Bros plz buy most of the things you need in Nigeria...Cloths, footwear (including boots, all star, palm, snickers, shoe), mobile phone (please don't do contract) and food stuffs wey go last u till u get used to the system here.

bumdish: i_am_saheed, you have more than enough to worry about right now, so spend your time and effort doing just that.

But just for your information, you can renew any status during the last 6 months of a current status. You would need to renew/change your permit first (so you can remain in Canada)after which you can apply for another visa (so that you can enter again if need be)

Tuition was not paid bro, but a draft was raised in my schools name which i didn't get to show cdhc... My trv even came before my uncle raised the draft.

The thing is, school says payment is not possible until trv is issued and my full registration is done in person, which means i have to be in Canada.... So how do i open a student account?]

Okay am done from CDHC, i was not called to enter but told on phone to put my Tuition in my student account, and provide evidence of account and payment... Thing now is how do i get an account and how quick can it be done?... Please very urgent

galala123: if the tuition funds are readily available, you may do a usd bank draft for international clearing in the name of the school and submit to CDHC to with prepaid courier pack send at the appropriate time. Your uncle may also get CAD draft for the tuition from his bank and send to you to submit at CDHC for them to forward to school.
The VO may be trying to protect you by ensuring you enroll upon arrival. It's up to you to think outside the box and drop the ball in the court of cdhc! Na fees? Oya take the draft with prepaid UPS envelope (besides they deal with UPS so they don't need to step out of their office to post it).
