bigtt76: May be your usage wasn't that encouraging enough. Use up to 30% and see I was initially doing 25% when I asked ... but then I didnt want to run into issues so i reduced to 15 and now I am looking at 7 - 10%. As long as my score goes up, I really dont care for the limit increase £1,000 is okay for a student who wants to learn the ropes |

His monkey his circus I'm sure he's trading the Pounds to Naira and saving back home or forming hin don arrive then hustle to pay back here. The fact he got £3000 out means he must have good credit limit on the CC Think his limit is 4,500. Not that much actually LOL His money, his circus as you have said |

Viruses: Spending/taking more than 30% of your credit limit impacts credit score negatively. People still argue this but my colleague went from excellent to poor because he used about 80% of his credit limit and paid back in full after statement generation. 80% ... and I was thinking I was bad at using CC with my max 15% spend per month Some people get mind sha but I am not one of them. I don't like anything that will make me put my hands at my back and start to shalaye |

bigtt76: Una carry round tripping from Naija enter UK eh? Soon they will stop or tighten CC issuance requirement to Nigerians I think the trick is to take the GBP out, convert to naira and then use naija bank rate to pay back if possible Problem is when the bank rate doesn't come and you owe cash + interest |

Estroller: Premium tears in the offing for them But for the PayPal bit, I think they make it seems like it's an outgoing payment to someone and the person sends it back Probably not going to be an issue that way |

Estroller: That will most likely count as withdrawing cash, best to steer clear of such. Well, the issue of credit cards came up today and it's shocking to see what people (students) are doing with CCs Paying minimum balance, transferring and withdrawing cash, saying even if their score is low, they'll build it when they want to buy a house etc To each his own, I guess |

Estroller: If by withdraw you mean settling your PayPal transactions with your credit card by adding your credit card to your PayPal account, then no. I mean fuding your paypal account with your cc and thenusing your debit card to withdraw from atm Was told there is a way to do it but i was just thinking about its impact on credit score |

dfrost: For ISACA, the discounts can only be achieved if you register as a member and only when you sit for more than one certification exam. They are the owners of CISA, CISM, CRISC
For (ISC)², no discount. They are the owners of CISSP, CCSP. Thanks, I'll register as a student member then, seems it's cheaper. Got vouchers for 3 AWS exams and 50% off for AWS security is currently on but I want 100% off |
