MaziOmenuko: Exactly! This is why I didn't support their strike for now. There are loads of wahalas in the pipeline. Soon, it will be obvious that this current arrangement the fg has with oik importers won't work. After selling in naira, the marketers will soon discover that all the cash they made in naira is useless if they can't convert to dollars and get more products. Something like this crossed my mind before. How were they getting their forex before now? |

This whole Chibok stuff is one big charade that was desinged to make nonsense of Jonathan's government. Just look at them shameless people. They went to arrange one girl witha baby then took them to Buhari and his wife just to make it look like the 'missing' Chibok girls are now being rescued by Buhari. |

YourFatherYansh: Lemme address you as a sane Human which of course I think you are until you would prove me wrong. . U see there something I think genetically is missing in d black race which I think the whites have in abundance.....When citizens of other nations are proud to beat their chest saying they gat the best economy, best culture, best brains, best innovations, highest rate of technological advancement, best secure to mention juz a few......sOme Baboons down here in Africa are busy destroying the already battered economy without thinking of its future repercussions even to the people they claim they are fighting for. . Maybe ur being fed under someone's roof.....but I tell you, when they bring down production to zero , u will first of all start starving 2 death. . The fundamental question is where is Buhari's maturity in all of this madness? Why is he behaving like a kid? Soldiers have occupied Gbaramotu when they are needed more in Agatu against the 'Libyan' herdsmen. There's so much injustice & imbalance in this country. Until these issues are addressed, there will be no peace. |

I laugh wen dis Idio.ts think is only crude oil that can suffocate the Nigerian economy, yes it contributes majorly to d economy, thanks to the useless rulers we have had in time pass, U guys are complaining abt tomatoes prices skyrocketing I guess, that is juz a little picture of what will happen if the North decide to also blow up every means of transporting foodstuffs to all ur channels.....Nonsence[/s] Let buhari continue like a mad cow. His supporters like fulanimafia, omenka, etc have been cheering him on saying he is a veteran, retired General, blablabla forgetting that all the soldiers in Nigeria cannot protect our pipelines. Oil remains the mainstay of Nigeria's economy and if Buhari does not manage this situation with maturity, he might end up running his government with proceeds from sales of kwilikwili & donkwa with sugar cane. That is how Nigerian government boasted in 1967 that they would defeat Biafra in two weeks but Britain & Russia had to move in heavy military gear for them to win the war which was even eventually won by starvation. The problem is that while buhari is an old man he is behaving like a kid. Even Sheik Gumi has cautioned Buhari but will he listen? No! The level of maturity expected from him is not what we are getting at all. Who are Buhari's advisers? I think they are doing a very poor job. Everything is not gra gra, kill and destroy. This man fails to understand that 2016 is not and can never be 1983. Imagine a president classifying a section of the country as 5% and went on to marginalise them very well. As long as Buhari continues to think that he can push the east aside, his government will continue to be chaotic and terrible. Lest I forget, the Niger Delta Avengers are from Malawi so Buhrai should invade Malawi. |

93xtr6r: WombRaiders: Yoruba wants one Nijeriya because they are afraid of having us in the better south ( ND and SE) Leave them alone with ab0ki.
It is not just a matter of financial exigency but a matter of survival.
For all the hatred they show towards the Ibos, the Yoruba needs the Ibo to thwart any jihad from the north.
So to my Ibo brothers and sisters, what I can conclude from this yoruba madness and obsession towards Biafr@ movement is actually shrouded in deep fear of being left alone with their northern masters.
The Yoruba is actually throwing tantrums over Biafr@ because they need YOU IBOS to remain to protect them just as they need us in the ND to keep feeding them.
The Yoruba is an ingrate coward! Very true my brother, they know it. See a thread created by a Yoruba guy on nl as proof: https://www.nairaland.com/2645916/igbos-reason-nigeria-never-split |

ChimaAdeoye: The truth is that the average abooki does not like Nigeria. In their innermost hearts, they know it will break someday due to injustice. So that is why they have sustained the lopsided treatment of sections of the country to loot and gain what they can each day Nigeria continues as one entity. If not, why not simply correct the imbalances and let us stop all these numerous crises we always have in Nigeria due to injustices?
In America, every year, they have a state of the Union address. The present takes time to define what the issues are and how steps are taken to address the issues threatening their unity. In Nigeria, it is about Buhari ordering the Nigerian army to kill and oppress other Non-Fulani Nigerians asking for equality in the Nigerian project.
I have been wondering about this too. Please create a thread on this subject becuase I think the core north is trying to milk the oil dry and grab all they can get before they discard Nigeria like a carcass. |

Read the paper by Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the current Emir of Kano, a Fulani, where he revealed some truths about your Yoruba people: "YORUBAS ARE THE PROBLEM WITH NIGERIA"? http://www.nigerianbulletin.com/threads/yorubas-are-the-problem-with-nigeria-by-sanusi-lamido-sanusi-elombah-com.111348/
In sum, the Yoruba political leadership, as mentioned by Balarabe Musa, has shown itself over the years to be incapable of rising above narrow tribal interests and reciprocating goodwill from other sections of the country by treating other groups with respect. Practically every crisis in Nigeria since independence has its roots in this attitude.
The Yoruba elite were the first, in 1962, to attempt a violent overthrow of an elected government in this country. In 1966, it was the violence in the West which provided an avenue for the putsch of 15th January. After Chief Awolowo lost to Shagari in 1983 elections, it was the discontent and bad publicity in the South-West which led to the Buhari intervention... Please knock some sense into that Alcatraz |

Alcatraz001: [s]Op, i am very angry at your post and i am in my office fuming. How can an igbo man compete against a yoruba man in matters of intellect? The education in the SW no matter how substandard even in our lowest polytechnics trumps the best schools in the east hands down, you dont have to hate the yoruba for occupying high positions in blue chip companies in Nigeria which are incidentally mostly in the SW.
I am happy the latest bombings in the creeks will force the last set of Oil companies to relocate to the SW, their rightful place from the outset. Alcatraz001: Hear the yorubas well today, we dont care if igbos leave Nigeria because you are inconsequential. I have been in darkness in Lagos for almost a month due to the joint attacks of the SS & SE on our energy infrastructure and we really dont care. The Yoruba and hausa have alternate plans for power, as you can see, lagos and other SW states are working for a post Nigeria scenario. I am just sure of one thing, the war the igbos are spoiling for will claim many casualties both human and material against them. We know the renewed attacks are the brainchild of mainly the igbos but we are waiting to see the out come.
Once again, yorubas are not scared and we cant wait to be rid of you. Selah. It is very good to know Yorubas don't care whether we leave or stay, that is one step forward. |

Just look all around you, if you are honest you will see how the Igbos are tremendously marginalised in this country.
The way Nigeria is designed is to eternally favour the northern hegemony headed by the hausa-fulani ably supported by the Yoruba.
If this wicked marginalisation of Igbos continue, it is a question of when not how or if Nigeria will split.
Nigeria has a date with destiny.
It is so unfortunate that a tribe as big as the Igbo is being oppressed and marginalised in Nigeria. |

alpontif: [s]Its not surprising that you have failed to learn from the wisdom of my writing, obviously , the truth is too bitter a pill for you to swallow.
Let me break this down for you:
1. Great Britain and USSR: Dont be naive. War is not fair. you dont come with a knife to a gunfight. If you come at me with a handgrenade, I will come at you with a nuclear bomb. That is how wars are won, War is not a match between Enyimba FC and Heartland FC. WAR IS BRUTAL, BRUTISH AND CRUEL...AND THAT IS HOW IT IS WON. Whether the USSR and GB helped Nigeria is not the point, the point is that Nigeria Threw all it had (Including Other countries help) at you, and crushed Biafra. Nigeria won...Simple.
2. ''Lost but more Nigerians died'': Really!?.......Biafran war was fought on Biafran Territory, do you know that?.....and that is not even the point. Victory is Victory, that is how we count the scores, You Lost, Nigeria won. end of story.
3. Dahomey women: Yes, this happend, have you seen any Yoruba Man hung up on Our Egba subset losing some battles to the Amazing Amazonians?....No....Why, because it is not important to us, we do not have a defeatist mentality.
4: Ilorin: Yes, the Great Fulani warriors defeated the yorubas via Afonja's Treachery.....But Yorubas dont care enough about Ilorin at that time since they believe it deserves to be overun because of Afonja's Treachery. Yoruba Warriors simply refused to fight to recover Ilorin. But that is not the point, The Fact is that Fulanis took over Ilorin, and You cannot see a Yoruba man that wants to kill himself and hates all fulanis because of that, we are too smart for that.
5. Chest beating: Everybody knows it is the Igbos that claim to be Brave, bold and the best at everything...Yorubas dont chest beat, we simply win.
6. You can learn from anybody and anything, even from a bee. The fact that you refuse to study and learn from your enemy simply means that you cannot defeat him, because you dont really know him. Sun Tzu will really feel sorry for you.
7. You people are too emotional, try to be logical for once, that is the way to win. Hatred will not help you.
8. I hope this will help you heal[/s]. Yes I am happy that Biafra was defeated under the weight of Great Britain & USSR, I am indeed happy. This is history and I am not here to rewrite it. grin grin grin We lost but more Nigerian soldiers died on the battle field than Biafran solders armed with bolt action rifles, lol I hope you are also happy that female Dahomey warriors sacked yorubas from their villages such that they crowded themselves as refugees in Abeokuta. I hope you are also happy that fulani annexed Ilorin and installed an emir till tomorrow. I don't have anything to ask a tribe whose soldiers were overrun by women, lol No amount of chest beating or revisionism will change the fact that yoruba warriors were overrun by dahomey women and that Ilorin has been annexed by fulani. |
