Oya who else should we have brought on?? Iwobi is not good with his back to goal. Simy is but is not that great with the ball at his feet. So who?
it seems you have no idea that iwobi too can play as a false 9?

Ighalo just proved to every one why I never rate him at all.

I am even ashamed right now...even martins and osaze would have done better.

The coach killed the game.
the coach missed those 2 glaring chances right?

you see why I said you and komekn should stick to scouting...because you both know nothinh about football analysis....

I read here...how you both cluelessly make case for these Ighalo of a player....
and now hope he has proved you both right...?

Ighalo killed the game and not the coach......

When we say Ighalo is useless and has bad luck, they accuse us of sentiments

Maybe if Rohr had used sentiments, we would have scored more than one.

He should have fielded Iwobi when he removed Iheanacho, but he put that stinking waste pipe to go and twerk for the Argentines with his ikebe.

I hope all of you supporting Ighalo enjoyed his twerking. You can watch highlights of his amazing hold-up play for the rest of the World Cup.
Babe...when we talk how useless he is in front I goal..many here will begin to think we hate him...

it has become obvious to all....his abilities...

so unfortunate he cost us this match....had it been he scored...then iwobi and ebuehi would have been introduced....
rohr was scared not to utter the tactical set up...reason why no substitution.

well the man should continue as coach....I like him

Did anyone notice Ogu going to console Ighalo. Even he knew he threw away two great chances to bury the game for us. Rohr has tried but I think we need to get a new coach. I am pro-Nigeria but our ex-internationals have disappointed with questionable line ups and unneccesary off the field issues. Can we afford a good coach better than Rohr? I don't know.
we should continue with rohr please....he has not done badly.....
just need him to offload some players from the team....players like elderson, Ighalo

We didn't take our chances and that includes two by Ighalo.

Achilles the cat, the animal oracle for the 2018 World Cup, has predicted that Nigeria will beat Argentina in their final Group D match.
The cat was presented with a choice of two bowls of food with Argentinian and Nigerian flags placed next to them, and Achilles preferred the latter one.
Earlier, the congenitally deaf snow-white cat correctly predicted Russia's wins over Saudi Arabia and Egypt, Iran's victory over Morocco and Brazil's defeat of Costa Rica.
The Group D game between two-time former champions Argentina and Nigeria will be held at the St. Petersburg Stadium at 04:00am tomorrow morning.
Argentina go into the match knowing only a victory could see them through to the round of 16.

Quite True.
But I would prefer Musa and Iheanacho up front.
The communication with midfield and the flanks is needed.I think Simy drops deep to communicate with the midfield too.He charges defense when without the ball too.He is tall too.If not Kelechi,I will prefer Simy to that tired Ighalo.
exactly...I still thinks our wingers will still resort to high balls crosses into the Argentina team yard box...
sunny will prove handful in such situations.

musa and nancho combo should be maintained with the introduction of simy and iwobi in the second half to keep up with the tempo.

See, let me tell you, I know that Argentina are favorite to win that game. But I try not to dwell on that. I look at the positives.

This is not my first WC so I am not even scared of a group exit. I just want to have a positive mindset.

The way you are sounding it is as if you actually wish Argentina should win so you can come here and say "I told you". You are free to condition your mind for a defeat. But some of us here have conditioned our mind that we will make it to the next round.
But if we do not make it, so? Then you can come around with your "I told you, I told you" and receive your medal for it.
God bless you oga icon4. ..
I do much believe we gonna shock the world come Tuesday...I don't care what pessimist may say.

When Ighalo came on,was when Iceland was surrendering already.
I yet prefer Ighalo to come on,in the second half against Argentina rather than start.
to come do what....
we need goals in this match.... at least to escape France...in the round of 16...

the goal should be strictly counter attack and players who release balls fast should be deployed and not one selfish dude on goal.drought.
we have played him in the last 7 matches with no goals....so why keep playing him?
let's try others....like simmy and see what he has to offer.... matches of these kind are not alien to him..having played against some of these argentina stars in Italy.

We need a draw because i can't see Iceland beating Croatia 3:0. We can not play for a draw though. We need to try to get a goal or two.

The Argentine team is low on confidence. If we get the first goal, they will take more risks and leave more spaces at the back... We need to stay organized and counter with purpose. Iceland caused their defence plenty of trouble with the counter.
should Iceland win by that margin and we win Argentina with a two goals difference....
is it still possible for us to top the group...?

please you give that list to.Southgate....we don't mind gift him to England...

I wonder how you analyse football.... field a player on goal drought in a very important match of that kind.
I believe you will make a poor manager....

So who is the player in goals FLOOD please tell us oh.
so you've been ignorant all this while to know that Ighalo you're clamouring for is still on goal drought...
no one knows when the drought will come to an end...

the player who scored two goals in the last match...is he a defender?
how about simmy and nancho are both defenders?

you really need to abreast yourself with the happenings in the super eagles...I quite understand it's not easy to affiliate with 2 teams at same time in same tourney....

but still better you come here to learn than start pouring out watery analysis

Sir,Simy Nwankwo is not a high profile striker in Italy, not only in Italy even when he was in Portugal, his invitation was due to his performance in the latter end of the league.

7 goals striker in a season is not a high profile striker though i wish to see more of him cos of that moment against Congo.
it depends on what you call a high profile striker...
to me for a striker to have scored 7 goals for an average team in a league like seria A where you have some tough defenders...and even against juventus scored a CR7 kind of goal...tells alot about his abilities...

I rate him highly compare to Ighalo...

Humility baba, Lokosa would have been better in this tactics than Ighalo?

In icon79 voice O pari.
this tactics need a player who can fearlessly drive forward and be abit selfless....
even Moses Simon...would have done better....
to be honest....I initially had doubts about lokosa but after the few minutes he played against Congo . I was really impressed....I believe he is a raw talent that needs to be polished... reason why I will want him go to the French league after his time in the npfl...
