what they expect can come in various ways...
maybe vet a coach list of invited players?
tell him the players to invite and not to invite...?
remind him of the task ahead....and need to invite players ready to give their all?
the latter is kind of more acceptable... but I will let you make know what they're likely going to tell the coach......
by the way...what are their qualifications as regard the round leather game...that will make them...to start framing tactics and vetting a coach list...?

I tell you some of these agent like vultures are currently eyeing Chan tournament not because they wanna win laurels perse but as an avenue for them to market..... and get their players to obscure leagues in eastern Europe or possibly north Africa.....
many chanting for the inclusion of home based lads in the SE set up all these while....were doing so for same motive.

some other time... these young men are weary of these greedy club management.... who are only bent on milking the juice from their contracts remember the first Sunday MBA proposed move to France that failed .....
the money often made from their transfers or that accrued to the clubs from their move to Europe... cannot be accounted for.....often go down to personal pockets

Be wise. I started with 20k and left after 3 months to 50k...after a year left for 120k stayed there till 200k and left to collect 150k...I went back for a reason. To acquire a certain experience....now I am projecting 300k next year...

Sometimes, it is not everyone that get that big job...you must be calculative. You can start small but don't stay small.

the problem I think with the loss was how we got totally outplayed with no worthy plan B. it wasn't just the loss, this guy that led us to the 2010 world cup although we didn't qualify from the group stage but we still wanted to retain him because we actually played very well against top teams too. this loss was embarrassing that too against SA, perennial underachievers.....and don't give me that crap that they are now a strong team, they almost beat us the last time but still got humiliated at the nation's cup

I did not read any article. I saw an article posted here and I did not even read its contents. My first look at the list with all the old guns was that, it was poor. I read some thoughts on social media that reinforced my first impressions.

Which one is CHAN experience? Any player in the local league can play in CHAN. What about some of the players with continental experience?

As I said before their jobs/careers are tied to the success of the team. So how can you feel they will pick goalies that will fail them.

Yes no coach is perfect but coaches quite often select players to suit their playing style and philosophy.
