I want us to prepare for the fact that we may underperform again just like we did in WC 2018 when it mattered.

We just seem to have collective amnesia in naija, that is why some rulers will go to prison yet still win election while in that prison or while undergoing investigation
you shock me wallahi...

but you see super eagles we will this afcon.
not gonna be easy sha but we will win..it..

Off, I'm not for or against any argument... You hear

I just pointed out a flaw in his statement....that's all.
when you are pointing out flaws endeavour to make it balanced.

you sound as if the presence of Sane in Germany team in russia would
have save them from leaving in the first round.

France left out players the coach had no issues with as a person... he picked those
that match his team philosophy and kind of play and he ran with it... it worked
but the german coach i think left out Sane due to some personal issues he had with the Lad
and not because of the lad absence i wll say cost them the round of 16.

then that brings me to the BIG QUESTION....
who will you and forgiveness likened rohr to amongst the two national team coaches?
Does Rohr have any issue against awoniyi or the other mentioned players being omitted?

then if Rohr falls in the category of the france coach then let's act like the french and let him be
let's watch out may be the france miracle will play out.

what do you think bro?

Ps; I didn't bring up Awoniyi's issue in the first place. Someone did and I am only responding.
then drop the issue it is becoming stale...
you didn't bring it up do well to drop it then...
Rohr drafted that list.... he is the coach and will feel the heat more
because should the team under perform he will surely loose his job
his coaching experience is no fluke

it's like you've not gone through these countries players list.....especially that of Ghana on paper....Nigeria/Morocco should be given the nation's cup. but when the tournament starts proper...you will know that; club football or playing for a big European club is different from Africa football especially as regard the Egyptians.

same Egyptian league players have help won AFCON trophy for a record 3 times in a row....I think.

And for the three seasons no decent club came for him. Even a Turkish club.

The point is, he will never be considered by any National team. That's the point.

For example, if Iceland or Denmark has a player who scored 10 goals in the Eredivise and a player who scored 27 goals in the Danish league, they will pick the one in the Eredivise again and again.

That's how poorly National team coaches rates the Danish league.
i think aston villa once took interest in him...and mind you some of these players do have unreasonable and lazy agents
who simply can't negotiate deals for their players..so i won't blame him with that

that's european national teams but often time it does not work that way...
the iceland team that did so much miracle in the last euro nations cup were basically unknow and fishermen, doctors etc
likewise the wales team that played so well..had Robson-kanu who was clubless at that time.

likewise the Greece team that did wonders in portugal 2004 were not know players, also the portuguese who had the winning goal in the last euro was an unknow player.

so the fact a player is playing in a more advanced league don't actually transcend to a better national team performance
