where are your 20 questions?

Have you got your ready? It takes a while to come up with 20 questions. Are you also gonna post your 20 questions? Cuz I would really hate to have to accuse you of being a liar, as honorable a Christian as you are?

Are you also gonna post 20 questions?

@huxley
I would really like to take you up on this your hardcore atheism posture, i am sure i would be able to make you see the light however it would be very difficult to present my case on the internet as i could be guilty of confusing others who don't really understand the faith [most people don't] i really wish we can meet so we can dialogue onoe on one.

Do you live anywhere near Manchester?

any instances? . . .why cant u state who Jesus impersonated? should I assume that u are both lying and deceptive?

Jesus lied many times, including claiming to be at once time the Son of God and later God himself. So he impersonated the Son of God and God.

The above is what happens when delve into the milk and not the meat of the matter .

In the days when the scriptures where written  Calling a man by such names was not allowed of by the Jews themselves, whose rules are:

"he that calls his neighbour a servant, let him be excommunicated; a bastard, let him be beaten with forty stripes; "a wicked man", let him descend with him into his life or livelihood (z).''

"it is forbidden a man to call his neighbour by a name of reproach (a) everyone that calls his neighbour "a wicked man", shall be brought down to hell;''

which is pretty much what Christ here says.

Going back to the my intial comment  which i will rephrase "  A fool Only a wicked man says in his heart their is no God  "

You are making things up now. Proverbs clearly uses the word FOOL. Now my question to you is this. Does the usage by Jesus and the usage by Proverb have the same or different meaning? Expain as follows:

Either:

1) The same: . . . .

or

2) Different: . . . .

I believe your question has been answered. . , , .who did Jesus impersonate?

The answer is wrong. Just because you say something does not make it right. If you had found similar discrepancy in the koran, you would be sticking it up the eyes of the muslims, wouldn't you? Christians just don't like being shown things like this. Well you have got to learn to take. It is there in you bible in several places - Jesus caugth lying multiple times.

Look at it again:

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Who was Jesus addressing with this speech? People "standing here" and listening to him, about 2000 years ago. Why did Jesus lie, nah.

but whosoever shall say thou fool, shall be danger of hell fire.

The word "fool" signifies one that is very ignorant in things spirtual and a wicked reprobate man

and from thence to a censorious judging of a man's spiritual and eternal estate, which is what is here condemned. "Thou fool", is, thou wicked man, thou ungodly wretch, thou graceless creature, whose portion will be eternal damnation.

Can you show us how you got that meaning from the CONTEXT of the verses I posted? And how that is different or similar to your characterisation of atheists as fools?

I noe regret changing my original title for this thread. At the time, I was falling over backwards to be compliant with Christians here. Unfortunately, this account is no longer accessible my me, or I would change the title back to its original.

The heat I put on the Stimulus here was enough to get him OFF NL and he has not returned since. Another one despatched with tail between legs.

No, I am not. Neither is our generation. See exactly what Jesus said:

Matthew 16: 24 -28;

24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

As usual due to your level of carnality you are bound to take scriptures or quotes out of context.

This is the ubiquitous charge from the apologist of the bible. Can you put it into context for us then? This is the verse.

Matthew 5:

21"You have heard that it was said to the people long ago, 'Do not murder, and anyone who murders will be subject to judgment.' 22But I tell you that anyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to his brother, 'Raca,' is answerable to the Sanhedrin. But anyone who says, 'You fool!' will be in danger of the fire of hell.

23"Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother has something against you, 24leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to your brother; then come and offer your gift.

Let's hear from the bible believer then. But I am sure he will shut up and disappear into the silence of the web.

It is amazing how we humans enjoy to see others fall so that we could have a feeling that they are not better than we are.I would like to paraphrase Charles Spurgeon: "Dogs won't eat dogs, but we humans tear each other down with relish." Small minds derive their sense of importance by looking for the falls and faults of those who are great. Pastor Adeboye is a man of God, not a God of man. His family is just as susceptible to Satan's antics as much as ours. In fact, his family is a special target. If we won't pray for him, then let us stop making an issue out of it.

OH YES, I enjoy gloatting at people who lead hypocritical lives. I LOVE to see them FALL and hit their big stinging heads flat on the ground. It gives me no end of pleasure. And I think I am a far better man than them.

Can't you see the contradiction in what you just said? A Man of God? If God is on his side, why is this happening to his family? Did they not pray to God? Are they not the subject of millions of prayers daily?

Have u been following the thread at all?

1. The moral guiding principles u advocate. . . which of them has EVER influenced your life and how?

2. what do u summarize the gospel of Jesus to mean?

so also did He promise eternal life to His followers. . . . . .why are u so bothered about hell?. . .is your conscience indicting u?
How EXACTLY is this reprehensible?

1. u have not established what makes Jesus nasty and reprehensible. . . .or have u?

2. bitterness can be deduced from your post. . . . .u were probably a miracle seeker who had no faith and felt disappointed. . . .what was your ailment? was it HIV, leukaemia, STD's blindness or mental and intellectual bankruptcy?. . . . .tell me. . . what was your disease?

3. Your resolve to ignore the malady of mohammed and allah in order to castigate the gospel of Christ reflects a nasty inability to be objective and also shows a huge amount of moral debauchedness. . . . . .so tell me, . . .what are your guiding principles? which of them does allah conform to? and why is allah your hero?

Has your life really been transformed? With all the insults you hurl at your critics? Is that the life of a transformed man?

No I left Christian very very young - Before got to 13, I was no longer a Christian. So I spared myself the damage that you are suffering from.

No I am not ignoring the malady of Allah/Mo. Rather I am saying that your gods (Jesus, MO, Allah, etc, etc) are all in the same boat. You turn a blind eye to the misdeed and sayings of Jesus just as the muslim turns a blind eye to the misdeed and sayings of Mo.

Really?   are u on another planet?

I can safely state at this point that u are an unfortunate and ill-informed IGNORAMUS. . . .who has an issue with objective reasoning.
is the above the only commandments of Jesus?. . , the sword Jesus brought, who did He kill with it? why did your Christian parents not kill u with that sword?
your folly is legendary

Where did we both agree that the transformation of the moslem is ONLY negative. The fact that you state that does not mean that we are both agreed on the issue.

I can see you are now resorting to insults as well. Is that a Christian thing? So Christianity did not transform you POSITIVELY after all?

noetic2:

You are very wrong and off the mark
As a matter of fact I dont.
If u had been following this thread with full consciousness u would have seen where I emphatically stated that Jesus gave me a new and bigger vision and a direction. . . .so u tell me. . .why EXACTLY should I worry about the future?

Do you to to school? Have you got a job and a bank account. Do you make investments plans for the future? If you do anything with a view for providing for and securing and caring for you future, then you are in violation of Jesus's injunction.

ALL Christians handle this by ignoring the bizarre and senseless injunctions of Jesus, which is the rational thing to do.

noetic2:

In the name of all righteousness . . . . .I dont remember the last time I ever returned evil for evil
See answer 2 above
My family has not stood in the way of my salvation. . .when they do. . . .they are gone
The knowledge of Christ brings peace. . . . .I dont remeber having an aggressor. . . . .but the times I do, I normally hear a voice that says "HOLD your PEACE". . . . .I hope this educates u.

Exactly, you rationalise like any "normal" person would, and ignore the silly stuff from the bible. The same way the moslems do - they ignore the silly stuff from the koran.

Religion / Re: Adeboye's Son Romances Society Woman Leader by huxley(m): 6:09pm On Sep 23, 2009
GODSON2009:

what happened is simply that, nobody both high or low is immune from the temptations of the devil, the accounts of the bible while satan was talking with the lord says when the lord asked him where he has been, satan said he has been up and down meaning strolling all aound the world, the bible says he has come for nothing but to kill and destroy.

it would be incredibly naive of you to honestly think any christian family even in redeemed will leave their own children and families and then perpetually pray for the g.o's family, even the g.o will pray for his family first before anyone's.
how do you know the guy had not been warned"assuming this is a true story and not someone trying to yank our chains"cause im still waiting for a source, the g.o wouldnt tie him to a chair or  beat him up to accept will he?
also,go and find out,the devil always attacked the children of GOD's servants first so its not the first neither will it be the last

I thought PRAYERS from friends and family are supposed to EDIFY the recipient of the prayer. Jesus said as much - that whatever you ask for in his name will be given.

The GO's family prays and is the subject of prayers from RCCG members. God listens to these prayers and grows the church financially and in terms of the membership. How else can you explain the rapid growth of the church?

Did God forget about the unity and familiness of the GO's family? Could God not have strengthened the son against the temptations of the flesh?

When you pray to God, do you also pray for other people like your family, friends, country, president, etc, etc? Do these petitionary prayers work? How long are these prayers active? Week, Months, Years?
