Commentor: Average pair of jeans in UK is £100. Average pair of jeans in US is $80.
These are not huge designer names.
You could go to TJ Maxx and get for $30.
You'll buy what you paid for. The three sentences are quite erroneous or exaggerated at best and it’s TK Maxx, expensive but bland outfits |

fabolouz1: is D'banj still active? The Koko master was once the king of the airwaves but competition dealt him a big blow. There is a universal law or physiological law which states that once you attained a position, you’ll come to be synonymous with that position and under certain circumstances could even still achieve the same feats in later years. Everyone knows Dbanj was a king of Africa one time, and so just like previous super stars that revived their careers, he could still possibly get a smash hit next week sef if he partners with Rema and co so it’s still going |

DeLaRue: Great.
The stress the petrol marketers unleashed on Nigeria in the last 10 years or so is unforgettable. Anything to disrupt their greed and stranglehold on long suffering motorists is welcome.
I hope someone will do same thing in other sectors.
Imagine rice that was sold last month for around N70,000 per bag has been hijacked by marketers mopping rice from markets to store only to start selling the same thing for N100,000 after they created the scarcity.
A supplement sold on Amazon for $11 is sold on Jumia for N34,000. How? Pure greed everywhere.
And then they turn around to blame the government. A good number of Nigerians are greedy, both within and outside the country, compared to other nationalities |

Education › Re: US Schools Turn To Handwritten Exams As AI Cheating Surges by Hypnotise: 3:51pm On Jul 07, 2025 |
Alusiizizi: I did ElectEng in University in a system where all of our exams were either open notes, open book(where the student was allowed to bring any written text into the exam hall and use any information contained in aforementioned text to his aid in completing the exam) or the student was allowed one self written "cheat-sheet"(here, the student is allowed to write any and all information(equations, identities e.t.c) that he believes will help him in the examination). Now here's the paradox: If you found yourself having refer to any of the literature that you were allowed to bring into the exam hall then you were almost certainly going to fail the exam. In the system that I schooled in, actually understanding the course-work was far more valuable than rote-memorizing, and here's where oral examinations can be important. While any half-wit can copy down something that they got from the ChatGPT every single one of them, without exception, will fail when they are forced to face an oral defense panel. In oral examination, some students might suddenly experience stage fright or loss of memorised material, starts to panic. Some subjects are well suited to oral rendition, like law, however some other subjects do need complex calculations to show workings, physics. |
