Yasirarafat, can you show us all your apps? It's most likely caused by a recently installed app which you may need to uninstall.

I got a perfect one for this. Give me some time.

Hello Everyone, a new challenge will be posted very soon.. The thread is to encourage everyone to go out and take great pictures.. It's not a competition.. So I urge everyone to be in contact with passion and let great images flow this week.. We hope for an inspiring Challenge too.
Thank goodness.

Problem about this week was its best if you have someone to model for you. Only so much you can do trying to take a picture of your other hand. Had so many great ideas, but no one available to model for me. embarassed

Excited for the next one!
Music/RadioRe: A thread for acoustic guitarist: beginners,amateurs and professionals by HyDef(m): 10:59pm On May 31, 2016
As for me, I've been trying to expand my repertoire.

Almost perfect playing Always by Panic! At The Disco, meanwhile I can play Blackbird by the Beatles perfectly.

Learning the riff from I See Fire. Just need to smoothen it..

Learning the major scale. I suck at improvisation.

You have deep ingrained issues man. Deep issues.
And talking about a games, I'm a game freak.. Name it Consoles( PS,Nintendo, X-Box) , Phone (Android, IOS), but here I'm learning something new and having fun at it. No knowledge is ever wasted man.
But you... Gbam, deep issues.
Don't mind him. And I love games too. Started with the N64 as a kid. Just... Don't mind him. sad

Here we go!

Wonderful pictures here, I think I have an idea for this week's shot. Hopefully I can take it on my own.

Nice attempts but some of them merely include the hands, not with them as 'subject'. I think the point was more than the hands are the main focus of the picture.

SmooshCHN:
I love the first picture..

On the 3 picture, why did you take out detail in the foreground? Cos our eyes keeps going to the empty sky..
Thanks. It's probably my new favourite. Almost missed taking the shot.

For the third picture, I felt there wasn't much in the foreground apart from foliage, and I tend to prefer negative space in my pictures, but looking at it now, perhaps I might have overdone it. smiley That's what I love about here though. We can always learn from each other.

Thought I'd take some time off from the Challenge thread and post some shots I took recently that I really really like!

Reference to the picture please, would like to see the "Big Fat Lie". The pictures are meant to be taken by yourself, irrespective of whatever camera (phone or DSLR). JUST TAKEN BY YOU.

I just can't wait for the thread to return to normal.
UJE, your picture for this week theme (the one taking while reading, please take a bow)
It's on page 8. I don't want to quote the guy.

SmooshCHN, Victoriousvic, Ujsizzle

Hopefully by next week the madness in this thread will die down... I've given up on explaining to them.

But did anyone notice anything odd about a very highly zoomed photo of the Moon supposedly taken with a Q10? Is that possible, even with a mobile lens?
Science/TechnologyRe: Why Do Cockroaches Die With Their Belly Facing Up? by HyDef(m): 9:40am On May 28, 2016
Silkmoth33:
Guy you've got it all wrong! These invertebrates don't have the complex central nervous system as higher animals! Their is no neurotransmitter or nervous system potentiating the propagation of action potentials in this organism.
Furthermore! AntiAcetylcholinesterases don't selectively pick out certain neural synapses to block! It's always all or nothing. A block will result in any of the following: fasciculations, floppyiness and paralysis not spasms or tremors.
Block of inhibitory neurotransmitter receptors would cause spasms or tremors.

I don't know if you were serious when you said they have no nervous system or neurotransmitters. They do..

And for the answer to the op, a Google search came up with:

"Cockroaches, apparently, have bulky bodies (composing of 3 heavy body segments) which are only supported by 6 long thin legs, As they die, they lose muscle-control causing the leg muscles to contract. As a result, the legs are forced to be pulled beneath the body causing them to lose their balance, and topple over. This also explains why cockroaches on the wall fall off when they were crawling on the wall and got sprayed with insecticides.

Is flipping over always the case?

No. There is still a possibility for a cockroach to die without toppling over. However, it is inherent upon these insects to involuntary experience muscle contraction and end up lying on their back upon dying."

This photo is fantastic, to tell the truth. But it's the opposite of this week's theme. sad

To all ye newcomers! This week is 'From Above'! Pictures from above a subject, from a high point looking down, or an elevation! Hopefully most of you will stay for the next challenge!

THIS IS NOT A SELFIE THREAD.
Thank you.

Here's what is probably my last submission for this challenge. I didn't enjoy this week... Found it hard.

Water Treatment Plant in UCH, Ibadan.

I get that error maybe 3 times a day, but not always, and it definitely doesn't make the phone reboot for me. No idea what might be causing it.

National Conservation Foundation, Lekki. Suspended walkway bridge.
Lovely picture, lovely site. Next time, try and center yourself more precisely, perfect symmetry would be great here.

I haven't taken any great shots for this week's challenge. Hopefully tomorrow, but I'll just put this old picture that falls into this week's criteria for the time being. I don't really like it though.

The likes of chevrolet camaro, mustang muscle, Porsche panerama, Jaguar hybrid and many others than i forgot....

Op, open another trade sometimes later on this same thread! Then, try to get more information! Nigerians have lots of sophisticated cars at their disposal...
These cars you mentioned, well at least the first two, are nowehere near the prices of the rest. Beautiful muscle cars they are, but just not as expensive. Both in the range of about 40,000 dollars.

7. Lamborghini Aventador
Price: $399,500 (₦79,500,500)
This is is the hottest car on the list. Look at how a person in a whole G-wagon is taking pictures of it. :p I don't like G-wagons anyway.

I like Ferraris and the SLS AMG. I hate all Porsches except the 918 Spyder.

Aint no one got a GT-R in this country? cry

seunajia:
Yeah, Reventón looks like the batmobile. It is internally a Murciélago. It is however not as limited as the Veneno. The Huracán is my other love.

Many people don't know, Volkswagen group owns Volkswagen, Bentley, Audi, Lamborghini, Bugatti, Ducati, Porsche, Seat, MAN and Skoda grin

BMW owns Rolls-Royce.

Renault holds major shares in Nissan which owns Infiniti and Datsun.

Toyota owns Lexus and Scion

GM owns GMC, Chevrolet, Cadillac, Vauxhall and Opel.
Bruh, you know your car stuff man.

I knew about Toyota and VW, and some of GM. But BMW and Renault? Never knew.

Nissan is me favourite though, mainly cuz of the GT-R and 370Z, along with some of the older Z cars, so I knew about Infiniti and Datsun.
