How long does it take for Uni-assist to process admissions cuz I applied for 2 course since end September and I'm yet to either hear from uni-assist or the respective schools on the situation of the application

Secondly, I realised the "admission restrictions: NC frei" means there is no restrictions so you will be admitted once you have all the requirements and pass the test.. I can be corrected if I'm wrong please..

The attached doc show a school I want to apply, The website it was stated that there is not restrictions for admission but in the Uni-assist site it shows "orts-NC" instead of "NC-frei"

Noting that I'm being careful not to wast money, do you advice I still go ahead with the application?, Could it be a mistake or something?..

So I think he needs to go to the embassy ,he will be asked to fill a form which he will fill and then the embassy will send a mail to fintiba

You only need to send the documents once

Yes you need your international passport data page to apply
Authentication depends on the school of choice (some allow authentication from courts while some allow only authentication from embassy)

Hello guys, I'm here to share my whole admission to visa experience on this German waka. I hope this lightens the mood here because I know the mood around here is down .

So I've been on my German journey since late 2018, I tried applying to many schools for Msc admission and got loads of rejection which dampened my mood but I decided I was not going to relent. So all through 2019 I was seeking admissions in public schools and I wasn't getting any, I guess because my course of study was in high demand (Data science) which requires the best Bsc result.

In the midst of this rejection offers I decided not to relent and was a follower of this German visa thread on nairaland. I began to notice that even with admission letters, appointment letters at the Embassy was not forthcoming and so I decided to leave Nigeria.

Early this year I decided on moving to Turkey, with the aim of staying six months and then moving to Germany, at this point I had no German admission yet but I decided on pursuing it. I came to Turkey as an Msc student in March and during the whole lockdown I started looking out for more schools to apply to in Germany.

My plan was very simple, I would come to Turkey , stay for six months with their residence permit and then apply for German visa after getting admission to Germany. So, I was sending applications here and there while I was studying in Turkey here and BOOM I finally got an admission to one of the best schools in Germany (top 10 percent worldwide). At this point I already had my Turkish resident permit and was waiting for my six months to complete before I apply for the German study visa at the Embassy here.

Finally, the six months elapsed, and then I began the visa application process which was very simple and fine .

The Process here in Turkey is very simple:

1. They have a third-party body (iData) that you book visa appointments through.
2. You pay about 69 Turkish lira which is an equivalent of (4500 naira) and then they tell you in two weeks you'll get an appointment to go to the Embassy. Mine came in 9 days.

He didn't rebook...he completed his winter enrollment in August..his appointment was cancelled Previously so he got a new date after he sent them mails

Please, when you rebooked August, what date did you use as Semester Start date?

1) sponsor must be someone earning well and residing in Germany
2) your GP is not really bad but you have to put in more work on your CV and work experience
3) uni assist evaluates your documents and check if it meet the requirements of the University you are applying to .You apply through them and you have to pay some application fee

however I bumped into this German thread and discovered it's cheaper cus the blocked account for Norway is about 5.3 million naira but Germany is roughly 4.5 mill

please my questions are

1. must your sponsor be from Germany what if he is from a higher country like the US

2 . I'm enrolling for masters degree I graduated with a 2.2 CGPA of 3.08
is there a chance of a2.2 graduate getting scholarship

Get someone in Berlin to pay a visit to the school

Hello, I paid 5,000 euros to IUBH Berlin in January 2020 before my admission was confirmed. No appointment date since then. Now I asked for a refund as the embassy has not being issuing visa appointment dates, and that I can’t keep trying since Germans don’t want Nigerians in their country anymore, the school has refused to refund me saying that they can only refund if the visa was denied. Please how do I go about this because this visa appointments could take years and I don’t have that time to waste. Is there any authority I can report this matter to?
