The implication is this,Nigeria is not an exporting country but an import based economy. Is not wise when u give out money that will take u many months or years to recoup.
However,some will say but America is giving out cash and why is it not affecting them, the fact is,America is the biggest economy in the world and could afford to print as many dollar papers as possible to cushon the gab caused by the Covid 19. They are a productive economy,that cannot be compared with any nation on earth and that is because they produced virtually all what they consume ranging from agricultural,Mechanical,down to techs and many more.

In our own case,when there is so much money in the economy,that seems to drive us into recession/inflation because the cash is not being given to the productive sectors of the economy. In America,the stimulus package is being given to those who recently lost their jobs and to private businesses who could retain the services of their employees,with that the the stimulus package becomes a grants to the private business men and why it becomes a loan if they layoff their workers....that is why theirs is different from ours.

The best is for Nigeria to embark on house to house testing for Covid 19 and open the economy as soon as possible,this is fundamental because our case is quite opposite of America. We are lucky not to have recorded the kind of numbers that has been recorded in other climes and that is why we should approach it with our local know how as explained by Oyo state governor.

If u must marry,pls marry a working women even if she earns 20k a month.

Orji Uzor Kalu' case is a different circumstance from Darye's. Yes, Orji had corruption case but his incarceration was political at the time and was spearheaded by the southern presidential aspirant. Even the presidency were taken by surprise with the ruling. Don't be emotional because of what you perceived he did in Abia State. His imprisonment is majorly to cage any dissenting voice from the South against the major contender from that south.

I am very sure u don't know what politically motivated sentencing is,that is why u said the cabals were even astonished. For common sense sake,that judgement brought to a halt,a protracted case and for me and many like minds out there,we felt that was not punishment enough.
I was a student when this criminal governor was in power,there was absolute lawlessness in Abia state, a state where one woman dictated who becomes the commissioner of a state,a state where one old woman was more powerful than the governor of a state. I mean a state where one old woman dictated the affairs of both educated and illiterates in the state,traditional and non traditional institutions in the state. And that was his Mother!

A state where u must swear an oath before u are appointed or given any position. A state where fear were unleashed on the people and no one could challenged them. A state that has one of the worst infrastructures in Nigeria and yet u come to this thread to defend criminals. A state where all the raods leading to the govt house is in terrible shape. A state where nothing is working except Keke business. Go to Aba and see how terrible roads are and this same state is one of the oil producing states in Nigeria with all the NNDC projects and corruption.

Orji Uzoh Kalu though had financial misappropriation case was sent to prison mainly because of 2023 presidential election in order to silence any opposing southerner that would challenge the major Southern presidential aspirant in the ruling party. It further emboldens judges to corruption. If a judge can sentence a former governor and they use presidential pardon to free them,then expect judges to be very corrupt and this is not limited to EFCC.
