The problem is we can’t be who we are not. We have to play as a team to have the advantage. Unfortunately this is not the case.
we can't play as a team with a selfish ighalo upfront.

give some reasonable and tactical sound coaches this Nigeria team and watch them do wonders....

Rohr should be sacked after this tourney

Neither of them are good tacticians
Keshi is save for greed and questionable call ups and player selections...

I doubt if Rohr can ever achieve such

Cameroon na jam body football let’s not forget
and so.... we won them in 2004 by simply techniques and smartness.
in that match kanu played even passed the ball for utaka's goal, osaze played too and we took our chances so well.

you don't have to jam body to win them... I it requires jam body they would have been winning light skinned countries in the world cups... since 2002.

we need to utilize our chances.... so well.

I heard EVERYBODY will play with red eyes.. Osimehen doesn't need red eyes. just give him all those half chances.. it's a Gooooal. lol

And for Rohr Please give Balogun personal training on how to score own goals. defensive coach. Ogu prolly played to instruction.
Ighalo is killing our football...the earlier we know this the better for us.

Dude is also selfish...very selfish.

balogun have no problem...I won't blame him much for that errors....ogu does not sense of his own too...
for a player that have played football that long not to be able to read games shows the problem we have in that team...

balogun and other defenders...should be made to know that we expect them to score from set pieces...

they barely know how to put their heights to use...so pathetic.
sometimes I try find the German traits in him.... Germans make use of corner kicks like penalties... but this one and his uncle coach are something else

Yes, your President is ddumb and so are the people that voted for him. I didnt vote because I am not in the country but if I were I would have voted Atiku because of Peter Obi who is from my state. I said Obi because I know how he turned Anambra around. And, I know he will not sit and let Atiku rape the country....Peter Obi forced Obasanjo to sleep in the governors lodge and refused to pay for a hotel...He is fearless, prudent and wealthy. He was made before politics. This is not tribal because I dont do tribal politics...Its for iidiots....also, calling me IPOB shows how dimwitted you are.

Osimhen can be used as a sub if/when the need arises.

Besides, it is not compulsory u feature all the players u take to a tournament.
Oga to be honest...even nacho is more clinical as at present than Ighalo...

he is not a clinical forward...
oshimen have proven to be a good finisher and a clinical forward in a modest club in Belgium.

sometimes the least expected players steal the show.... if oshimen was a Cameroonian he will be starting their matches.

let's play him...he is a better finisher and goal scorer than ighalo.

I remember when ighalo was in his age at the under 20 world cup then... he was a far less better player..

if oshimen being a teenager can be this deadly let's play him....

it is risky not to take a risky

most times Ighalo need like 5 clear cut chances to score one goal for the super eagles....

where will you get that from in a tournament like afcon.

I think if ROHR really knows what is good for him...he should play oshimen instead.
kalu should be benched too....

let musa and chuks start from the flanks...
iwobi play 10 ndidi and etebo to support him as the CM and DM respectively and leave Leon and Omeruo as the CB pairing...I Collins is fit..he should start on the LB and Aina to the RB.

a 4-2-1-3 will do...

there is nothing basically wrong with the various formations that have been deployed just that the players have been wrongly used by Rohr

Official : Ex-Liverpool Starlet Adekanye Completes Move To Lazio

Nigerian-born winger Bobby Adekanye is now officially a player of Italian Serie A club Lazio.

The Biancoceleste have already deposited the four-year contract signed by Adekanye with the Lega Serie A.

Liverpool had offered the 20-year-old a fresh deal to extend his stay at Anfield but he rejected the proposal.

Though the Netherlands U20 international trained with The Reds first team, he departs the club without making his professional debut.

He opted not to pen a new three-year contract with Liverpool after he was left out of Jurgen Klopp’s first team pre-season tour of the United States in 2018.

Adekanye previously played for the youth academies of Ajax Amsterdam, Barcelona and PSV before his move to Liverpool four years ago.

this is the only thing ROHR is good at....
he is good in recruiting these foreign born players.....but he can't use and maximize their potentials.
we can't trust an indigenous coaches with getting this talents to play for us...
they will first go after and recruit the home based lads all because of the cuts they will get from their signings abroad....
corruption just the bane of our football

ROHR is really agbaya..

his CHAN team too in 2014 started on same pace....

with those players he took to afcon... rarely would have give them a chance...

but Rohr is not tactical and does not know how to use this players...

Your no.1 and 2 question has the same answer. and it's directly related to ur answer to my question. This squad of ours is talented but young and inexperienced same with the 2013 set.. The same way u doubted the 2013 set is what u are doing with this current set....
The same criticism u are throwing at Rohr now is the same u threw at Keshi after our group games in 2013!
Guess what, Keshi's team turned it all around and emerged champions. Why don't u have some faith in this team too?
Did the events of 2013 not teach u anything at all? ..
I just smh for u .

Well as regard ur last question, hell no!! either they get him a tactically sound assistant or sack him!
that was keshi nah... keshi is a better tactician than rohr.
Rohr is just reaping from the talents at his disposal...tactically he is very poor

What makes u so sure that Findi would have done a better job with the u-20 than Aigboun? Didn't Aighoun also have a UEFA coaching badge ?

Findi probably missed out on the job cus on paper Aigboun was more qualified than him.. Findi and the rest of our UEFA license carrying ex internationals should go and look for clubs to coach even if it's an assistant coach role...

Kolo Toure joined Brendan Rodgers backroom staff immediately after he retired and would soon take over ivory coast national team ..
but he worked for Malaga academy some time ago...

it is not easy for him to get a European club to coach....
and for Aigbogun....he is the most miserable coach presently.
you can't take that away from him..... pls.

Finidi would have done better because vatse of his football experience is mainly from the dutch and Spanish football...that's a plus

Aigbogun still qualified Nigeria to U20 world cup.

I learnt his team placed 2nd in the NPFL and h was crucial part of Enyimba's success this season.

The problem I see with local coaches is selection.
if you want a local coach...
ogunbote will do better...

Lol... Let him do something with other small and unknown clubs in the NPFL and I will take him serious.
kadiri Ikhana achieved winning the NPFL with the highest point ever with enyimba and he even had the highest unbeaten record... you didn't recommend him but go ask for Aigbogun who could not make tactical sub and changes in the last cadet world cup and even read games for the super eagles....

you baffles me....

enyimba is the Barcelona or the bayern Munich of the NPFL...any average coach can achieve anything like the 2nd place team with them....
so that's not a feet.

Whether we like it or not, this game right here is the shock of the tournament.

I don't care if we go far or not but losing the game is criminal especially with Chukwueze, Osimhen and Onyekuru on that bench!!!

You wanna keep making changes and you could not rest Etebo and Musa to play the Ndidi-Mikel-Iwobi midfield trio and have Chukwueze and Kalu on both wings or even Chukwueze and Onyekuru.

You cannot rest Ighalo and give the ever hungry and Never tiring Osimhen a chance.
