What you do is you stimulate the Male turkey (a matured one will do just well). In doing this, you will see the turkey release some semen which you simply use your syringe to collect from the surface. (The syringe is just for collection purposes for the males).

2. Yes, you don't need to have a male turkey so long you can get it from someone's male turkey to fertilize your female hens who are ready to lay.

(Also, there are lots of videos on the procedure on YouTube. It's easy trust me )

Lol... All you need is a 5ml syringe to suck it out. It's quite easier than it sounds . When that's done, same syringe is inserted into the opening of the female turkey. Gbam!!! That's it.
(In most cases, I do part dilution of the semen depending on the numbers of turkeys. I don't remember doing it for more than 5 hens then sha)

Sorry for my funny questions. Where do I insert the syringe in the male turkeys? Do they have a pouch or something filled with semen or should I just google it?

And also, does it mean that I don't need to have a male turkey before I get fertilized eggs? (So far I have to beg someone that has male turkeys and carry out the procedure)

Wrong term I guess. What I meant to say is getting the sperm from the Male foreign turkeys and inserting it into the local females to get better hybrids. (I also use this methods for the foreign ones because natural breeding between them is not that successful in most cases; I end up losing the females most times due to injuries)

Yes, I did. And I was much careful afterwards. It was around mid 2020 and escalated around January 2021. I was even told to go for a scan to confirm it. After that treatment (it wasn't easy due to the number of drugs, especially the antibiotics that was prescribed for 2 weeks) I haven't had any serious episode of ulcer. So please, go to the hospital (na beg I dey beg) as the wound keeps widening if it is not treated quickly.

It might be too late for that. Try and go to the hospital tomorrow morning to complain. They may have to add some strong antibiotics to your drugs (methanidazole family). Mind you, I am not prescribing drugs for you; I am just trying to help me as a result of what I also experienced. Another antacid suspension may even be prescribed for you, but you can't know all these things if you don't go to the hospital. Please don't play with your health.

This is strange to me because I called the Doctor she meet and the man said that they only show the people their result without giving them the receipt. I did my own last week although it was in a private hospital I was given the paper conspicuously showing my negative status, I'm planning of taking her to that same private hospital or other government hospital for confirmation.

When I did one a decade ago, the result was not given to me, probably because I only saw them conducting free tests and decided to tag along . It might be the policy of the hospital (maybe it's the free type she went for).
