Failed to utilize chance?
We hardly create one
so all the matches he has been playing...we have not been creating chances...?
then how come someone like nancho could get a good goal record....?

his finishing and positional prowess need to ha looked into....so poor of a top 9.

Anyway, dts d norm on dis thread, d UNTESTED PLAYERS are always far better Dan d current one in d team,na so Mikel Agu own take starr cool
Ighalo positioning and finishing is very poor...
those are the 2 core attributes of a good striker....
we need a forward with this two traits..every other thing can come after...

Lol... You are right shaa to an extent. Rohr rates Nacho even above Ighalo... He sees Nacho as his best forward but what Rohr needs is that player that can execute the no.9 role naturally in terms of holdup play, physical battles, and being a constant nuisance for defences. Nacho is another breed of forward. A hybrid attacker. Rohr wants a super top 9 and I know with time the Likes of Sadiq and Osimhen will lead the charge in that role followed by others who will rise strong but right now, Ighalo leads the way and maybe just maybe, we may see a Martins on the list.... Hahahahahahahahaha... Or maybe a Dessers. Time will tell aiit...

To be honest I have two ways of seeing this team...

No.1 is The team that we will field in Russia 2018

And

No.2 is the team's evolution and shape one and two years post-russia... At and After Afcon 2019, we shall see a major "gradual" influx of the new generation's remaining puzzle pieces. Watch out... wink
I understand the time is short...though.
but I will want rohr to name at least 4 good CF in his 30 man list...among these guys...2 best among them should be picked.....in respective of their pedigree...we don't care.
provided the best is picked...I believe with that....we may get a good CF...

Oya name one striker better than Martins in the Eagles fold. If u give me one yeye name I go call Shango for you
the problem I have with you guys clamouring for martins is that you guys seems not to know...that your world best central forward...had passed his prime...

not same way he was when at inter Milan...
the earlier you guys wake up to reality the better it will be...

'
presently...I will rate kayode, nancho, ahead of him...if i am opportuned...I will even play young dessers and sadiq ahead of him....

My point is cleared and people who really understand the game knows what am talking about.

Sadiq better than Ighalo?
yes nah....sadiq i rate better than ighalo...
Ighalo may be a poacher for his club but definetely not with the super eagles...
I see this sadiq like kanu nwankwo kind of player.....very technical and skillful too....I was always impressed with his Olympics display....he should get some of the chances Ighalo has been misusing....he will definetely make good use of it.

I don't understand this fuss about iwobi playing as a 10....dude is the most creative player in the super eagles after mikel...but has always play below par...save for the Zambia game...when used as a winger...

if rohr must play him as a winger...then he gonna be a super sub.
but I will prefer play him...as AM...he got the qualities...other attributes will come alive when he finally master that role.

He played a lot of games in seria B the equivalence of championship..he scored a lot of goals there for spezia or so....do you know what strong means? Sodiq is a strong player, him always falling down is due to lack of balance..most African players naturally have strength..would you say messi is strong? He has really good balance, that's why he can dribble at speed and not fall down..

Pls on Ighalo it seems you are waiting for this friendly to nail the young man.

I will advice you to go and watch Poland and Serbia match again and point out Ighalo's fault then i will keep quiet.

Pls go to Facebook and type green eagles hq and watch the match.
so sorry...you can remove the German lads...

For Russia 2018... Seems we are stuck with Ighalo. So patience My Ogas. wink

Sir was it not the same sadiq of Olympics, the sadiq of Roma loaned to Torino and couldn't find his feet now in dutch league,a league that Ogbeche is tearing apart,so sadiq is now better than Ighalo.
you just disappointed me with this write up...
he was never given Apple time in Italy...
during preseason he played well...but roma never give him enough time to get used to the team...to play.....
he left for torino...the presence of a top Italian striker in the team limited his opportunities...and now in the dutch league..you're trying to berate same league...

same league taiwo awoniyi could not play up to his optimal capacity....but now in the Belgian league doing better....are you going to say the Belgian league is lower to the dutch league....
even mr ajagun in Holland didn't play this well the way he currently plays in the Belgian league...

you should know by now that football don't work that way.....players can be best suited for a particular team style of play or even a league...and that will aid them to shine.

Sadiq was better against the Japanese team .... during the Olympic , you guys re making it look as if other strikers that have not received call up from Rohr , are far better than the ones we have in the team , none of this strikers have attracted big club ... you guys should should calm down
I will rate him better than ighalo....
he has never impressed me...save for the Cameroon match....

please let's try other strikers...it is not about playing for a big club...that a striker delivers...
I remember Julius aghahowa was never in a big club....but he was always delivering whenever called upon.
even Samuel Aaron was still in China...when keshi keep.giving him a call up...but he was always saving keshi's face....

so some players I believe have that luck and potentials to deliver on the GWG than others....

Thats favoritism and sentimental bias by the selectors.

This is one of the issues dragging Nigerian football back is we rely on past youthful glories forgetting that youth football is totally on a duwff level than professional football.

How many games has Umar played as a professional and how many goals has he scoredhuh. His stats amount to just mere promise not even definite potential. He left Seria A to Belguim league he is 21 but he has not even really progressed. He is still in many respects an academy player.

It's not progression he is not outstanding in that league beyond his tall stature. He is not better than Dessers who is proven and tested at that lower level.

But none of them have played at a level or consistency to say they are SE level players that can add much needed quality or value.
just watch out...umar will gets invited...
he played well in the last Olympics....
he is surely a striker for now and the future...there is no sentiment there...

the Chinese league is only highly ranked on paper but in reality.....it is mere garbage

I wales could beat the Chinese national team....where all their players are product of the Chinese league so mercilessly...then it means that league has nothing good to write home about....little wonder they have never qualified for the world cup for a long time now....

the depth of a country's league reflects in their national team.......
so you still have no case for obagoal I know you're trying to discredit the call for umar reason because of obagoal...

You know it is considered wisdom to think before you speak and greater wisdom to think deeply before you write.

Aluko is actually 29 younger than the 2 best players in the world. And you called him an old manhuh Make fun by all means buy now you are making fun of yourself. What you have said about Aluko in its entirety nonsensical.

At the end of last season if he wanted too he would have been in the EPL. His CV does not need dusting up at all.

I stand to be corrected but in my objective opinion there are not up to 2/3 players in the current SE, that can contend with him in terms of quality, sheer skill end product and technical ability.
you are so quick to poach reasonable peeps on these thread...when there lies no wisdom in your words.....

why not talk straight to the young lady than start pour out empty advise....you can't even give to yourself....

so...regarding that you wrote..if aluko was that good why is he still in the championship?
or probably epl clubs refused sign him because he opt play for Nigeria.

you guys talk here...as if the rest of us don't watch football at all.....
a good player don't stay in the championship for over a season...same championship tega wrote his name on the platter of gold...and only to get play in the epl the next season...

only in your imagination...aluko better than 4,5 6 super eagles players.....

sometimes prior your write up...tell yourself those words you put up in your first paragraph....you need it more.

I don't know if I'm alone in this but does what you are saying make any sense. Have you considered what you have written here.

Your negative prejudice has so beclouded your judgement that your exposing yourself to ridicule.

Actually confused how to reply.

I think you are confused and you have confused Mr too . Or maybe your teenager and you are showing youthful exuberance. I find your post crazy humour.

Someone help how do I reply to this.

1. Because Aluko was not selected for the 3 Lions he's not good enough for Nigeria.

2. Why suggest Aluko a mediocre player according to you.

3. Trying to pass him down our throat.

4. I am devoid of objectivity and I am sentimentaly prejudiced.

5. I can not make similar remarks in England - I totally don't know what you mean here. Explain??!

I will leave others to respond to your propositions and determine what delusional imaginary misguided deductions they are anchored upon . Lol.

But I will say one thing, Aluko is 29 if he had the good fortune to have been born in Nigeria, he would be no more than 25.

Aluko was capped at youth level and selected for England U19 but jettisoned England and chose Nigeria to play U20.

I will drop a few links from authoritative bodies and you can decide if he's a MEDIOCRE player.

Friendzone is more complicated than what you think. It comes with juju-like attachment. Friendzone is never the intention of the opposite sex but due to men's insistence and peservance. in most cases, it is even the men that will pitifully say to the woman, "i know you have a man and i respect that. i respect the fact you do not want to cheat on him but we can always remain friends". that is how ot starts. the man will be hoping that the woman would yield.
I have always find myself in the situation....
