The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) stood at the edge of a grave and cried and he then said: " *O my brothers! For this (death), prepare yourselves."* (Ibn Majah) A man asked the Messenger: "Who is the most wise of people O Messenger of Allah?" He replied: " *The one who remembers death most often and the one who is well-prepared to meet it; these are the wise; honorable in this life and dignified in the Hereafter."* [Ibn Majah,Tabarani] *Do good deeds before it's too late* Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon Him) said, " *Hasten to do good deeds before you are overtaken by one of the seven afflictions.''* Then (giving a warning) he said, " *Are you waiting for poverty which will make you unmindful of devotion, or prosperity which will make you corrupt, or a disease which will disable you, or senility which will make you mentally unstable, or sudden death which will take you all of a sudden, or Ad-Dajjal who is the worst expected, or the Hour; and the Hour will be most grievous and most bitter.''* [At-Tirmidhi] *Your death is nearer than you think it is* The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) drew a few lines and said, " *One of them represents man and another indicates death; and a man continues like this until the nearest line (i.e., death) overtakes him.''* [Al-Bukhari] *4 Simple Tips to Prepare for Death* 1⃣ Learn the do’s and dont’s: When you have recognized Islam as the true religion and chosen it as your way of life then you must know the laws of the deen so that you can start practising it. Learn about the permissible and impermissible matters, so that you know which actions will make you a beloved slave of Allah Ta'ala and take you to Paradise, and which actions will make you a follower of Shaitaan and take you to Hell-Fire. The Prophet (Peace be upon Him) said: " *Whoever follows a path seeking knowledge, Allah will make the path to Paradise easy for him."* (Al-Bukhaari) 2⃣ Attain Taqwah: If you have knowledge but lack Taqwah, then you cannot practice the deen with devotion. Only those who have knowledge about Allah Ta'ala and about the life after death, truly fear Him as He should be feared, and only those will stay away from His disobedience. So, read about what awaits you in the life after your death and infuse the love for Jannah and fear of Hell in your heart. 3⃣ Be passionate about performing good deeds: Grab opportunities to do good deeds. Learn ways to make your scale of good deeds heavy on Judgment Day (such as these ahadith- Allah’s Messenger (Peace be upon Him) said, " *The heaviest thing to be placed in the balance of a believing slave on the Day of Judgement will be good behaviour."* (At-Tirmidhi). " *There are two statements that are light for the tongue, heavy in the Scales and are dear to the Merciful: Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhan-Allahil-'Adheem* .'' [Al-Bukhari]. *"If the seven heavens and the earth were placed on one side of the scale, and 'la ilaha ill-Allaah' was placed on the other, the side in which 'la ilaha ill-Allaah' is placed will be heavier." [* Al-Bukhari]) 4⃣ Invoking Allah Ta'ala for His Mercy and His guidance: Remember it is only Allah Ta'ala who creates ways for you to earn hasanaat (good deeds) and it is He who gives you the strength to stay away from evil. So sincerely pray to Him to guide and have mercy on you, your family and the ummah. May Allah Ta'ala make it easy for us. Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Bāz [رحمه الله] said: ❝These are some of the morals and characteristics of the believing men and women. They help, protect, and support one another. They do not envy, cheat, betray, insult, or call each other by offensive nicknames. They do not slander or do anything that may hurt or cause feuds, enmity, and division; instead they love and advise and exhort one another to do good for the sake of Allah. They, therefore, enjoin the good and forbid the evil amongst them. Such is the behavior of the believing men and women. With these manners societies prosper and affairs are straightened. In addition to this, the believers perform Salah [Prayer] as prescribed by Allah, in a state of tranquility, Khushu’ [the heart being attuned to the act of worship], and devotion; in its due times; and fulfilling its conditions, pillars, and obligations. They perform it as Allah has prescribed, each in its due time.❞ [Fatwas of Shaykh ‘Abd al-‘Azeez ibn Bāz, (4/108)] |

A sincere, humble Sujood (prostration) is better than all the wealth of the world. 9. Think before you speak; a single word can be deadly. 10. Beware of the prayer of the oppressed and the tear of the deprived. 11. Before reading books, newspapers, and magazines, read the Qur'an. 12. Be a reason for your family to stay on the right path. 13. Struggle against your inner desires, as the soul often incites toward evil. 14. Kiss the hands of your parents to attain their pleasure. 15. Your old clothes are new to the poor. 16. Avoid anger, resentment, and severing ties, as life is shorter than you think. 17. With you is the most Powerful and Wealthy, Allah, so trust and rejoice. 18. Do not close the doors of acceptance through sin. 19. Persist in reciting Surah Al-Mulk, for it is a means of salvation. 25. The truly deprived one is the one deprived of humble prayer and tearful eyes. 26. Do not harm forgetful believers. 27. Let your love be for Allah and His Messenger, and treat people with good character. 28. Forgive those who backbit you, for they have gifted you their good deeds. 29. Prayer, recitation, and remembrance are light on your face, joy in your heart, and success in your deeds. 30. Whoever remembers the fire of Hell will be patient against the temptations of sin. 31. As the night ends, so will your troubles. Hardships will be replaced with ease. 32. Abandon idle talk, for you have tasks as weighty as mountains. 33. Pray with humility, for whatever awaits you is lesser in significance than prayer. 34. Keep the Qur’an near you, for one verse is better than the world and all it contains. 35. Life is beautiful, and you are even more beautiful with your faith. ....... Why Does the Deceased Choose Charity if Given Another Chance? Allah says in the Qur'an: "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I would give in charity" (Qur'an 63:10). Notice, the deceased does not say, "so I would perform Hajj," or "so I would pray," or "so I would fast." The scholars say the deceased mentions charity because of the great impact they see from it after death. So, increase in charity, for the believer will be under the shade of their charity on the Day of Judgment. .......... The best charity you can give right now is to share this message with the intention of charity, as everyone who acts upon it and advises others will be a means for you to receive rewards, insha'Allah. 🌹👍 Don’t keep it to yourself; perhaps it will reach a heart that is attentive.
