That's the person many here are rooting for to be super eagles coach A man that fail as a coach in Tanzania, Egypt and Zambia and even Nigeria under 20. A complete mediocre coach |

AndSunGorilla: Am just so happy that Osimhen didn't go to the club that seems lately to be wrecking careers and putting exceptional players to shame. Imagine, one of the GOATs was disgraced out of the club, look at one the finest young English prospect in the Bundesliga at some point disgraced, a multiple champions league midfielder now no more relevant, or do we talk about the fine young talent from Crystal Palace so full of promise, hmmm, how about the Camerounian goalie now turned into bottomless basket? Na wa o!!!! Osimhen, God really loves you.
Na just play o In England Arsenal, Chelsea or Newcastle (that's if Ishak leaves) is the best for him in England. Man utd is never an option for an ambitious young lad |

Hanibal: I also think another problem with the Nigerian league that people hardly pay attention to is fatigue occasioned by teams having to travel long distances on our bad roads to play away matches.... Imagine if shooting stars is to play Doma United, they will have to travel almost 20hrs ( that's assuming a smooth journey) by road to the match venue, and arrive a few hours to the match! That's a huge advantage for the home team already! So the best the away team can hope for is a draw. One of the reasons why away wins are scarce in the league asides poor officiating
Hence it becomes difficult for a team to dominate the table with several points, regardless of quality You're very right. If the NPFL can't get some flight coys into sponsoring the league. The league should be regionalised like in the US. Or better still clubs travelling beyond 6 hours should be have them go by flight. |

Kog45: The officiating in present day NFF has improved and with results have seen so far in SA league so far showed not much difference cuz they too rely on home games.
Yes you are right the quality then was a bit high than what we have now but notwithstanding I don’t see Mamelodi achieving such results here with 4 games to play. Can't the NPFL partner with nigeria military. The military using some youth corpers can maintain security in the stadia during matches and also be the referees. The military or police can serve that role |

Sir, how do we expect a big time farmer-with no passion for football and he confided in his friend when he was chosen as sport minister that he knew next to nothing abort sport, to reason?
With his statement, though I cherish and love Nigeria due to so many factors, I know at d AFCON SEs’are doomed With all the hype around TINUBU i was expecting him to be different. A nornal smart person and one willing to manage his company well will first do a private interview of his nominated ministers to see if they fit into the roles they're picked for. This politicians don't manage Nigeria like they will do to their ailing company maybe because they have no idea of what managing a business entails. |

It is so painful that this generation of Nigeria talents will not achieve or win any continental trophy because of NFF and Sport Ministry So painful. Now I understand why some people advise all this foreign born players to play for their birth country.
Rarely will you find a politician or a government official that truly loves this country and will make sacrifices to make it great. From the president down to the clerk in government house and NFF inclusive none truly care for this country |

AndSunGorilla: Owngoal just dribble with their speculations on who the next coach of the SE would be. So: 1) they have already concluded that JP is going, we just don't know the exact timing. 2) they have reported that an unnamed Nigerian would take over. 3) latest is that Tom Sainfelt current coach of Gambia would be named as coach, immediately JP goes. I do like the guy and I think he's hungry for an opportunity to make a name for himself. He has been in Africa for quite a while too.
Anyways, na sidon look we dey for now. I have honestly lowered my expectations for the the next AFCON with JP in charge. Of course, I would love to be shocked, surprised and "shamed" with an overwhelming SE performance. Can't Sainfelt swap with Pasiero.... I think we can do coach swap |

Kog45: We don’t nurture in eagles but we nurtured Uzoho and Maduka.
Almost January got nothing to do with having new good keeper between the sticks….Oga,Enyeama had his second cap against England after played a mere last friendly match against Kenya in preparation for WC and he spent less than a week in camp to prove that he was ready.
I know much about Enyeama,Ejide and Aiyenugba rise cuz the ex super eagles goalkeeper trainer Amusa Adisa that gave them the opportunities was my university coach
I had discussions with him on the state of our keepers and he said Nwoke,Osayi,Amas and Bankole can do it,just left for eagles handlers to have confidence in them.
I put a call to Dele Aiyenugba on Nwoke based on his performance in Ilorin and he said Egbon make i no lie you the boy is good for eagles.
Sir,nothing special about Uzoho,Maduka and Adeleye that the four rated NPFL keepers will not measure up to,funny Olorunleke Ojo is not even in the picture of rated NPFL keepers. God bless you Egbon The problem is Pasiero and the goal keeper trainer even Finidi is a terrible assistant. I am sure he influenced Ojo constant invitation in place of better goalies like Bankole, Amas, Osayi and Nwoke |

Nomyth: If sacking pasero will be difficult because of financial constraints , then why not suspend him under the guise that he applied for another job while still contracted to the NFF.
A local coach should be gotten in the interim to prosecute AFCON for us.
I'm really not a big fan of local coaches, but seeing that our local coaches couldn't have performed worse than what pasero had churned out so far, it's choosing a lesser evil. This NFF president is dull in appearance and actions The man is just there. I doubt that man and his assistants knows national team football more than some of us here. He is not active, can't even take decisions. I remember then at least we see Pinnick in stadia watch super eagles matches this one I never see am at all. The NFF can use that to sack Pasiero |
