Mickael2: So when the service did not come what did he do as the 'world class' player he is? He didn't bring others into the game, that's the basic point here
Still don't understand why keep painting the lad black just to nail him... Sum up courage to tell us that you just don't like him near the SE. ...similar hatred you once had towards onazi and mikel. ...
zicky: Moses shield 2 players and Nacho shield no one only tapped the ball to Etebo, guy fear god. Bros which is more efficient, lobbing the ball to a target man or playing a defence splitting pass
Just leave him...his hatred for macho is waxing stronger by the day.....
Just yesterday the northern youths were already accusing the south westerners for play gimmicks wit buhari health...warning them that what happened in yar adua's era will never repeat itself. ....they will fight it to the end. I just don't want bloodshed again in these country....during GEJ era it was bomb blast everywhere and now no one knows what will happen should anything happen to PMB
BascoVanVeli: I didn't read it, I watched him say it on Naija Made he was with Lobi if I am not mistaken. His said he would play at age 23 there was no thinking about anything.
Ok ....I believe you but for now ...the young lad is not SE material yet....because extending call up to him...is grossly injustice because he has done nothing to merit it...
Icon4s: Or is he being suggested to keep goal against Cameroon?
You know my stance on these young players has not changed.
LOL...... We are just talking of the future. ....we need nurture a young goal keeper that will grow be the best he can be..... Remember enyeama wasn't that good when he started but he gradually grew to the man he is now.... He had his debut while still a teenager and started manning SE post when he was less 25 So we can start up wit same....dele being sought after to replace Carl is already 33
BascoVanVeli: Rohr has always been in charge of his list. U can't use the past to judge the future. Maybe u are just vexing just in case they did something, if so right on.
BascoVanVeli: All i have ever heard him say was that his son will play for us when he clocks 23. I never once heard about him saying it was a might. Remember he was employed by an NPFL club. I guess you always go in the negative direction because IMO the real question is why every single championship club would pass on a kid that talented? My take is that this is the English FA at work.
Only you read and heard him...say His son will play for Nigeria when he clock 23....because what I read him say...was His son gonna make a decision on his international allegiance when he is 23
BascoVanVeli: So we should just sack people on the ground that they are old? These guys have a right to earn a living that's a simple human right that u want to violate all in the name of promoting non mediocrity I guess.
I will never in my life stand in the way of a grown man trying to get paid. That said the leagues were Vietnam and Morocco. Christian Obiozor was one of them but now we know he didn't go to Morocco because he is at Orlando Pirates after sitting out more than a year. How mediocre is that?
You still didn't read my comment... I said the progression should be gradual.... why then go awol just to whisk to RSA for trials i presume......? His club was looking for him....meaning He left witout the knowledge of the management o his club....
BascoVanVeli: Why are u still talking about fake news..who is forcing Rohr to do anything? If u want to insult these guys man up and say u hate them and don't hide behind fake news.
Come on bro . You're talking as if these allegations of undue interference by some of these guys is something new....it has always Happened wit all SE coaches. ....hope you can still remember keshi era vividly..... So I am not Insulting anyone.....
tbaba1234: The U-turn by Iorfa, now that his England career is essentially over is unfortunately the theme amongst many young Nigerian players. They hold out for England till there is no chance, then they start talking of playing for Nigeria. Ameobi, Onuoha, Agbonlahor etc
As an ex international, Dominic Iorfa should have been easy but the Dad did not want him playing for Nigeria. Now he is league 1 and they are announcing interest. To help revive his career?
Don't mind him....young okocha was wise enough to catch on this to establish his nephew in the super eagles team.... I tell you...playing for the super eagles has earn iwobi so much respect in England....where folks like loftus cheek, chaloba and co....are still hoping play someday for England....iwobi is already an international....in a renowned football nation
BascoVanVeli: The boy is 22 and has played almost 100 car eer games. At 6'4 he is a giant at full back. Let's stop catching feelings, we all know we won't call up a league one player but he is still one of us. The fact is only God can determine how much playing for Nigeria means to a player.
I never said he he is not one of us ... But you see....Dominic lorfa senior was never sincere....deep down he wanted his son play for England....Reason why He keep saying when he clock 23 he will make a decision i on his international future.... By then to him....if His son never gets 3 lion's call up he can then switch to Nigeria
BascoVanVeli: Are u willing to provide food on the table for the older player's families? If they are good enough they are young enough. Anything else is discrimination.
Is football the only man means of livelihood? Moreover what I proffered should be a gradual progression You're always defending mediocrity all in the guise of trying to be humane....forgetting folks meritocracy will feed and help attain giant strides....I said these because you once defend these npfl players en mass move to league's of vietnam, Malaysia where many sign slave contracts.....
Dominic lorfa junior just got signed by Ipswich town....a second tier club(league 1) on loan. no wonder his father now want him play for Nigeria ...it is becoming glaring that his son will never play for England..... I wish the young lad the best....he should raise his game and get to play in the EPL only then will he he called to SE....for now he is simply not good enough....
so pathetic....I remember a friend sometime ago....told me similar story of hers being used severally by a grown up man who was old enough to father her when she was just 8 years old....reason she never told her mom was because she was threatened and so scared of her mom....her mom wasn't her friend.... and later in life...these my lady friend now bed wet...it really affected her all through the period we were together..... I think mothers should learn strike a bond wit their daughters and be close to them...the kind of world we living in now is getting dangerous....
It is either Odemwengie increased his age or the aforementioned players reduced their age.
osaze was born in Russia there was a time he was invited for an age grade team...that was below his age.his father cried out that his son has gone pass that age and he was promoted to the senior national team immediately. his age is true
HBD to Odemwingie(white commentators be like, "it's O-DAMN-WIN-GI !!" Lol
he was born in Russia.. he has possession of a Russian passport so he is obviously playing wit his true age...otherwise he would have retired by now...
PrecisionFx: That's what happens wen a nation has a useless labour union.
That There's unemployment doesn't mean citizens should become slaves.
Nigerians really need to start rejecting job offers en mass. Our poor education system failed to teach us that too...
my brother to be honest wit you...It saddens me sometimes make me depressed after making a good 2.1 from the university..... some employers will still make one look useless.... some believe you've no potentials at all
PrecisionFx: All these things apply abroad, Not in Nigeria. For example ask for a raise n get sacked. 1 thousand fools have queued behind u to do the same work @ half the amount.
My boss keep telling us that all the time... That they're many doing much tasking job for a less pay out there..... Where as our pay is not even something to talk about for a graduate
And the private firms will still be threatening these innocent staffs wit sack every time.... Many have gone derode the confidence of these workers with these constant threat...as some employees have come believe that there is no better job elsewhere or not good enough and the company doing them a huge favor for employing them...as a result they can't confront the management as regard their salariesfor fear of being fired
Thats a good one... I think he is the team currant 3rd choice goal keeper after his recent promotion from the feeders traam....I think the la liga team will benefit more from Nigeria if they go for our academy players....just like the seria A, Norwegian, Belgian, clubs....young and hungry talents are better found there..... I still maintain that the npfl should be restructured....an under 18 tournament should be held and 70% of every team players should not be older than 20 at least 17-20 years
junnyjake: I don't argue against anyone demonizing any of these Nigerian agencies, caz their greed is on a whole new level.
Their inability to be beyond the present is what makes most of the European teams take them less seriously.
If these guys decide to act professionally, I believe they'd earn maximum respect and money would come in abundance for them.
As it is now, they are causing serious harm to the development of our stars.
Moreso even many of the young lads going into football now are doing so because of the money it fetch and when these money is not forthcoming they resist to which ever move to seek greener pastures elsewhere not minding their career at risk all because they wanna make cool.cash
junnyjake: I kinda agree with you, the teams should relax the rules as regards players going to Europe for trials during the season. At least they can get something from the sign-on/sale-on fees if a deal materializes as a result.
To me the agents are being the ones irresponsible here. Encouraging players to go against club's management decisions not to release players for trials.
What if things don't work out? Like the "Stephen Odey" saga? Would the club be as forgiving as MFM FC?
Let me tell you something bro.... Many of these players are not owned by these clubs but academics There is always the issue of a 3rd party ownership as regards players rights in Nigeria. ..
TheGoodJoe: It is up to the coach to accept to bounce off a few ideas of the Technical committee. If he does not want to bounce off, then the coach is well within his right.
That is what we are against, the NFF Technical Committee vetting his tactics or ideas.
Humility017: and you support these NFF technical committee interference?
BascoVanVeli: There is nothing wrong with bouncing a few ideas off of some of our best ever players.
There is something wrong if the coach is to bounce off their ideas against his wishes.
Why should a group of ex internationals who had no coaching badges or have taken up coaching courses vet the list and tactics of a coach What do They know about tactics or players potential? Rohr have done so much within the short space of time..him.and yusuf have been able to lure the likes of ebuehi, bazee, aina, etc to play for Nigeria while the so ex internationals wanna sit somewhere vet coaches lists after travelling far to go visit, cuddle, assure these players....if they were really concerned let them start asking the nff to set up an under 20 and under 16 team from the last npfl promise under 15 tournament...early preparation for the next cadet nations and world cup won't be a bad path...they can get busy wit that.
They can proffer advise and recommendations but the coach should never be compelled to adopt them... None are as experienced as rohr when it comes to africa football. ...good they've all played football but few know what coaching and man management entails.... They should go relax somewhere and let the coach work
QueenOfNepal: I ll make sure me and my hubby do only traditional then court wedding.
No reception.
The merriment took place in the traditional so after court wedding. Honey moon things.
Same wedding ceremony I have made up my mind to do.....a very low key traditional wedding. ...indoor just my parents and uncles and aunties and her people.... There after court wedding the next day and reception afterwards.....we can go see the pastor in his office to bless the wedding...
jchioma: Economy is not smiling at all o! However, I'm not given to ostentatious lifestyle, so it should be something modest. The Traditional will gulp more. Court is cheap and simple. We will free the Church ceremony. Give or take, a budget of N250k will do.
And you're ibo ryt? Don't think that money will be enough for any man who wanna marry an ibo lady let alone offset his marriage bills
