I'm always curious why people who hate the West, or support the enemies of the West, choose to live in the West and not those other countries where their views will be accepted and even nurtured.
The reason is ment and hypocrisy

Run comot your own country cos of religious wahala, claim asylum in the new country, then turn around and start asking for the implementation of sharia in your neighborhood...

Is that not ment pro max?

Hi,
I have been in the UK for three weeks now and my BRP is not yet out.
I applied for visa with my wife and our visa came out in June.
My wife came to the UK first week of July and her BRP was ready in two weeks.
I left Nigeria on September 20th and my BRP is still not ready. The post office said they don’t have it yet.
I thought it would have been ready since I applied time ago.
What do I do?

Abeg can you help me with a response to this person?

Good morning everyone.

@hustla, @Lexusgs430 @bigtt @justwise @everyone

Some people actually leave Nigeria without any proper plan for accommodation. I have seen them with kids and plenty luggage in bus station with no where to go. One even begged to sleep on the floor of my studio in winter😢
They always have same story that the person they were meant to stay with didn’t pick their calls.
I just want every coming in here to know that , this country you are running to, didn’t get to this level with “anyhowness”
It’s by proper planning.
Proper planning wont prepare you for the wickedness of fellow Nigerians who you have prior arrangements with

Best thing is to plan with airbnb in mind and not involve anyone in the process... Plan like you don't have anyone abroad

I believe it's due to smaller towns/ cities with less economic footprint. Also not as connected as England. Students are limited in how far they can go moreso with the 20hr cap. Wales seems better
Mehn, i hope the people there survive

If you don't have to be in those two places, might be worth looking at smaller towns as they tend to have much less competition though with fewer jobs.
Seems Scotland is generally terrible for student /part time jobs

Someone was lamenting to me about it earlier this year. Not sure why it's like that

Also, I find this country very depressing for couple partly cuz our expectations are high but left disappointed. We work so much that we forget to have time for each other cuz we got bills and responsibilities back home. All those little little outings for Naija is underrated. The accumulation of those bad feelings might cuz issues.

Hustla has a point.

It would do you a lot of good to report the issue to police first just in case.

All the posters up there saying you ignoring your wife, not giving her emotional support and all that nonsense is not an excuse for physical violence on her part.
Gracias

Just wait till she discovers the police /social worker route..

Try to make things work, address her complains but document what is happening... Because if she takes it further, you go explain tire, no evidence grin

The poster explained things in a way that made him look faultless. He already said a lot of things the wife did wrong, but what about his own faults?
People are just trying to make him realize that he is not entirely right too.
Not supporting domestic violence but there is every possibility that his wife's side of the story will be entirely different from what the poster wrote.
LOL You're still saying the same thing. No one's saying he's entirely right, they're just ignoring the domestic violence part he has mentioned.
For his own sake, He should document what's going on before its too late. Police and the world will always listen to women first

.. That's the singular thing that saved Dr Olufunmilayo on Twitter this year. The woman that was abusing him went and filed with the police that he r*ped her. Just Google the story and you'll see why Im saying things from this standpoint

If not for documentation, Baba would have been sacked

Me I'll Sha advice Oga to snap pictures, record audio too and videos, keep in the cloud and make a report to the police before anything

😂😂😂 Construction work. All these unnecessary requests from a so called agent. The only organisation licensed to "arrange" your document for you is TLS and those ones will only work with what’s on UKVI’s website. They’ll just organise the document in the right format at an extra cost.

@ Jeff0983 Since you are already married, all you need is your marriage certificate and maybe wedding photos, that’s it. Life no hard, na you dey worry over nothing.
Na construction work na

Seems there's been a recent change in documents needed.

In addition to marriage cert, they now ask of additional evidence of continued relationship for a goven period.
Went to the UK Gov website before posting..took the screenshot from there too some mins
