How is it possible to change name on a passport? One letter was omitted from the middle name and this may cause issues in the future. This error was not noticed until recently

We have tried to go through the immigration website but the payment platform has issues and didn't go after entering the card information

How can it be done and is it a must the person must go to Abuja to effect this change?
