselves and ended up being locked up from the land and forced to use passports? Because we couldn't stand the Boers so for peace sake we had to accept their terms and use passports but doesn't mean that we aren't South Africans.

So they feed us right? You make me laugh!!!

The water they use, especially Joburg city, where is it coming fromhuh

The cities you mention that were build and the gold who actually sweat therehuh Who were the workers in the mineshuh

Don't come here and spew rubbish, I can insult South Africans the way I want, atleast I know I belong here by birth, by land and whatever rubbish you might wanna add. If it was in Zim or Nigeria or Botswana, I'd had my tail between my legs in fear of deportation if I didn't have any humanity in me. Atleast I gave out not destructive criticism you Miss Botswana always potray. Its called constructive criticism, its not meant to destroy but to build up.

now Woolworth's failure can be attributed to poor feasibility study, while other stores and businesses thrives, Woolworth claimed Nigerians had low purchasing power [really?], south african entrepreneurs critized their claims [read a few articles].. common sense should tell you why truworths is still around, amongst others.

I stand corrected!.. and pls post your middle class source [world bank stats preferably ]
well simply put, woolworths and other franchise clothing stores are still around because Southies loves buying on credit.....

Is jacob zuma afraid of mentioning nigera.
Nigeria is too far to mention it but he might have had it in mind. I am quite sure he does the "palmface" everytime he sees how many foreigners are in S.A.

Looking from where this people come from. Most of them are highly educated but they don't sit at home waiting for an office Job till eternity after graduating, they studied in candle lit houses, leaking roofed schools, and had to carry water from the village centre tap or the wall up the valley but they are never lazy to work hard to make life better for themselves instead of striking for a better living.

I saw someone's post on that tweeter feed, saying their father faught for democracy. That was their father's fight, and they were not lazy, their fathers were garden boys, mine workers, farmers etc.

Zuma, Mr President, I salute you sir, its time you put your foot down. They can boo you all they want but the truth is simply bitter.

@ the question asked;

#2 is the only one that's forbidden as in thrown upon.

I don't think there's anything wrong with having a tattoo, what's important is what's drawn on it or what it potrays.

Hello everyone;

@ ATMC, that sounds cool, hook me up let's plan and since you came up with the idea, hit up the moderators and get the permission then we are good to go.

@Uj_sizzle; still around, just hiding in the shark's belly. You've been so silent too.

@Ihedinobi, I've been a silent reader, thank for taking your time to share and educate us. I really enjoyed the articles, especially about teenagers getting pregnant while still young, well you were kinda sharing my own story. It took me back to five years back when I was naïve and thinking I was smarter than everyone.

Oh well, that was then...

@thesweetestcrew how far naw?

The school in question is Wits university in Jo'burg. Kindly assist with d question below:

Having accepted d offer of admission, will the school still send an unconditional letter of acceptance before one can proceed to submit an application for study visa cos i noticed d admission letter didn't state the breakdown of fees.

Your response wil be appreciated.

Thanks
Having the letter of admission means you have been accepted to study @ the university. Firstly u need to visit the embassy and take it from there
