Handsomeemmy: I am compel to comment because of the type of comment i'm reading here, i doubt if most of the people commenting negatively take time to see the video. I'm not a fan of d-banj or Don Jazzy type of music, i have my own genre of music that i like, but if you are the type that pay attention to details and give meaning to songs, this song make more sense than most of the trash our musician churn out almost everyday, the video is very much ok, the lyrics appeal to all africans and give us the pride that with everything in place, we are top of the world. The setting for the video is also cool.
I know everyone is entitle to their own view, but hate it or like it, the song and the video is on point.

Don't hate or like for no reason, He who knows the right thing to do and refuse to do it , to him it is a sin.

Before you guys crucify me, i don't have any of their music on my phone or lappy.
Good one!

ShehuAba: Okay sir, let me first of all say that the article is meant to learn from a person's mistake i.e From an Islamic angle.
I stated categorically that many muslims are in this same situation but just don't do anything about it.
As per the hatred you said you perceive in it. I dare to ask you. Hatred for what or for who?
As regards a muslim marrying a non! Muslim, that is the teachings of Islam, and if you look at it from a realistic point of view, compatibility is needed for a succesful marriage, except that's met, it's contrary to islamic teachings.
Thanks for contributing

Like you posted earlier, the Olu denounced being a traditionalist and being a christian. He later changed to a traditionalist again after threats from his people of destroying his properties and probably taking his life. As a human being, he had to change to a traditionalist again. Many people criticizing him here would have done tin same. You spoke about compatibility been the one of the strong points of a marriage but stand to disagree with you on that. I believe love is is the bane of any marriage. I don't see religion as something that should stop a couple from been married if they truly love each other. Compatibility in marriage is required but marriage worths more than that. You should note something that christianity or islam religions are both borrowed or adopted from the foreigners. We've so much allowed religion to differentiate us. As for hatred which I mentioned earlier, it's certainly what sort would promote. Marriage bonds us together more than any other thing on earth. Religion should bring us together not differentiate us. God bless Nigeria!
Islam › Re: Olu Of Warri's Travails And The Lessons Learnt by iamdsam:
@OP I got a big problem about what you posted in the first part of your post. You posted that a muslim girl must marry a muslim man. Glu simply means me being a christian can't marry a muslim girl? If I truly love a muslim girl, I won't be able to marry her because we aren't of the same faith? Is this what religion suppose to promote? Should religion bring us together or differentiate us? Your post got some post of element of hatred? People like you are the ones promoting religious crisis that's going on in this country right now. I mean no offence
Islam › Re: Olu Of Warri's Travails And The Lessons Learnt by iamdsam: 10:50am On Sep 20, 2013
@OP Which Olu of Warri? Is there an Olu of Warri? I reside in Warri and I don't know such. And I can bet you that nobody gives a damn if there's really an Olu or whatever here. Majority of our monarchs in Nigeria has lost it. What do I mean by thathuh They are simply too corrupt. They collaborate with politicians to steal money from the public purse and also indulge in other corrupt and illegal practices. Very few monarchs can be picked when mentioning monarchs in Nigeria e.g Oba of Benin
Politics › Who's Better As A President? Obasanjo Or Goodluck? by iamdsam(op): 4:28pm On Sep 19, 2013
I don't need to explain how both has faired so far. We've seen how both have taken their decisions when it comes to security issues and other problems or issues relating to the country. Though Goodluck is still the acting president, I think it's good to do this comparison. Who's better as president? Obasanjo or Goodluck?
Education › Re: Private Or Public School. Which Is Better? by iamdsam: 4:13pm On Sep 19, 2013
Both are rubbish. I've gone to both. Public schools don't teach with bad schooling environment and private schools indulge in examination malpractices with teachers that aren't well educated

alutacontinua: @bolded is the cold hard truth. I have an 18-yr old in my class...clinical phase of medicine (that's like part 4 in Nigeria)...she's a very intelligent girl and people are alwayz envying her. I'm sure she must have learnt 1-200 before she was 6 for her to have made it that far. Whether we like it or not, the world has gone beyond a 21-yr old child still struggling with JAMB. The truth is our brain can take a lot of tinz, we're d ones that under-estimate it. I think if the child can handle it, let him/her be! The competition out there is not a joke!
You're just posting crab. Nigeria isn't in any competition or whatever is going on in the world. Can the schools even admit all those who pass? Are there jobs? What the hell are you posting? Thank God for people like Bill Gates. Everybody must not go to school. Foolish Nigerian mentality you got. No sorry

hob200: I am an educationist and I run a school and i can tell you categorically they are over doing it. That time between the age of 0-6 is meant for children to learn thru play, they need to learn sensorial abilities, develop their physical and social life and try to understand the world we leave in not burden them with so much numbers and alphabet. Research has shown that it is wrong to do that to a child. If you need more clarification just ask I will be willing to give you base on a professional point of view.
Hmmm

pickabeau1: More important than writing

Does the child understand what ten or twenty is

Or else its just rote
He got to know how to write it first before understanding it later as he grows up. My opinion
Family › Re: Is My Son's School "Over Teaching?" by iamdsam: 8:58pm On Sep 17, 2013
Audrey I: @topic: As incredible as it sounds(and I know this sounds far fetched) but, my daughter will be starting in at Nursery 1 on Monday and she writes 1 - 200 on her own. She's 3. She can also do basic additions, subtractions and can write two and three letter words. Just like your son, she's also been taught basic sentence construction. So your son's school is not over doing it.

While I understand your concerns about your child developing at a reasonable pace, I still feel you should be proud of him and the school, especially if he's recieving a well rounded education that includes mental, physical, social and moral developement.

Truth is, we live in a highly competitive world, and it isn't too early to begin to equip your child with much needed education, especially in this era where most employers operate a policy of 'the younger, the better.'
My best comment. This is the simple fact

omajali2003: It is very pathetic that the musical icons that we have in Nigeria do not have the virtues that would make us wish our children were like them. A musician whose lyrics tell you nothing more than sex and how to use vaseline for it should be cast into the jungle to entertain animals and not sane human being. What NBC has done is very light!
You're right. They're all for the money
