Education / Getting A WAEC GCE Certificate. by Hybridz: 8:41am On Sep 09, 2022
Good morning everyone.

I did my WAEC GCE in the year 2009 and I have never had the need for my certificate until now. I would appreciate if anyone could help with necessary information on how to go about it and the likely cost implications.

Thank you.

Honestly with all the quotes and mentions I have been getting... I am beginning to love this lady more and more and I can't just think of leaving her just like that, she has in no way offended me in over 2 years of dating...

I will try my utmost best to stick with her and be the best I can be for myself and her... May God bless you all for straightening my mind set again... I bet I was dead in thinking before but now am alive

I wish you the best, but to give you some heads-up,forget about her and your SILs for a moment, draft the qualities you would want in your future wife (primary and secondary) . Tick the ones you feel she possesses and the ones she can realistically acquire in few years time, based on her drive and enthusiasm and see if you're ok with your result or not.

In addition, draft the attributes you can never contend with in a woman,no matter the magnitude of your genuine feelings for her and cross if she has any or not. Juxtapose your inference from the two variables and make a wise decision a man should.

Good luck!

To a large extent is not about money, it's about her level, she ranks low compared to my two elder brothers wife... How do I present her to my parents as my wife is my biggest problem here... cry

One of the cardinal attributes of being a man is owing up to the consequences of your actions and inactions. Fine, you both entered into the relationship with a different mindset and things have taken a different turn now and you have to make a decision fast.

I understand the gulf in class but you just said she cuts almost everything as a wife material. That's worth more than a treasure in this century bro.

As for your family, remember they will not live with you and whatever pain and regrets you feel afterwards will be solely felt by you.

Why not take the option of upgrading herto your taste since money isnt a problem? You have no idea the extent an average or some women could go to retaliate such betrayal and time wasted. You didn't even have any issue with your feelings for her, just difference in status.

Bro, think this over and make a reasonable decision, one you would be proud of in years to come,if not,you are on your own.

Farming in sacks can be an alternative where land availability, nearness to market or availability of labour is an issue. Irrigating the sacks follow the same principle. Length of the sack rows will give idea of total length required while the diameter of each of the sack determine the number of emitters ( water dripping points) you will install in each row.

Hope I understand your query correctly.

Yea...youve done justice to it. Thanks man

Estimating quantity of drip required for a farmland area??

Estimating approximately the required quantity of drip tapes to use for a farm land can be an heculin task to starters. This has been one of the reasons why many people have not adopted the use of drip irrigation on their farms. Believing that the cost will be astronomical and beyond reach.

My goal is to make driptapes as affordable and accessible to everyone just like pure sachet water! You must deploy drip irrigation on that your new farmland.

This year is our year of higher yield per hectare! Getting more yield from the land. Grabbing our pie in the amazing land-based wealths.

Working and farming more efficiently and productively.

I will try explaining in simple ways.

1. Estimate your field/farmland length. In metres.

a. Take note of the length of the farm in the shortest and longest part.

b. Take note of length of the farmland against the erosion; not along the erosion course.

b.ii. We will assume that you have noted the lengths of the beds.

c.Decide the number of driplines per bed. E.g where you wish to do stacking, you might have two rows of cucumber or pepper or tomatoes on a bed.

d. Decide/determine the number of beds/rows on the field.

Example.

The bed is 100m length.
the bed is 0.75m in width
The total beds are 40.

I'm planting two lines per bed.

The estimate drip per bed is 100 x 2 = 200m of drip on each bed.

But the beds/rows are 40 in number.

Then it is 200m x 40 = 8000m of dripline required.

But if it is 1dripline per bed, and there are 40 beds/rows. It is 100m per bed x 40 beds = 4000m dripline required.

Note: 0.75m bed width is for illustration Purpose.
Hello bro. I would have dm you but needed to quote this message. What about if one Intends to farm with sacks?

Health Social Work is the most lucrative and recognised (they have their own association outside Nasswork) in Nigeria.

For now,it's strictly for science background folks in UI.(Though, the policy started with our set ). Baba realised non science students rarely understand the terms in health hence, the policy.

I believe Baba Mojoyin briefed you on this during your interview. Trust me,you will enjoy every bit of the programme. Take your report seriously and endeavour to sign your log book as at when due. It's a pity you guys won't have part of his wide experience.

Well, Prof. Ayangunna will fill his space. Your field work will also be helpful especially the 90 working days in UCH. (Stressful but it's worth it)
Oh! This is really helpful. I really appreciate your insight on the matter.

Talking about Baba,i don't know Baba Mojoyin yet,or maybe he has retired, but Profs. Ayangunna and Ajala have both been wonderful in these past few days.

You certainly finished from there. Who knows whether you are one of the ex-students being referenced in today's class sef wink

Thanks for your insight once again.

Hello,

Your chance is high, given your Master's degree in Social Work. You may be on the look out for opportunities the moment you're done. But it is important to note you need to a registered social worker in the UK to be able to practice, or even considered for employment.
Kindly find out more about this.

Best wishes.
Oh! Thanks for your response. I appreciate

Haba! Social work is studied in several universities in Nigeria as an accredited programme. I am a graduate of the programme and is offered in University of Ilorin, Calabar, Lagos, Nsukka, Babcock University, Ladoke Akintola University of Education, to name most.
...add UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN to that list!

I'm a graduate of Biochemistry, but currently studying social work at the Masters level (Health social work). What are my chances? Is there anything I can do to boost my chances?
Although,UK has never been in my mind, but a knowledge or two about it won't be a bad. idea
