we will get a replacement after the World Cup....the time is too short between now and World Cup to start doing trial and error with possible replacwments
even during the world cup...God forbid any injury or suspension...iwobi can play that role for the time being.....

after the world cup...
hopefully we get onomah or possibly kelechi nwakali step up to take that role....

Claude Puel on Musa not playing

He’s a good player with quality. For me he’s not a striker, he’s a winger who can play on the left or right,” Puel explained.
“He can attack space, has good penetration but there’s imbalance in competition with (Marc) Albrighton, (Demarai) Gray and (Riyad) Mahrez.
“Sometimes it’s tough, it’s difficult for the staff to make a choice and give him more game time but in training sessions he always has a positive attitude and this is very important for him and the squad.”

what's the essence of showering praises on him...and still not name him in his 18 man squad....?

What The NFF Is Doing To Cap The Likes Of Olosunde, Uwakwe, Amaechi? Pinnick Replies

Nigeria Football Federation boss Amaju Pinnick has revealed that key officials are working behind the scenes in their bid to invite foreign-born Nigerian talents to Nigeria's national teams.

The likes of Matthew Olosunde (Manchester United), Xavier Amaechi (Arsenal), Tariq Uwakwe (Chelsea), Dennis Adeniran (Everton) and Tayo Edun (Fulham) are eligible to represent Nigeria's youth teams but presently turn out for their countries of births.

Pinnick has stated that NFF Vice President Seyi Akinwumi has set the ball rolling but diplomatically refused to mention the foreign-born talents they have approached over a potential call-up in the near future.
Recently, American-born Arsenal-linked striker Lateef Omidiji Jnr was bound to play for the United States U17 team until he was convinced by Akinwumi to wait for his chance with the Golden Eaglets.

''I have the first Vice President Seyi Akinwumi, he is also a member of the CAF Youth Committee, he's doing a lot in that regard,''
.
''Only last week there were some messages he sent to me for approval and I gave him the go ahead.

''You can imagine the caliber of youth players coming in, we will be able to select them, we will be able to put them in our database but we can't come and start saying because this same Nigerians will call them and discourage them from coming.''
As many as six players of Nigerian descent eligible to represent the Flying Eagles - Fikayo Tomori, Joshua Onomah, Dominic Solanke, Ademola Lookman, Sheyi Ojo and Ovie Ejaria - assisted the Young Lions win the FIFA U20 World Cup in the summer.

EVERTON DOCTORS REVEALS ONYEKURU INJURY NOT SERIOUS

Everton doctors have determined that Henry Onyekuru’s knee injury is not grievous as was widely reported. The young striker will be out for only six weeks and not six months.
Onyekuru
The player was reportedly examined by Everton doctors and the MRI scans of the injury have revealed that he may not be needing surgery but minor treatment. Onyekuru has been allowed to return to Belgium to recuperate.
Onyekuru hurt his knee at the weekend during a league game with Anderlecht at former club KAS Eupen.
Initial media reports suggested his season was effectively over and that could also mean his hopes of playing at the World Cup in Russia.
good news...he should please stay back in England until after he recuperate.
that coach is bad influence on his health...

imagine a coach opening his mouth to say the injury gonna last for 6 months in a bid to keep him in the dark not because Doctors told him so...

Abeg relax because you don't understand my post at all. Martins is your trigger point. Once you see his name you seem to lose your mind. If you cannot recognise a tongue in cheek comment in the context of my discussion with goldfish80 then na you sabi because his reply to my tongue in cheek comment about Martins is one I am yet to figure out cos it seems he got my drift and gave it back intelligently to me.

And beyond the tongue in cheek comment on Martins in context, I support wholeheartedly his invitation to the SE. If that makes me erratic then it's my erraticness not yours. Quit telling me to drop it. You can as well ignore my post. Happy holidays
good to you come out boldly to say it...
you're one of the crew that want martins in the team....using the filmsy excuse of him being a super striker that will come change things around....

you see sir forgiveness and komekn theure sure straightforward in this talk....

I am not turning a blind eye. I am saying in spite of that what matters for the SE is that the goal return in the SE is healthy and I will hold that as a positive. Perhaps Martins will be brought in and everything will be just fine, I hope.

what is Martins doing in the super eagles...
you talking to contradict yourself...how many many goals did he score for his Chinese team...this past season...?

you talking as if the player in question is one messi or Ronaldo....

with over 12 goals scored during the qualifiers.....

I would have to disagree with you here. Solanke would definetly not have the same number of goals with Iheanacho. Solanke plays for Liverpool, a team that has scored more than 3 goals so many times this season and yet he has ZERO goals, atleast when Iheanacho was playing for City he had the goals to show for it. The hype on Solanke has to be reduced, the boy and Iheanacho are either equal or Iheanacho edges him

I can say this to you categorically Bournemouth and Brighton will not buy him and will not play him.

It would be even worse than Leicester.

West Ham possibly but I doubt it.
I remember some years back after his exploits in the under 17....

a friend of mine who was a Barcelona fan so addicted to Spanish football.....
told me...that if nancho is properly and well groomed he gonna challenge for world best in the future....

I beleived him abit reason because of nancho talent I saw during the cadet mundial....
he really made the wrong move....illetracy and ill counsellors are the worst things happening to our crop of talented players....

leaving england....from man city possibly to Germany or French... (monaco) would have been better for his career and can as well return to England....after some years then...he would have become a better player.....

I am so pained seeing him going through this...he is a promising young lad.....

against Luxemburg, Tanzania, Cameroon etc.......

the thing is,they usually run far away from the thread so that no one would force them to eat their words in shame, whenever SE wins a major game or tourney, only to resurface after we must have forgotten them.
i still remember a certain dude here that all his problem was Mikel,
whenever Mikel is mentioned,he must come to talk against him.
to him,Mikel is our worst player then,
before the Olympics,he was all over shouting how Mikel is going flop at Olympics, those of us tried to counter him that Mikel is our engine room.
But after the Olympics he was no where to be seen,up till now, that we cannot do well without Mikel.
i just want to see that guy since Mikel started proving him wrong beyond any reasonable doubt.
all these myopic people shouting down Iheanacho, now that he is having bit difficulty in his career, just like the case of Mikel, they will crawl back into their holes, and hide ,or change their moniker,
when Iheanacho bounces back
I will be so happy should nancho start to get playing time....

moreover I won't mind should him and musa keep playing for the reserves....
I trust rohr to suggest that....
I just want both of them to stay fit for the world cup....

Frankly speaking I dont think Iheanacho will thrive in a fast pace setting with intense football like Premiership but is it not beginning to look like we are making excuses for him. However, Iheanacho's biggest challenge is not pace but simple and elementary ball control! Iheanacho need to stop running and face the music...How many years is it gonna take him to fix his miserable first touch. People are here blaming the coach but just the other day Iheanacho gave away a pass that resulted to a goal against his team. I swear , if I was his coach I will turn him to a ball boy...which kind thing be this ?

He need to buy a personal trainer to work on his first touch.
