Hi nairalanders there's this my fowl that although i fed it regularly i still allow it to go out in search of food nd play with other fowls in our neighbourhood. This fowl always finds way back home each day since i started training it bt last night being easter saturday it went out nd did nt come bck again. What will make someone to kidnapp dat fowl? Is dis the effect of e recession riddled society? What baffles me is that this fowl has nt yet mature jst 2months+fowl. GOD help this country

Hi niralanders jst this morning as me nd my brother was outside we saw something dat looked like an aligator rigmarolling withing our varenda nd decided to kill it. Though am nt sure of the name buh my Dad says its meat is delicious nd can be used for pepper-soup

As i lay on my bed dis morning i began to reflect on issues concerning MMM & Judging from the fact That d Federal government & CBN has warned people and dissuaded them frm such ventures nd judging from d biblical point of view which tells us to obey d laws of d land & that too much intrest/gain is a sin. my question is can it be said dat MMM is illegal nd also sinful?

in dat case dey should scrap even d existing kannywood nt Africa magic hausa cos it will corrupt pipu

The Coordinator of the National Headquarters Annex, Lagos of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, Beatrice Okorie, has expressed regret over the technical issues encounter in some centres in the ongoing UTME.
According to her, most of the technical issues encountered were unforeseen circumstances and could happen anywhere and to anyone.
“We, indeed, regret the entire challenges because we mean well for the Nigerian-child. “We, however, must realize that these facilities are machines and can breakdown without warning. “Computers and generators are machines, just like cars.
“You can service your car today and take it out but on the way it can develop another fault. “We actually went round for accreditation and a routine check of the various centres and their facilities before accreditation for the examination, which commenced on February 27.”
She further stated that no candidate participating in the ongoing UTME would suffer any penalties as a result of such issues and mentioned that the board has rectified the issues in the affected centres.
She added that there will be an improvement in the conduct of the Computer Based Test by 2017.

Hi nairalander as i was re-checking my result i found out that they wrote 2015/2016 session instead of 2016/2017 session. is it that they mistakenly gave us peoples last yrs scores that coincided with our reg number? share ur own experience people!!

Hi nairalanders i happen to check the score of my friend nd dis is what i saw. pls what do u guys think it mean?

yes cos it affected me alot cos my english was my strong hold going into d exam

Comprehension carries 3 marks each nd forcado carries 2 marks each
They usually ask 3 comprehension passage in d exam nd 5 questions from d 3 passage making it 15 questions in all in d comprehension session Now lets say i had bad luck nd managed to get 3 questions out of d 15 correctly 3x3marks = (9marks) then lets say i now attempted 10 forcado question nd got 9 cos e too cheap 9x2marks (18marks)

Now 18marks frm forcado + 9 mark frm comprehension = 27marks jst frm dose two section So where did they store my remaining marks frm synonyms,antonyms,interpretation,stress,lexis,fill in d gap nd co? that my total score in english will be 28.

itz high time they scrap jamb or they go back to drawing board. thats how theywere giving pipu 40marks d oda time becos of errors they did.

Hi nairalanders pardon my writing style am new to the site i jst want to highlight how jamb nd ume struggle have made students to deviate from their career path.

here are some points below:

1- they will make you change ur #course: u will see students aspiring to study law,med&surg etc frm childhood days jst to change their course to parasitology,kitchen management,hausa education etc after so many attempts.

2-they will make u venture into business: alot of guys after trying countless times drift into business or learn hand work after trying for about 5yrs.

3-they will facilitate #marriage: so many gals have married becos of admission frustration after so many attempts.

Hi nairalanders i heard something that made me to punder 2day as two men aged 24 and 25 respectively are set to do frog jump from federal housing in kubwa abuja to the eagles square to commomerate the innauguration of general Mohamadu Buhari.

i remember not going to school because of the little frog jump i did the previous day. and to you fellow nairalander do you think its posible?
