Religion / Re: Do You Think It's Right Blaming Judas Iscariot For Jesus Death? by hycode: 12:55am On Apr 15, 2017
Judas 'the Keriot or the Sacarii' which translates as Iscariot has all the answers in his book "The Gospel according to JUDAS" I encourage people to research other Gospel (Gospel of Thomas, Philip, etc). Jesus had 12 Disciples but why do we have 4 Synoptic Gospel?

Long story short, we may never know if Judas was a malefactor or hero.

We take everything in Christianity by Faith. '"Blessed are those who believe without seeing" (John20:29,ESV)

When the English media don't want you in their league, they formulate all kind of stories to turn you against the fans. The news was written on the same day that they played a game against Sunderland. At least they admitted they found no one at home. FAKE NEWS!!!!!

Just another kid who made wrong choices!!! Bad parenting is not the be all end all, what if you have a child that doesn't listen. Our community has grown too materialistic. Sadly in Nigeria cases like this disappear after a while.

The key is always keep busy, learn how to fix anything(computers, phone, hair etc) and keep reading new stuff different from what you learnt in school. Stay light on social media too many fakers and explore the Internet and one day something must happen.

CIU is the only university i know of that accepts that for masters program OR You transfer your HND credits to a bsc degree program @ EMU.

ops84: Well,I don't think I can be admitted directly to Emu with HND except CIU according to info I gathered from fellow nairalanders, and I'm kinda get interest in the sch. Any contrary opinion to this?

I have bn following the tread ,thanks

Depending on your course of study you may want to try University of Mediterranean Karpasia their website is http://www.akun.edu.tr they take 9ja diploma and college of Education certificate for masters there grin

Secondly you can come in and spend one year in CIU and transfer to either EMU,NEU OR GAU after your first year,I had a lot of friends that did this. You can reconfirm from Oga Wip if this still works for EMU,but for the other schools yes you can get a transfer.

Addiction naturally dies when there are alternatives.IMHO he might just be studying a course in the university he has little or no interest in(i.e not challenged). Why don't you guys ask him if he would like to be a football coach or be in the football biz in the future. You can either use this to lure him to get his degree first or just encourage him in a new career path. It pays to have combine career with passion.

safarigirl: aww, he sounds really desperate...lol. Jokes apart though, he does have the sturdy build that comes in handy as a defender. If only there was a way we could forward these names to the NFF, especially the defenders. Or if he could make out the time to come down to Nigeria and apply.... Come to think of it, does the NFF have an e-mail or something we could reach them by? I think Keshi is on twitter, but I don't know if he visits it or the thing na just for show. The fans really deserve to voice their ideas and suggestions in some way considering the fact that we skip meals for the SE when they play

You are right,no one will lose anything by trying these guys out,it brings healthy competition and we would be better off with that. Secondly these guys should also help themselves by going to an A list team Europe or wherever and fight for a shirt there, talent cannot hide for too long,Imagine if Mikel was still at Lynn Oslo. I watched Emenike in Karabukspor then, him worse pass Musa then sef, even though he was still scoring goals, but too much running to the side, but after a brief stint at Fernabahce and then Spartak,he was more molded,I nor know why Musa nor learn grin. I see Raheem Lawal and Nduka Ozokwor play every weekend in Mersin İdmanyurdu SK and when we hang out they would say 'Oh boy forget people are reflection of the team they play in superman nor dey' grin

How about this guy Leon Balogun

Fortuna Dusseldorf of Germany defender Leon Balogun has exclusively revealed to supersport.com his deep desire is to play for Nigeria

I will walk to Spain, then swim across the ocean, catch a canoe just to honour the call. It will be the pinnacle of my career to represent the country of my father's birth especially because my father was always proud to be a Nigerian" Balogun told supersport.com

Balogun was in the Dusseldorf side that were relegated from the Bundesliga last season where he started half of the matches.”

"It was not a good feeling but Bundesliga 2 is as strong as many first divisions in other European countries and currently we are improving and hopefully should be able to bounce back."

Back to his international ambitions. Asked on what he makes of those who say that he is hoping reap where he had not sown with regards to a world cup place.

"Nobody called me. Nobody came to watch me play during the qualifiers. If they had, I repeat I would have jumped at it and would have contributed my quota to the course"

One of the most fascinating things about Balogun is his fluency in English considering that he has never visited nor lives in an English living country.

"I taught myself mostly because I have always liked to speak the language. I listened to music, I watched films and TV programmes and then added to the classes in school"

The former Weder Bremen defender believes that central defence is his best position. "I have been playing most of my matches now as a right back for Dusseldorf but central defence is where I have originally always liked. However, maybe because of my speed especially on my offensive and my crossing have made my coach prefer playing me at right back"

Balogun is a rare breed of footballers in his humility and even the car he drives "My parents taught me to be content with what I have and where I am. They grounded me properly so that material things are not so important" He does not have arrogance about him and explains why he never got capped by German youth teams "maybe I was not good enough at the time. I will never say that when I was growing up through the ranks that my game would have stood out enough then. Am not hung up on that at all."

Many would have expected him to have moved away from Dusseldorf after the relegation. He sees it a bit different.

"I play more now at this club. More than I did at Bremen so I will rather be playing football regularly at my age instead of sitting on the bench at a big club side."

Final word to Keshi? "I will make the life of every forward that comes up against me miserable throughout the match. I will guarantee 100% commitment to the cause and I am firm believer in team work. Offensively and physically am powerful enough. I have the speed for the position. I will be honoured to be given just a trial."

James Iheanacho, the father of Golden Eaglets star player, Kelechi Iheanacho, has declared his son missing.

The 17-year-old forward, has been the subject of in-fighting and tussle between agents, ever since he was adjudged the Most Valuable Player at the just concluded U-17 World in UAE.

“I don’t know the whereabouts of my son. I have not been able to reach him for the past three days,” the older Iheanacho told Hot FM Owerri on Friday.

It is believed that one of such agents, has travelled to Europe with the teenager, with the lure of landing him a lucrative deal with a big club.

Politics / Malta Is Selling EU Passports For 650,000 Euro by hycode: 2:12pm On Nov 14, 2013
Not sure if it is the right section to post this,anyways....come and buy, lolz

Malta is selling EU passports for 650,000 euro as part of a law passed in order to bring in cash and investment.

The plan, which was approved on Wednesday, is expected to begin within a week. It will give those who purchase the passports the right to reside in any of the other 27 member states. They will even be eligible to become members of the European Parliament.

The island country, which has a population of 452,000, is a member of the EU and the Schengen borderless travel area, and has a visa waiver agreement with the US.

The country’s prime minister, Joseph Muscat, said the plan is expected to attract “high value” individuals from around the world who can then invest in the island. Muscat estimated that 45 potential applicants would raise the country around 30 million euro.

Henley and Partners, the company that will be in charge of processing the paperwork, estimated that the deal will attract up to 300 people annually.

Those who purchase passports can then buy citizenship for their immediate family for just 25,000 euro ($33,600).

The country’s opposition has heavily criticized the new law, stating that it will work to repeal it and revoke all the passports in the future. It also questioned the process of selling the passports, arguing that the vetting of individuals wanting to buy citizenship lacks transparency because their names will not be disclosed.

But European Union spokesman Michele Cercone said that Malta and other member states have the freedom to choose how and to whom they issue passports.

Other EU member states have been relaxing citizenship and residency rules for steep fees. For example, Cyprus eased citizenship rules for those who lost more than $3.2 million by paying the levy on savings, in an attempt to stop non-resident investors from leaving the country.

In the UK, residency permits are easier to obtain for non-EU citizens who have at least $1.6 million available for private investment in the UK. Meanwhile, Spain is planning on granting foreigners residency permits if they purchase a house for more than $215,000, in an attempt to boost the country’s housing sector.

Nigerian man's body found floating in a private beach in Cyprus

Stanley Eteimo's body was found floating in a private beach in Cyprus on Thursday 8th August. The 28 year budding singer and student had gone to a party at a popular 5-star hotel called Kratos Hotel the previous day Wednesday August 7th with some friends.

According to the friends of the late Bayelsa state indigene, while at the party, he met a white girl he knew from school and started chatting with her. The white girl's boyfriend, who was also at the party, got jealous and confronted Stanley, which led to serious argument between the two men. The white dude allegedly threatened to kill Stanley for disrespecting him and was overhead saying nothing will happen because Stanley was in his country.

At 2am, some of the friends Stanley came with to the party were leaving and asked him to come along but he insisted he was still having fun and wanted to stay back. By 4am, the party had ended and the Nigerian boys who left at the close of the party didn't see him and assumed he had gone home.

By 3pm on Thursday 8th of August, management of Kratos Hotel called the police informing them of seeing a body floating by the shore of their private beach. It was Stanley.
Cyprus police have declared it a suicide case without autopsy. They are claiming he committed suicide by drowning himself. His brother who went to identify Stanley's body said he saw blood stain from his ear, mouth and nose.
The brother insists it's not suicide because Stanley had no reason to commit suicide and wants the guy who threatened him at the party that night investigated. Also, the hotel refused to provide CCTV tapes of that particular day. During the day, the 5star hotel has workers, life guards and security guards, who have all denied either seeing Stanley come in or go out of the premises.

I will advise you as a brother. Please, don't come to North Cyprus as it's a no place. Degree from North Cyprus are not recognize by EU as the country is an illegal Island and if you graduate here, you can only use the degree in either Turkey or Nigeria and as i speak to you now, i will be coming to Nigeria tomorrow to come an make application to a better country and up to 9 Nigerians have travel back to Nigeria this week alone because the land is a frustrated land. I don't have problem with the racial discrimination
I don't have problem with the country
My problem is after graduation from the country, what next? Because you can't even use the certificate to work in EU.
My flat mate got an offer for a job in the other part of Cyprus and they told him that they are sorry they can't accept degree from North Cyprus that the only way they can accept him is if he apply with his Nigeria certificate and secondly, menial jobs are not readily available for students to do part time and this has force some students to take up car wash jobs and manual jobs like carrying blocks after working from 8am to 5pm, they will pay you 50 Turkish Lira which is equivalent to around 20 Euro's. Poland is better as it's a Schengen country and a member of EU.

This is just the truth...most times i want to nail it directly like this but many will think oooo becos he works with EMU thats why he says wrong things about the others...You have nailed it and say it the real way!...

Each semester will have flung of students transferring to EMU from these universities after the students discover what they are in for and some have started to transfer to METU but METU is too strict to accept some of these menaces. Currently am writing a proposal to EMU which may make internal transfer slightly difficult and also ways to weed out students on leave of absence for more than 2 semesters.

Oga wip expect a hundred loads of students from haspolat ooo, do you know lecturers transfer too, lol. I had 8courses in CIU for for my M.Sc course year and 5 of the tutors where professors from mammara,Bolgacizi and Istanbul tech. uni.even the 3 remaining,2 are leaving for NEU. The owner doesn't want to pay them on full time. I know new ones will come, but the matter be say CIU is a business school,no wonder the only academic building in the school has the inscription 'business school'.lol

Could you please throw more lights on what u tryna say. Or betterstil fados4sure may highlight whats is intended here for me so i will be better prepared. Thanks in advance.

CIU is very unstable in its rules not only about their admission but concerning everything they do,for example they might tell you they are affiliated to university of Sunderland today, tomorrow its Wolverhampton, a day after tomorrow it is a a distant learning partnership with campus in Cyprus etc etc. but one thing is certain they care more about the money(maybe because it is a one man's business).

If your results are good enough to get you admitted why don't you try EMU or NEU,this is solely my opinion and I write this because I know if someone in CIU said it wasn't good enough before or something this MIGHT also reoccur in your registration after you might have been in the Island, because Staff are changed like undergarments in CIU,so there are chances that whoever rejected your result has been changed and who is approving now will be changed before you get to the Island. TOO MANY CIU FRUSTRATED PEOPLE IN THE ISLAND ALREADY.Be warned!!!
