Laparoscopic dont unblock tube please dont be deceived and is not up to 200k i did mine at uch Ibadan is just 30k and is only to check your womb and tube if it open or not. You can read about it online and have knowledge of it. Look for another place to do it. My sister is not easy but God will help you. Am still going for my own HSG tomorrow despite Lapa i did. As for me after this no more test again waiting for God miracle

I think you should wait it out a bit according to experience.

I had an evacuation after miscarriage and just because I was desperate to get pregnant again I had sex same week thinking I would get pregnant again forgetting I can't even ovulate before 2 or 4weeks. I did it because I read some where that am most fertile after a miscarriage. Mind you I was still spotting from the evacuation I did. It resulted to infection I guess because I had to TTC for 18months again before I got pregnant, that is even after a laparoscopy and heteroscopy diagnostic surgery where a die was used to flush my tube. 2weeks after that surgery I got pregnant. It shows something was blocking my tube after that first evacuation due to my carelessness I guess.

Please let your body heal and make sure you use your antibiotic and you stop bleeding before sex again.Give your self a week or 2 more before sex again.

@Rejoice, does it mean that a blocked tube can be unblock during a laparotomy?...... my gynea asked me to do laparoscopy but am scared

It's different from flushing, I did mine at a private hospital and it cost me 45k then.

here, why is it costly at UITH,ilorin?200k. God

Just try relax because it's important so as not harm yourself the more. I think 200k is too much o. I spoke with a doctor in Kogi state last month concerning Laparoscopy and the price he gave was 45k but I didn't later travel down because I wasn't ready yet. So try and check other places with capable hands cause that 200k is on a high side. God will surely see us through.

@Nicejo,thank you. 200k? I tired o. its just that HSG test could not see my right tube & I've done 3HSG that is why gynea suggested laparoscopy. I hope it can unblock blocked tube?

my dear sisters in the house. am fed up o. infact, am not happy. everything is so devastated. I went to the see my Gynea today, she said all my tests (hormones, pelvic scan & semen analysis) re good but my hsg results said left tube patent & right tube could not be seeing due to contrast spasm, so she suggested laparoscopy to be sure that the tubes are OK. But guess how much-#200,000. is that how much they do the surgery? secondly, if there is any blockages can it be open during a laparoscopy? my heart is heavy

dear sisters in the house, pls, which other test can I do - I've done hsg(3x)(right tube patent but left tube could not be seen due to constrast spasm), pelvic scan(NORMAL). I had miscarriage almost a year(foetus stopped development), hormone profile test(waiting for the gynea to interpret the results). pls, what is the next tests? here's d hormone test.

It usually takes time for your period to get back to normal after a miscarriage, mine took almost a year to get back to normal. Just relax, everything would fall in place.

Sorry dear, for what you are going through, I understand. Please ma, if you are in lagos try and get these abo called omodara. That is what my friend used and conceived, after a miscarriage similar to yours.

@futuremoma, I didn't see blood o. it was scan that determine it so I did evacuation. next month will make it 1year & no pregnancy again. am at the hospital now to collect my hormones profile test

mamas in the house, please, help me. I don't know my cycle anymore. I had miscarriage last year May 13 said the fetus stopped developing at 12weeks & haven't conceived again since. I've done hsg 3times said my left tube is patent but couldn't see my right tube because of spasm. just did hormonal profile, seeing gynea tomorrow to see the results. my period cycle has changed since I miscarriage. this month menses was late 7days & was even happy thinking I was pregnant because its unusual. now I don't even know how to calculate ovulation because am not having the egg white unlike before I miscarriage

You guys should help me and thank God o! God has been good and faithful in all my travails. The scan showed 2 embryos implanted. We're having twins! Please someone should tell me am not dreaming. Been celebrating in tears since I returned from the clinic today. God has been wonderful after all this 6yrs of hopelessness. I thank all of u for putting me in ur prayers. Hi, just so you know, a colleague of mine got her BFP today after 4 years of ttc. Just last month, we talked about flushing and she said she was going to try it out. Fortunately for her she did the blood test today and it was positive. So it actually works!

thanks for this post, I will discuss with my gynea next tomorrow about the "flushing". my hsg said "1 patient tube but the other tube is not demonstrated due to spasm.

I've been trying to join this forum for long to no availability but thank God I was abortion joined today.
Hmm, where do I start from? OK: I got married August 15th,2015 and it took me down to 2018(3years) before I could concentrate for the first time in the marriage. I was asked to do HSG by my Gynaecologist & fortunately I got pregnant that same month(February,2018). Everything was going on so well during the pregnancy until when I went for my 2nd scan at week 12 & I was told that the foetus has stopped growing but the sac is growing. I felt so devastated, the doctor asked me to go to another hospital for scan to be double sure but the results was d same. I felt bad. I did evacuation & since then till now about 9months now, no pregnancy again. i don't no what's wrong so I just changed to a Federal Hospital department of gynecologist maybe they can help.
The cause of the miscarriage was unknown but what I noticed was that I was sick during pregnancy & was given some antimalarial drugs plus some drugs for chest pain(Asmacof syrup) when I had chest pain. Could these drugs be the cause of the miscarriage?
pls, help, because its not easy going to 4yrs now
