I think am beginning to see things from the angle of these fuel stations, this is how it works, imagine buying fuel for 1million and selling at the #185, you are projected to make #1.2m, now that subsidy has been removed if they sell for #185 and make #1.2m by the time they want to buy new fuel after subsidy removal the quantity gotten for 1m might have risen to #2.5m, now they only have #1.2m where will they see the remaining money to buy? Hence the hike in order to meet up, some are even keeping it so as to sell at a price they can use to purchase fuel at new post subsidy amount. so it might not necessarily be greediness, lots of fuel stations might fold up.
