What are the procedures you take in doing that?

Note: I'm not asking anybody to help me with that, I just want to know how the application is done since one will be travelling alongside the Governor or King. Thanks

Salam alaykum waramatullahi wabarakathu.

I m curious to know how possible one can come across a knowledgeable imam that will officiate Aqiqa (naming ceremony) without collecting money from the visitors on that particular day.

I believe it's a usual tradition by some Alfas to officiate in such manner and they tend to favour themselves instead of the family that calls them to officiate.

Why is it so?

It is so, because they have no job or they are greedy. Don't you attend any halqoh in your neighborhood? I guess you should be able to get one through that.

Even though you don't need to call any Alfa for the aqeeqah. Just print the name of your Blessed Child in a small paper, give it to those that come to rejoice with you and give them food to eat. As simple as that, don't stress yourself about it bro.

Focus on the issue. The shahada was an EXAMPLE.

Islam claims it is monotheistic. YET the shahada and the other passages I gave (with still much more in your books) put Mohamed SIDE BY SIDE with Allah. No other prophet is so equated.

So, Islam is not all about Allah ALONE. Islam is not just about Allah. Islam at best puts Mohamed at par with Allah.

Where then is the monotheism claim?

It means regarding someone as the partner of another. So, the belief that there is someone else who must be obeyed ABSOLUTELY besides Allah falls into this. Associating others with Allah in love and veneration, by loving a created being as loving Allah equally falls into reckoning here. Mohamed is so venerated.
Firstly, your definition is not complete. You probably single out the partnership in Love and Veneration alone, and associating partners with Allah is more than that. Then you mentioned loving Allah EQUALLY as Allah, note the word you used EQUALLY how do we love the Prophet (peace be upon him) as much as we love Allah. You're shooting yourself in the leg bro.

Moslems have violated their own concept of Islamic monotheism by grouping both Allah and Mohamed together denoting partnership, thereby making Mohamed Allah’s equal.

The TYPICAL example is the shahada where no one can become a Moslem on the basis of believing in Allah ALONE. He must ALSO BELIEVE in Mohamed. He does not even add other prophets to the equation in saying the shahada.

Look at this too:
"And obey Allah AND the Messenger, that you may be shown mercy." Q. 3:132
The Shahada is the example you can bring up. You just failed woefully bro. The Shahada is just the summary of 7 things, which consists of other prophets too. Where the believe in all the messengers is one of it. Believing in Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) alone doesn't make you a believer in Allah. So you must believe in every other prophets sent by Allah. The same also applies to believing in the books given to the Messengers, the Quran is a summary of all other books. So Prophet Muhammad is too. If a Muslim only believe in the Quran as the only word of God and doesn't believe in the books given to other prophets, then the person is not a Muslim.

So you can't expect a new Muslim to be saying the Shahada thus: "I bear witness that no one is worthy of worship except Allah, and I bear witness that Adam, Noah, Enoch, Joseph, Jesus, Moses, Muhammad, John, David(peace be upon all of them) etc are the prophets of Allah. Does that make sense to you? Someone would just have to mention thousands of Prophets because he wants to become a Muslim? That's weird and stressful.

OK, now let me ask you how do you think the Shahada should be like?

It's all fake, bro. Although sometimes the "possessed" participants are dragged into believing it too. All humans have a far greater capacity for delusion, self-deception and hallucination than we tend to give ourselves credit for. There's not a shred of evidence for anything remotely like demonic possession and the facts fit perfectly with the explanation that it's all in the heads of the "possessed" and the wishful hearts and fallible senses of the onlookers. The idea of demons is a very ancient one.

There's a fascinating section in Sagan's Demon Haunted World which discusses the origin of the idea. As the centuries passed the literature told different tales of what demons were. Originally, according to reputable experts of the times, they used to live in the skies, then began to interfere with human affairs, then were responsible for every negative action and error. They were perhaps most well known for being the cause of all disease. They used to seduce and interbreed with humans producing witches and sometimes replaced people with identical demonic counterparts (who the church then burnt). Only in recent centuries did the obsession begin to regress and now "demons" only appear in the houses and bodies of the pious having been quenched by a greater understanding of the world and replaced by other fantasies.
What are you saying gaan?

This Op reminds me of my Statistics lecturer who happens to be an Edo Muslim.

There's no point in questioning things that are beyond your understanding. You can't understand the bible with carnal knowledge. That is why a scripture would give a thousand or more interpretations.
Why is the Bible beyond human knowledge? Didn't God g8ve us intellects to reason with what us around us. Are you a goat that is only created for its meat? Obviously, we are only created to worship our Lord and Creator. Do you think God can make us do things that we can't comprehend? What interpretation does the scriptures give? Is it English to English interpretation or Greek to English interpretation?

My lecturer said Christ death demystified God. Why would God allow his son to be killed by men according to the bible when he's God? He forgot that after his death, there was a resurrection. He also forgot that dying was one of Christ's mission on earth. He was not killed by accident.
I can't even sense any demystification in the death, if I can't comprehend the death and resurrection as you claimed with my God given brain. Until I possess some spirituality in me. I th8nk you misused the word "demytification". If the power of God is to be demystified, He should just forgive everyone at a time and there won't be a need for some9ne to be put to death for other people's sin.

Now, I don't see a difference BTW the op's point and my lectuerers point. Seems you Muslims are taught in mosque while Mohammed is better than Christ. On the contrary, we don't even have the time to discuss Islam in church.
There are many differences, I guess you didn't read the post very well. Allah says about the believers: ..."We make no distinction between one and another of His Messengers"... Quran 2 verse 285 So we didn't say Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is better than Prophet Jesus(peace be upon him) rather we only want to clear the confusion caused by Paul the Antichrist in the original religion of Jesus(peace be upon him).

Now back to the op, I know there are spiritual leaders who have PHD in the bible. The Likes of Chris Oyakhilome. I don't believe you know the bible more than him. Wonder why Freeze has never mentioned him in his posts?

Having said that, isn't Mohammed a man? Why should I take a man, a mere mortal whose knowledge is limited seriously?
Jesus is also a man as proved in the Bible which you also know. If he's not a man then what is he?

Trying to perfect your Taqyia ? Not working terrorist.

The following quotes are taken from the most trusted Yusufali’s translation of the Qur’an.

The Qur’an tells us: “not to make friendship with Jews and Christians” (5:51), “kill the disbelievers wherever we find them” (2:191), “murder them and treat them harshly” (9:123), “fight and slay the Pagans, seize them, beleaguer them, and lie in wait for them in every stratagem”

(9:5). The Qur’an demands that we fight the unbelievers, and promises “If there are twenty amongst you, you will vanquish two hundred: if a hundred, you will vanquish a thousand of them” (8:65).

Allah and his messenger want us to fight the Christians and the Jews “until they pay the Jizya [a penalty tax for the non-Muslims living under Islamic rules] with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued” (9:29).

Sura 9 - Ayat 32

Islam for Muslims / Definition Of Miserliness According To Islamic Teachings by iamgenius(m): 6:51am On Apr 25, 2019
Question

When is a man being stingy towards his wife and children according to Islamic teachings? Some people think that I am doing what is obligatory, and others think that I am somewhat miserly.

Answer

Praise be to Allah.

Firstly:

Miserliness is a blameworthy characteristic, and what disease can be worse than miserliness? The scholars have differed concerning its definition.

Ibn Muflih (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The scholars mentioned a number of opinions concerning the definition of miserliness, including the following:

1) Withholding zakaah; the one who gives it cannot be described as a miser.

2) Withholding obligatory spending, such as zakaah and maintenance. Based on that, if a person gives zakaah but withholds other kinds of obligatory spending, then he is regarded as miserly. [This view was favoured by Ibn al-Qayyim and others].

3) Doing that which is obligatory in terms of spending as well as (extra) acts of generosity and charity. If a person does not do the latter, then he is regarded as miserly. [This view was favoured by al-Ghazali and others]. End quote from al-Aadaab ash-Shar‘iyyah (3/303).

Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The miserly person is the one who withholds what he is required to give. The one who gives all that he is obliged to give cannot be called miserly; rather the miserly person is the one who withholds what is due from him to give.

End quote from Jalaa’ al-Afhaam (p. 385). Al-Qurtubi (5/193) said something similar.

Al-Ghazali (may Allah have mercy on him) said:

The miserly person is the one who withholds when he should not withhold, either according to Islamic teaching or according to common decency. This is not something that can be quantified.

End quote from Ihyaa’ ‘Uloom ad-Deen (3/260).

Shaykh Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allah have mercy on him) said something similar:

Miserliness is withholding what is obligatory and what should be given.

End quote from Sharh Riyaadh as-Saaliheen (3/410).

Secondly:

A man is obliged to spend on his wife and children on a reasonable basis. That includes providing food, drink, clothing, shelter, and everything the wife and children need that is essential, such as medical treatment, education and so on.

That spending should be according to the husband’s means and his financial situation, because Allah, may He be exalted, says (interpretation of the meaning):

“Let a man of wealth spend from his wealth, and he whose provision is restricted - let him spend from what Allah has given him. Allah does not charge a soul except [according to] what He has given it”

[at-Talaaq 65:7].

The obligatory spending on one’s wife and children varies according to how well off or otherwise the husband is. Whoever is well off should spend as one who is well off spends on his wife and children; if he imposes constraints on them in terms of spending, then he is regarded as miserly, because he is failing to do what is enjoined upon him.

The one who is not well off should spend as one who is not well off spends. Whoever is of moderate means should spend according to his situation, and Allah does not burden any soul with more than He has given it.

There is no set limit for that according to Islamic teaching; rather reference should be made to what is customary among the people.

Conclusion:

The one who withholds his wealth from his wife and children when he should spend on them is a miser.

And Allah knows best.

Secondly, this story is not different from the stories in the islamic hadiths. The story here is exactly how prophet Muhammad and his gang operated in Medina. Kidnapping victims, taking hostages, taking ransomes and raping women.
The village community is not different from the community of Muhammad in Medina.
Whoever has read this story has read the exact replica of how the so called prophet Muhammad operated 1500 years ago. Muhammad was the gang leader.
Must you always show how foolish you are? If the government is good do you think people will be kidnappers? You know the reality but the hatred you have for Muslims won't let you speak the truth.
