He has been better than chukwueze, and Simon despite missing chances. I will rather moffi to replace chukwueze or Simon let’s play our 2013 formation
Bro we are talking of Africa best player here.. no one expects him to play like chuks or simon but for a striker of his status he has been poor and wasteful. He should be rested or made to come from the bench

He will keep missing chances, he needs some psychological motivation and the break will help

As bad as he has been, he has been much better than chukwueze and Simon. I will add moffi alongside osimehn
Bro you can take a donkey to the stream but u can't force it to drink water

You guys should move pass oshimen please
Move on and give every player same treatment.

If he later picks up.fine but for now give other players equal opportunities.

Nah, osimehn might not be scoring but he is an overall better forward than chukwueze/simon. The coach should use osimehn as a supporting striker and bring in moffi. Our wingers are very ineffective expect lookman
Guy had it been this Oshimen injure una for nor fit play this afcon?

Remove Osimhen and our attack would lose that fear factor. There is more to a top striker than scoring a goal. Osimhen is that striker that makes defenders jittery and overly cautious, which in turn makes them susceptible to committing errors as were the cases against Ivory Coast and today against G.Bissau
Bro Moffi is capable of starting in any afcon team

Oshimen fear facfor and still has just one goal so far?

How about
Equatorial Guinea, Caoe Verde etc attack? They have no fear factor but they score goals

South Africa buried all their chances yesterday

Oshimen is limiting this team.... put in Moffi or Kelechi and leave the wingers to play their game no need for the unnecessary pressure on them to cross the ball

U can't invite a player like Moffi doing well for Nice this season and keep him on the bench for straight 3 games. why invite him then? Nice need him at this crucial time they're chasing UEFA CHAMPIONS league spot

Jose Peseiro should watch last seasons goals from Osimhen & Napoli, try to setup eagles like that if he wants Osimhen to be on the score sheet regularly
Otherwise bring in Moffi
Chances are not been converted
What is going on
Our wingers aren’t quick enough and can’t even cross
Let natural right footers play from the right and left footers at the left.
Hoping we don’t pay for all the missed chances in the knockout stages
We are playing 5 at the back because the coach doesn’t trust his defense to hold if they play 4 - 3 -3
Bro oshimen will take u guys out of this afcon

U don't go rely on a player that is little above average

Try out other strikers bring Oshimen from the bench.

Oshimen will not score a goal if u keep starting him. Dude is not ready for this afcon
SportsRe: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2027, 2028 And 2030 World Cup by humility33(m): 8:02pm On Jan 22, 2024
I have the belief Terem Moffi and Nancho will make a difference in this team if they get to play

It is team Oshimen start to come from the bench or else him, simon and chuks will cost Pasiero his job

Not sentiments. Nwabali needs the rest he can get. No need to risk injury
How will Nwabali get injured as a goal keeper

Now I really understand that some players agents are in this thread

Well for Uzoho he had enough time to prove himself which he failed at

If we hit 3 answered goals before the half, Peseiro should bring in Uzoho from 70' onwards.
To do what? Was he suppose to even make team in the first place?

We need Bassey in defense. They should just tell them to cross the ball. Not everytime dribble and running
He is not good with crosses. Good in playing ball on the ground

Wish Pasiero can try Osayi there instead it will make sense

He could play DM AM CM as well as both sides Wing and Wing back. His passing accuracy and football ⚽ intelligence is high.
This is the reason why you'll be a very bad coach

Accurate cross and pass is what he said. He might be wrong on the pass but certainly right about the crosses. Having a striker like Osimhen who is deadly in the air and he's not getting supplies is not good enough
Or do u suggest Bassey should be taken to wing role upfront. I will prefer him to either of chuks or simon to be honest

Bassey/Zaidu out for Aribo.

Aribo will be the box to box role tomorrow.
Which Aribo?
Kelechi and Moffi including Musa should get game time today

He is Bro...you can't compare him to Moffi when it comes to pace and physique tailored for africa football.

Against Ivory coast moffi would've been a better replacement most especially in situations when you're playing a countet attacking football

Fireworks 🎆, thunder 🎇 and Lightning ⚡ end to 🔚 just fabulous. Forget team tactics, this was African 🌍 Football ⚽ at its best. Mane is world class wow what a game

KC is an amazing team player
He doesn’t always have to score
He creates spaces also for his team mates

I just hope they take their chances when we face Senegal or Morocco because we struggle to keep possession of the ball
We are not facing Morocco or Senegal now abeg.

I pray they cancel out each other most especially Morocco

yes because at that point in the game the team needed a more defensive minded player who is comfortable on the ball and with the players on the bench onyedika fits the bill more than aribo and nacho

We're topping this group sha

the worst mistake he would hv done was subbing iwobi for nacho when the team was defending trying to protect a slim win

The flow of the game from 75mins was very delicate...JPES did what he ought to do by closing the defence up putting more bodies there....if he had removed Alex it would have been a disaster....a new midfielder would have committed a penalty or gotten a red card.
Bro Iwobi was a weak link
He was tired could barely hold the ball for long
Nacho would've done better if he was brought in

Even Moffi would've outrun that Ivory coast defense if he was to come in for oshimen
