Even West Ham benched their record signing and Lazio best player Felipe Anderson and sent him out on loan when his laziness got too much for them. It's a possibility/probability I'm raising. I saw him playing RW and everyone else was still doing all his work for him, the opposition was overloading his wing, and Leverkusen was dragging midfielders out of their natural position to accommodate his laziness, creating gaps for Inter.

Results would suggest the only issue Leverkusen had was weakening their structure to accommodate Havertz which is why they are now top of their league and undefeated since he left

Chelsea is not Leverkusen that can bown before one lazy player and turn every other player into workhorse to accommodate.

Frank Lampard never played as an AM in a 4-2-3-1 but in a 4-3-3. When you are a goalscoring midfielder in a 4-3-3, you need no excuses, it will be evident in the runs you make and the goals you score, and your teammates will start adjusting to cover you when you make those runs.

Havertz should do what Lampard did and stop asking for 4-2-3-1 so he can be a passenger.

Havertz first season he played DM, second season he played CM.

4-2-3-1 is redundant except you have an exceptionally high scoring AM. Ozil, Mata, Oscar, Dele Alli and co are redundant for that reason.

Havertz needs to show us something in CM before we consider him for a redundant formation. We don't want to be like Manure that will be arguing for 4 years about Pogbas best position only to find out he has irredeemable flaws wherever you play him.

There has really been a good improvement in our play from the way we played in the beginning of the season. The players are getting better day by day.

What I think is happening now is just fatigue for playing in the ucl (other ucl teams are not left out.), injuries and lack of title winning mentality.
