The two games we have lost under Rohr had Ekong- Awaziem partnership... I'm not blaming them oo.. but Omeruo should b the one to deputize for Balogun.. Save for the costly blunders he make at times, I think Omeruo is still a decent player in the GWG
and you are citing the Zambian match...?
it's like you've forgotten that ikeme kept us in that game...had it been it was any of these other goalies....it would have been a different story...even omeruo gift the Zambians a goal in that match....

Abi ooo. For the people forming Arséne Wenger of 15/16 season talking about "Cohesion" and "team spirit" as an excuse not to try out players are seeing it. We need an AM. Aluko should be invited for the next friendly. I don't mind trying out Samuel Kalu and Dessers for flair and attacking options.
why don't you go invite aluko yourself for rohr....?
what has aluko played this season?

dude will come in now and play trash... then we all will resort to start calling for another average player somewhere...to come boss the midfield....

you don't know that angle is necessary for Komekn's narrative?

I did not know our defense is filled with players from La Liga and EPL......BTW, of what use were the Premier League forwards in our team or even that Premier League midfielder from Serbia? grin

The Championship must be better than EPL
Lol...something tells me he only watched the match to see how good his English based players play......
his loyalty I think is more attached to anything England first....before Nigeria.

I don't blame him though....
I think rohr would have just field ajayi,Agbo,Gabriel and co...better we loose wit those guys...at least one can say...the Serbians played out weakest team...but with this loss....it gonna reduce so much confidence the fans have on these lads...
even me...my mind don dey shake

3 - 5 - 2 is the Answer. We've got too many Wing-backs in the Team than Full-backs.

Moreso.... I expect Rohr to trust Omeruo over Awaziem, and Agbo shouldn't be invited anymore.

I won't write off Joel yet, I wanna see his Combo with Mikel first.
I don't wanna see anything again....
let Rohr do anything he think best....

But at least he got invited ahead of dessert and co that u guys said are miles ahead him
it's like you have no idea...that sometimes chance and luck play a role in a man's success or fortunate drive...

let me make you understand...going by club ranks...shehu on paper wasn't qualified for the national team call up....many here will downplay his invitation...but dude took his opportunity well and never disappoint on the GWG...and the rest today is history....

same way it is....with ajayi...he may get invitee ahead of kayode, dessers and co but that doesn't mean he is better....

another case of note is Samuel kalu in belguim....so sometimes the best may not always get invited for obvious reasons known to the coach....

so please stop crying like one who just own a lottery he has been deprived of...dude has not even kicked a ball yet...not even sure if he gonna play... i will be happy he gets to play though...because his success will add more flavour to the team.....

Considering what we have, I would not fault your selection.

However, Ogu lacks pace and so does Mikel. I need a midfielder to back track quickly and cover ground.

For sure that's not Mikel role although he also lacks pace.

Therefore playing against a fast paced team in the world cup will leave us exposed. My preference is for Onazi.

With this team and the Nigerian gra gra mentality I expected quarter finals.

Add Obagoal and Aluko then Semi final
those two players will never make rohr world cup list....I can bet on that...
none of them will get called....
so the earlier you excuse yourself from that fantasy the better.

you put up good words and analysis up there..only to spoil it with the aluko and obagoal desire....

please let's support the super eagles regardless of our individual interest...I observe even if rohr should give a call up to all players we all long for on this thread...so many of us will still not be pleased....

I was thinking by now...citing the impossibility of including any of your British boys...in the super eagles set up for Russia... (the time for change of allegiance will take quite a longer time)
will make you change your mind for the time being support the crop of players we currently have...but that wasn't the case...rather you have chosen to keep crying for the inclusion of players...players that will never make the team...and I can bet you gonna keep chantinv for this guys even two days to the world cup....

Tell them oh.

There is an overpowering smell of hypocritical double standard.
let me educate you a little...
dude never rejects Nigeria call up for obvious reasons you claim...he did so citing reasons that he is not there yet..and there are areas he still need to work on....

shortly afterwards his dad talked wit the nff on his behalf...giving the assurance that the next time he will be called upon he will gladly honor the invitation...which the lad did...

your lorfa is no way up to ebuehi shoes...
in skill, abilities and techniques...
I have told you severally because you live the UK shouldn't make you ignorant....you can simply Google this things online and read up....rather than cry double standard on things you have no knowledge of their happenings...

Nigeria was always the second option for Iorfa and his father, they were holding out for England and they felt their chances where brighter at Iorfa's young age.

The plan was that he'd play for England if the invitation came or if they showed any interest, but if there is no interest before 23 then they'd fall back to their 2nd choice. They wanted to play a fast one on us.

You're the one always harping it into our heads that 19 in football terms is no longer a young age. A player is supposed to have made those decisions even before 20. If I approach you when I need you and you turn me down citing a hogwash as excuse, best believe, when you need me, I won't even look you twice.

We are a moving train, we stopped for him and he refused to hop on, we've moved on. He should join the next train(England) if he thinks he possesses the necessary boarding pass(talent).
the problem now...is even the ilorfa is not as good as he was before...not even close to aina's level...I doubt rohr will overlook him..had it been he plays quality football

Don't think Onyedinma merits it anymore he is off the boil, needs to get a better club or improve from kick and rush football.

Aluko has already been capped and did very well but did not agree to settle. His quality is known and his intention to play for Nigeria is also known.

Not Rohr but some officials have excluded him.
even if he does not merit it..now
what stopping him from visiting rohr...I don't think those visiting currently merit it...even tosin....but you got to show your readiness sometimes....

aluko I don't think is really bothered not playing for Nigeria...because if he was...he would have pay a visit to rohr...forget all those your lies against the nff...if he really wanna play..he should see the coach...a respectable German is in charge now...and not a Nigerian....

don't start tell me...those currently invited all pay for their call ups....
because you and forgiveness are always looking for something or someone to blame for the predicaments of the players you both promote here.....

why didn't the nff stop oliseh from inviting obagoal...?
your allegations against the nff lack substance...and deart of fact...

Tell me one club in the EPL or Championship in England that offered him a contracthuh

So playing in Kasimpasa will pay more than the championshiphuh Do you really think sohuh

How much is the highest player in Kasimpasa on annually. There are a lot of championship players on over £50k a week.

The reality is he knows he will not be able to get a club to pay him big bucks in the championship sadly true, he simply is not rated highly. For him Turkey was probably a better option maybe. Than testing himself against better players and getting a move to the EPL.
so because he failed to get an English club to sign him...means he is not good enough?
you see your problem...you always judge everything from the prism of your little mind...fisted and mould only after English foot ball....

Did you or did you not say I am only interested in English born players huh huh YES OR NO huh

I have talked about Etebo but then you will say I am tribalistic.

You are so emotively prejudiced you forgot to talk about all the Nigerian origin players from the UK that I said are not good enough.

To substantiate your position why not state all the UK players I have talked about in the context of the SEhuh

You may then find yourself learning about yourself and your inability to be objective. It take humility to learn not pride.

I can say conclusively from the past that there was a culture of settlement and appeasement to retain your position in the NFF.

I even know a player who was captain of the national team expected to pay appeasement to show his gratitude.

Nice one, just some few changes, My starting lineup.

..........................Uzoho

Ebuehi....... Ekong...... Awaziem...... Aina

................Agbo............Onazi.............

Iwobi..................Joel Obi............. Victor Moses

...............................Ajayi ..........

Subs: Omeruo, Ogu , Simon Moses, Iheanacho

Uzoho needs all the Experience and exposure he can get, so he should start. Ezenwa has played at a higher stage than him. He needs the exposure to be at par in comparison with Ezenwa, after all he has shown more propects than Ezenwa .

Agbo needs this friendly badly, so he must start. Ebuehi and Ogu were once in that situation but they among the favourites today after they were given their chances. We must see his quality. Who knows the stomach wey go born the Messiah? undecided

Ajayi has been doing well in the Egyptian League which earned him his invite. If he performs well like he does in the Egyptian League, good for him. If he pulls a Nwakaeme on us, we will give him a Nwakaeme treatment. So he needs to start so that there will be no excuse of limited playing time.

the rest can come in from the bench if neccessiary.
perfect line up...but please let Moses Simon start ahead of iwobi...Alex can come in at half time...
