I doubt very strongly if the so-called strike affects the CDHC in Lagos. My friend, who applied for a Visitor's permit in May, has been called this week for his results. Let's stay calm friends. Hope maketh not ashamed!

It was a long story...I first applied in Mid Feb.(Paper application), I got a rejection in early April with the reason that my purpose of stay was not clear whereas I chose tourism in the application.

I re-applied on-line towards mid April this time I wrote a cover note on my purpose of visit and what I will be doing during the vacation and in exactly 20 days I got a notification in my CIC account to go with my passport to the embassy. That was all....

As per the list of docs I scanned and submitted..it was a laundry list oooo.

Paystubs, past travel visas, entry/exit stamps, past vacation pictures, Land docs, pension statements, bank statements, hotel booking, flight booking, letter from office, my travel itinerary, previous introductory letters from my coy. to other embassies on my past trips, boarding passes for previous trips mostly to parts of Europe....that's all I can remember ooooo.

I was given a 6 Month visa. Wish you luck ooo!

Aldou I don't have travel experience except a 1 month france visa the 3 of us got in february which we didn't use due to emergency that came up. I have my TRV to Canada for vacation, I actually applied for the visa with the intention of travelling in May 2013, but I had to postpone my vacation to Mid/Late July 2013 due to tight work schedules, this was after I had gotten the visa. Can this change in travel dates make me have questions to answer at the port of entry? Also anyone has infos on the cheapest air fares to Toronto without going through the middle east route? Will appreciate comments please.

The only problem is that I must travel latest on Sunday June 2nd because the name of the event and date is noted on d stamp. D event is schedule for June 3rd to 6th in Victoria, BC. Anyway I thank God for everything because my girl emailed me d ticket.

Hi, I really don't know what EBF is, but I'll advice you don't have sex untill after 41days, that's what I was told after having my baby. I didn't see my period too untill 2weeks to my son's 1 year birthday. Aldou I was told its because I exclusively breastfeed my baby. Its better you stay off sex for now, but if you really want to have sex then discuss with your doctor about it, I'm sure he/she will present options of family planning or your partner using protection, the choice is yours.

As for your tummy try and get your stomach mubbed with hot water and tie cloth on your tummy or wear gardle bra, (I wore gardle bra during mine) for 41days after giving birth, it will reduce the size of your tummy.
