MetalJigsaw: Don't we have natural AMs outside? What happened to Ajagun and Olayinka? Even the Nwakali you waved off could the the right peg in the hole after Mikel! Look at the much underrated Lokosa for instance. Come on! The height at which this team needs genuine creativity in the behind the attackers is alarming! Those players featuring in small clubs could grab the role to your surprise. my brother....you talk wisdom.. I will bookmark this page.... sometimes we are so quick to drag down players...all because they are currently not in big for nothing leagues.... I really had to eat my words after lokosa display...... and i have learnt from that. nwakali in this team will play and contribute better than agu and oga Joel..... that both players have barely create one reasonable assist or even one shot on goal from all the minutes they have amount upon playing for the super eagles..... |

Martz101: not only enrich but most of them have limited experience and knowledge of football management, nwakali brothers are managed by there elder brother yeah you really remind me... I remember how dull that his brother is...I matters of footbal when he starts hinging on nwakali heading to Germany earlier this year or rather late last year.... the opium reason was to get rohrs attention.... the brother seriously looking for short cut to get his kid brothers British work permit...after making them sign the dolted lines for premiership clubs.... he should know better that it will take only a miracle for them to get a British work permit without national team caps..... problem with this lad stems from this..... |

Martz101: so you mean if you don't prove your self in the national team, clubs won't look your way?? interesting.
The problem with nwakali is arsenal for now, i remember nwakali was wanted by ajax. by now he should be in the ajax squad and playing games many of these young lads...are ignorant of these things.....and their handlers only wanna enrich their personal purse from these deals...... it was never his fault...so he should not be blamed. |

maybe start idowu against England and then bring Aina in. and remember rohr still have the 3-5'2 formation in mind....so Aina may get the nod ahead of elderson..... he will be one player I really wanna watch made the list.... |

Certitude: Your problem is that you don't want a player playing in the Dutch division two and not what the player brings to the team. I'm not making a case for anyone but I don't think it's out of place to call a player from anywhere if he delivers. God bless you my brother.... any good player should be called up provided he has what the team lacks... |

Martz101: you are right he need to sort his club out, but it still don't stop us from inviting him after worldcup, Amunike was playing in tunisia the truth is our players does not really the opportunity most Europeans have.... he has not proven himself with the national team so most clubs will barely look his way...moreover he is an arsenal player not a frsh player going on trial abroad.... had it been he is able to get the British work permit...things would have been easier.... just hope he gets a better agent or his agent is asked to sit up.....get him into a reasonable club. |

mazimee: Not bad choice, I really feel pity for Moses Simon now. He is so unlucky. BTW, if we should go by this, it means that either of Agu /Joel and either of Ederson/Aina is going to be dropped. Aina shoot himself in the foot ..with that foul on Congolese player... the tackle wasn't necessary or would respond much earlier...prior the player cuts in moreover it was outside the box and not a penalty.... besides that mistake...he played well and better than elderson..... hope rohr drop elderson.... |

tbaba1234: Every coach liked Lawal. Nigerians could not figure out why.. lawal was a very humble and loyal player... always the first to hit camp...rarely miss call ups... and never saw the team captaincy as a problem he respects whoever was the captain, even when made to come in as sub...he never had a problem wit. though in some opinion it was said...that he was being invited because of the federal character system....which i doubt. |

Truidstar: Every coach has a player he rates that most fans don't. In the days of Bonfrere Jo it was Garba Lawal. Agu will be in the final 23. please....I rather we have nwakali in that team...that's a waste of slot. that guy @23 still can't play good footbAll...when will he start living to expectation? we are talking of having a bench that is as strong or even close to the calibre of the 11 players on the pitch.... please I will rather we take Joel obi self..... uche Agbo and agu are in same level. |

OMANBALA1: Etebor is not better than Joel in the CM nor in the DM, though , Etebo gives more attacking option but he can be erratic with his attacking forays. Joel on the other hand is an old fashioned CM/DM with high level of discipline and concentration. Joel is just high energy as Etebor but more calculative what has Joel obi played so far...for the past 3 games...he has played nothing.. we can't keep managing two Similiar midfielders.... onazi and Joel.... both are trending base on sentiment...while we can manage onazi let's drop Joel.... we need someone better...that can offer something upfront and compliment mikel... |

Dele Ajiboye
Stephen Eze

I rather he drop jeol obi and agu. ...and take lokosa instead. |

kennysville: You see now? When I said sometime ago that goalkeeper crisis is the least of our worries, you think say na play? For all we care we can play without a keeper if we can boss the midfield. Thats my own philosophy and opinion. At least now e don clear say una go get something new to make noise about.
A look at Etebo any day any time will tell you that he cannot be the 10 you are looking for. But you will hear people make all the noise about him being a baller. All I see is an Amokachi version 0.5.
Our eyes don dey clear small small. Make we continue dey make noise on Uzoho and Akpeyi. My own beef is how is it that it took us this long to really know that we needed a 10 in the absence of Mikel? How long will it take to know that some players just cant cut it as a make shift 10? If Naija crashes out i the world cup at least we know where the problem lies. Lets stop fooling around and address the koko of the matter.
Solution: Remove every nigerian in the coaching crew and allow the coach do a proper screening excercise. Enough also with the media interference. Most journos are also agents themselves. bro...your last paragraph sums it up. many indigenous coaches are also agent themselves.... I am currently suspecting that goal keeping department. |

Martz101: Which Etebo??
the best position i have seen him play is the left wing. Etebo has also failed on CM for eagles.
please mention the game Etebo played in the CM position and was outstanding against Egypt in kaduna and Algeria in Uyo. |

OMANBALA1: More like my preferred 23s. I really want to take Joel Obi and drop either Etebor or Agu but Simmy got to be on that list etebo better than Joel obi as CM anytime anyday...whenever he plays with mikel....he shines.... Joel is still rash with his tackles...and offer less offensively compare to etebo |

tbaba1234: Players i will drop
Agbo (simply have not seen him) Joel Obi (has been unable to show his Serie A form for Nigeria after 3 games) Simon Moses (Injury) Akpeyi (Rohr will drop Ajiboye though) Lokosa (Did himself a lot of credit, we should see him again post WC but with Ighalo and Simy as CFs, i do not see the space for him in the 23) Elderson (could have received a red today, he is coming to the end of his international career. He has been a good servant) Stephen Eze ( The fact that we did not see him suggests that he will be dropped) you're spot on...had it been it was possible to take lokosa...it would have been good. |

Gks: Uzoho, Ajiboye, Ezenwa
Defenders: Ebuehi, Shehu, Awaziem, Omeruo, Ekong, Balogun, Idowu, and Aina.
Midfielders: Mikel Obi, Etebo, Onazi, Ndidi, Iwobi, John Ogu.
Attackers: V.Moses, Ighalo, Musa, S. Nwankwo, Iheanacho, Lokosa. Yes, Lokosa will put up a decent performance against the English and that will propel him into the final squad so you will drop iwobi? |
