Family / Re: Can You Allow Your Daughter To Get Married In Her Early Twenties by Hybridz: 12:41pm On Jan 19, 2019
Getting married early is super-cool. I'm not yet married but I don't think i would want to marry a 24/25-yr old. That's too old for me considering my plan and prayer to God for guidance. My prayer is to see a matured lady within the 19-22 age range by the time I'm ready. The worst is 23yrs in sha Allah.

And to your question, as long as my daughter is matured for the marital tasks and upheavals, 23 is even to far to get her married.
My humble submission!

I learnt and still learning a lot.
1. That you should do unto your wife/woman,what you'll want her to do unto you.
2. That you should settle monetary grievances even if it's been owed for long.
3. That you don't openly support a woman against the other in times of dispute (for polygamists)
4. That you should invest in your woman when the Sun is still shining so she can be there for you when the rain is falling.
5. That you should treat your wife well so they can treat you and even talk on your behalf when children become grown and successful. Don't be too autocratic.

Let me just stop here.

MrBrownJay1:

You are looking at the issue with the wrong mindset....whether a woman can do something about her physical appearance OR NOT is irrelevant here....the issue is that there is no sexual attraction anymore, due to physical change, and thus its natural for someone to not be attracted to the new her any longer. It has nothing to do with love/discipline nor commitment, But all to do with what excites you, what turns you on, and sadly, many women after childbirth become less desirable. We cant blame men for that, we can only blame LIFE, because thats part of how we humans are programed.

...and i am sorry to say that it certAinly Aint OPs fault that breast got deflated, it is the fault of PREGNANCY, which both decided to go through.
Whether a lady gets pregnant or not, whether she marries or not,as long as she gets older by the year, her boobs are bound to fall. The level of fall is what differs, as a result of many factors though.

PS: I like the way you give your opinions and the ones given so far on this thread leaves less to be desired...thumbs up man!

it's obvious you're one of those who only argue for arguing sake cos u didn't make any point in that statement, anyone with a real point to make can say it in simple language and not dodge questions or go off point
All you've said is bayelsa guys in ajegunle blablabla. Lagos seems to be your only place of reference for the rugged people. For you to even underrate yoruba ruggedness and tell me i've not gone beyond southwestern states is laughable. You think I'm like u who analyses ruggedness of people in their comfort zones right. Heck nah!

How you even qualify extortion, robbing and laziness as rugged is what i would never understand....hian!

The gods of rational reasoning would not forgive me if I continue to argue this with you...take care bro!

You have a problem with basic understanding. The fact that you emphasizing on Lagos further buttresses my point. Read the title of the thread again and come make a meaningful submission. Only then will I respond to ur subsequent mentions. As for this,it's not worth my time.

Meanwhile, you should Check up the meaning of ruggedness. Gracias!

I get ur point, but even at that you find that those that grew up in south south easily cope outside when compared to how outsiders cope in the south south
@ the bolded, you talked about people and not the places,as the subject matter implies.

Igbos still beat others when it comes to ruggedness and south southerners are not even close bro. We got the yorubas after the Igbos.
As for places, i will reserve my comments for now.

Now,you're talking about ruggedness in people and not in places.if it's that, then the Igbos get the nod over others.

To your point, well,I've not really mingled with ample south southerners to buttress your point. Majority of the few ones I've encountered or befriended were "bread and buttered" outside their region of origin. Aldou,d few minority showed tenacity and lots of instincts to survive but it's a small sample size if you ask me.

SMH with all the statements I am reading here. So criminality, violence, fraud, cheating and making a place to be unwelcoming is now your definition of ruggedity? This is something to be proud of. There is nothing compare to living in a peaceful environment devoid of all this so called ruggedity, where someone can raise a family in peace without corruption.
This is a dent on Nigeria image, Seun, u need to close this thread.
You dey mind them!
Personally, I'd define ruggedity to mean having instincts to survive harsh economic, social, marital and even financial conditions without having to get involved in cultism and other social vices. That's ruggedness and not the robbing, pickpocketing, maiming etc slangs being thrown around to describe ruggedness on here.

Please this is only for mature minds and that's why am putting it in this section because I believe there are lots of married people here.
Though am married but not to a man who love me. I married a man who only see me as baby production machine and the only time he shows little care is when am pregnant. This is my second pregnancy anyway and he has suddenly changed. He only gave me 25,000 to buy baby things and so far so good I have spent more than 100k of my money buying what I think my baby need. I don't bother him for money for upkeep or any other thing because i have business fetching me money. The only money he drop is feeding money which is like 1000 in a day and I don't complain instead I add my own money and cook any meal we need to eat.
The painful part of these is hes a chronic cheat, he woo any girl (ugly, beautiful, married, young and women older than him) I saw this on his Facebook inbox without him knowing. And despite not giving me anything, he's promising them heaven and earth. This is a man I do buy expensive shoe and wears for so I can be admiring him instead of admiring other men outside. He has never buy anything for me and since the beginning of this year, I have been the one clothing myself and my first child. He never appreciate that.
I have been given 14th as my EDD (expected day of delivery) and this man don't even ask of my health any more. I do cry myself to sleep every night asking God why he allowed me to marry my enemy, he should have just allow me die as single girl than putting me in bondage. I swore never to have abotger baby for him after my first child but he always rape me. cry he doesn't know how to make love at all. He will just open my cloth from behind and shook his dick anytime he's Hot not minding if am enjoying it or not. I am fed up of life, if not for my first child, I would commit suicide because am just so unfortunate in life.
Am sorry for all the grammatical error. God bless you
Good morning! how is your baby now?

This thread has been created long time ago,but I feel it's an evergreen.

Now,to the guys considering village girls,it would have been a perfect choice if Corp members don't get posted their but they do. They,in most cases, spoil and take the innocence of most, together with some erring teachers and village thugs.
It's a pathetic situation to admit.
